Quick question, on the LSAT's past September do you think there will be two LR sections and 2 RC sections? Or do you think there will be 3 LR sections and 1 RC section? Because one of these is the experimental section but I'm trying to guess on how they're going to format it.

I need some major advice and opinions here. I started studying for the LSAT in January and have been putting in about 30+ hours a week on 7Sage. I did my diagnostic and got a 146, 152 BR, so nothing really great. I got through all of the LR content, with the exception of a few of the drills near the end (for the sake of time). I am just now starting LG and this is why I am now panicking. I fundamentally understand LG and with like 2-5 more mins I can get 100% on the games, obviously that is not helpful for the real timed exam. So I know if I can learn them fast I can get good at this section, but my issue is I am just barley starting. After doing a game over and over I can get a minute or two below the target time, but again I am a week into the games and this time drop isn't happening for games I see for the first time. I haven't done an RC yet. Another part of my worry. I have about 48 days until the April exam, which I want to take to give myself 2 LG exam attempts, and because I wanted to avoid taking the August exam, but now I just don't know how prepared I will be in April. I haven't taken any PT's since my diagnostic and that is definitely a stressor since I don't really know what I would be scoring around and I will likely only be able to fit in a couple of PTs and still won't be able to finish learning everything. I am a full time student and am involved on campus but I still am able to get about 30+ hours in, if I pushed my exam till June I would probably maintain this with the hopes of kinda mastering everything. I just am not sure if it is better to just send the April exam, I have score preview, and then can cancel if I bomb it, or if I should just push it till June, have more study time, and hopefully could score better on my first attempt? I just then am only getting one LG attempt. For April it gives more more attempts, but then I am worried if I feel horrible after/during the exam and stressed then it will make me feel more pressure to get it together on the June exam. Clearly this is really stressing my out and the days till the exam are flying by, so any advice/opinions would be appreciated!!!
#feedback 7sage might want to consider not letting free trial users post discussions or if they posts should be approved first. I've seen tons of spam posts about selling substances and offering strange services.
Can anyone from 7Sage comment on when the reorganized PTs. which were just released on LawHub, will be brought to 7Sage?
LawHub added new prep tests on their platform to mirror the new format starting August 2024. They labeled them Preptests 101 to 158. Does anyone know if the content on these tests is new or are they just reusing old test materials (from PT 1 to 94) and updating the format? Thanks
I'm currently stuck between taking the June or April (or both) LSAT since I want to try and take them before the logic games goes away in August. In the beginning of February I took my first PT after finishing the core curriculum and scored a 147 and my BR score was a 154 (my cold diagnostic was a 139). I want to take the LSAT with the logic games because it's supposed to be the most learnable section. Since my last PT I have been drilling LG 6 times a week for 5-6 hours a day using the foolproof method for games 1-35 (also I am currently a student in my last semester of undergrad and I do not work so I am able to put in a good amount of hours towards studying for the LSAT). I would love to take the April and June LSAT so I can have 2 go's at it but I'm worried that the April LSAT might be too soon since I still have to drill for LR and RC as I am not prepared at all in those sections. My RC is a -15 and LR -13. Also, the fact that I have to PT before the exam date worries me since I would need time to take PT's as well and I'm assuming I'd need at least few weeks for that. I'm planning to apply for the 2025 cycle and want to apply anywhere from September - December. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Should I even be considering the LSAT with LG or should I just be focusing on the other sections and plan to take it later without the LG? My goal score is 170, I know its high and probably unrealistic but I am willing to put in the work to get there. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you
Hi!
My friend who went to Yonsei UIC and I are starting an online LSAT study group. He has an official score of 176 and my score fluctuates from 166-172. I am not sure if this means anything but I have a degree from Johns Hopkins.
We meet at 7 pm-9 pm Korean Standard Time on Wednesday.
I have a Zoom Pro, so we can meet without interruption.
If you are interested, please send me a DM and I will invite you to the KakaoTalk group chat!
Thanks! (:

