Honestly taking the week off work before the LSAT will be really beneficial because it will give you a chance to do some final studying and review for the first 5 days and then relax and mentally prepare on the last two days until the exam

Yup. LSAT can really be this slow at releasing their scores. Sometimes they do release their scores a bit early but I think the June score was released on the exact day they said they would. So it can be 3weeks or 4.5 weeks :(.
24/25 is the median for law schools, these days, at least at the ones I know of. I'm 26 myself, and I've found that taking a few years off was beneficial for a variety of reasons. And I would argue taking the time off brought no disadvantages.