I will be driving about 8 hours to visit family in the next few days and wanted to take advantage of that time by using it as best I could to supplement my LSAT studies. What are some good sources for audio learning regarding the LSAT, strategies/prep, test taking skills... ect. I am also open to application and law school insights.
Thanks!
I just got granted testing accommodations/ LSAC provided me with a letter— I am wondering if there is another step I am suppose to take (I'll be taking it in person in April)? Like do I just show up to the center with the letter, and they'll accommodate accordingly, or do I need to contact them ahead of time? I want to make sure that I have done everything for them to honor it/not sure what the next step is
Hey guys! I have seen conflicting info about this and just wanted to double check--if you have paper and pencil accommodations you have to take the test in person, right? It used to be the case that they would ship you the test and you would take it virtually, but now taking it at a testing center is required? Thanks!
Hello,
I was wondering if everything has been fully added to CV2. I've read some previous comments that CV2 was still in works, and wanted to know if the finalized version is ready to use.
Thanks
Hi all,
I have ADHD and my medication recently stopped working altogether for me (apparently its a thing that sometimes happens). I haven't been able to study in WEEKS because of my ADHD brain and I just pushed the April test to June to give myself more time, given this disruption. I need studying motivation. Please, if you have any advice, kind words, or a compelling story to tell that might inspire some motivation in me, share it if you feel comfortable. This is a rough time for me and I am just looking for some support.
Hello, so I started studying late December and I have been following the curriculum but I haven't been taking any practice tests. Should I be doing practice test while following the curriculum or do I wait until I finish the entire curriculum? How is everyone else studying? and How many hours a day or week are u studying?
Please help!
7 Sage #Admin, please provide some sort of guidance in the Learn dropdown that lets new users understand that they have an option between using V1 or V2 CC, along with V1 or V2 Study Schedule. Personally, I got over being annoyed that I started on V1 and after a month realized there's V2, which is more feasible for my schedule. After completing some of the updated lessons, I realized there's a whole different Study Schedule for V2 from a comment. This is rather frustrating and giving me a bad user experience.
I am planning to take the LSAT after August, so I would like to start practicing with Prep Tests that do not include logic games. I read somewhere that once you click on a prep test, there should be a drop-down menu to the right of the prep test number that allows you to select the version of the test you want to take. However, I'm encountering an issue as there is no drop-down menu when I click on a prep test. If anyone has faced a similar problem and has found a solution, your insight would be much appreciated.
Hi there,
I know it is important to simulate real test day conditions, which means making sure I have the stamina to do 4 sections to simulate the experimental section. However, 7sage's August 2024 version only has the 3 actual sections. Is there a way 7sage recommends practicing the August format but including 4 sections? Should I just immediately take an extra RC or LR section from another pretest right after I finish the 3 section PT?
Also, is it recommended to do this for EVERY PT, or should I just throw in a 4 section every once in awhile?
Which PTs does the drill feature in the Core Curriculum v2 pull from? And is there a way to limit which PTs are used?
Hey everyone, I have recently made the decision to retake the LSAT in the summer of 2025 (goal of 170+) because my current score (166 from Jan 21’) will be expiring by the time I plan to finally matriculate to law school in the fall of 2026.
Last go around, I began studying in October of 2020 with a diagnostic of 156, and reached a score of 166 by focusing HEAVILY on logic games. I did fine on LR and RC, but had a limited window to study (January was the cutoff for a program I was applying for at work). As a result, I really just skimmed the LR curriculum.
With Logic Games leaving the LSAT this year, I’m losing my greatest strength, but I’m also gaining the opportunity to improve a lot by taking the LR curriculum seriously.
How early is too early to begin 7sage again? I won’t make the mistake of limiting my study to 3 months again, but is 18 months too much?
Hey all, could somebody please explain this: once you see what you got right and wrong, there's also an indicator for what others chose and the percent who chose the correct answer. On every question I've done, even the hardest ranked ones, it's always 50-60%+ that are getting stuff right, often higher. Does this mean the majority is answering everything correctly? Kind of demotivating to see a '70% chose the correct answer' on every 5* question I struggled with...
Hey Everyone , Im currently working through the CC (I have done another program before so a lot of this is well needed review/reinforcements). I know that I won't be able to 100% complete the CC questions listed but I can do a good portion. I want to get a general idea of how I should be studying until April. I still feel like I’m lacking structure. To be fair, I work full time so timing has been a big issue of mine. Anybody want to share their weekly study schedule or bounce some ideas on what I can do to maximize my time. How often I should be doing PT's reviewing them? What should I target? I often find that I’m doing endless drills I’m not sure if that’s even the best way to go. Thanks in advance!
If you're ready to get more practice taking a full LSAT Prep Test under simulated online proctor conditions, you're in the right place. The next Proctored PT will take place on Saturday February 17 at 1:00 PM.
Thanks to all who could come last week to the PT and BR sessions. On Monday, we reviewed PT75's deceptively fascinating LR stimuli: among them the Duke of Acredia, outfitting cattle with expensive GPS, and debating claims about a comet reservoir. On Tuesday's RC BR session, we dove deep into the comparative passage, two sides on whether liars and thieves deserve a taste of their own medicine. Fun! Hope to see you at the next ones.
Here's how our Proctored PTs work:
Once you sign up, you'll receive an email from Zoom with the link to join the meeting.
Select a PT that you want to take for the proctored test. This week's recommended PT is test 76; you're encouraged to attend the associated Blind Review sessions on Monday and Tuesday! (BR Series). You can take the PT through 7Sage, or- if you want to simulate real test-day conditions- you can log into LawHub and take it there.
Show up to the Zoom meeting 10 minutes before the scheduled start time (12:50 PM ET). You will all be prompted to complete a room scan (similar to the test-day security measures) at the same time and then put into a breakout room by yourself to complete the test.
Simulate the test! Our 7Sage Proctors will monitor the testing process for the duration of your test and even simulate a pesky interruption. The Proctor will ask if anyone would like to be interrupted at the beginning of the session, and you will have the chance to indicate your preference. If only the Prometric proctors would be so kind as to ask! If you have any approved accommodations, please let us know via private chat at the beginning of the session as well––you will be able to test with those.
If you have any questions, please email bailey.luber@7sage.com. We hope to see you there!
How many drill Questions should I put into the auto drill builder, if we are to drill for an hour. I am specifically referring to Main Conclusion: Drill It and it says under this I should drill for an hour.

I have been studying since January and I have completed 20% of the syllabus, my lsat is in April and I do not plan on doing another LSAT as I have to apply for Law school and I plan on going this year. I want to get around a 160. I did my first PT at the start and I got a 143. I'm confused on what is the most effective way I should be studying with the time I have right now.
From the past week I have decided that everyday I will be doing drills and practicing one specific type of question whether that is LR or LG. I am not doing the syllabus in order anymore and I will skip to the parts where the types of questions are explained so I have a brief idea on how to approach them. Please give me suggestions and the plan I should be incorporating to reach my goal. Thank you
Hi all,
I have started studying for the LSAT in June (on and off during the summer) with a diagnostic in the low 150s. As I have had a busy schedule, I am still doing to core curriculum (LG at the moment) and doing every single drill. I will have more time to dedicate to LSAT from now on. I am aiming at 175+ ideally but haven't been doing that many PTs, just serious drills. I wonder if I should grind and take the April LSAT (and do it again in June if needed) or only the June LSAT (I am abroad so no other options).
Any advice?
