🙃 Confused

Drilling

Hi guys, does anyone know how to reset your drilling pool, mine keeps saying only "Selecting from 1,145 of 2,538 questions in your drill pool" and my drills consist of only level 5 questions when i'm trying to focus on level 1 and 2

Starting back in January 2017 I began 7sage with a 144 diagnostic. The thousands of hours studying lead up to today, November 17th, 2018. The journey has been a roller coaster of emotions to say the least, but the feeling of walking into test day confident as ever made EVERYTHING worth it. 7sage continues to be the best course out there and the community is even better. Thanks to everyone in the webinars, to those who indirectly helped me by leaving comments/posts, to those who that gave me a good laugh after being stumped by a question, and, most of all, J.Y. Ping. I never thought this day would come so fast, but almost two years later and here it is!! I think I hit somewhere in the mid 160's today and I couldn't be happier.

Time to get those applications ready. I wish my very best for those of you studying, cheers!

I noticed that the LSAT August 2025 dates specify "Region: United States (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada." Does this mean that there are no online options for international takers either? Sorry for the basic question, apologies if this isn't the place for it.

Is anyone else having issues with the audio in Safari? It was working fine until a few weeks ago. Its okay with the other browsers but I like Safari better because you don't have to wait for the video to load. Could it be something to do with having Ad Block or a missing codec or something?

Okay guys, this is pretty much my dumb down version of explaining some formal logic based on my knowledge. I believe this is something that needs to be really understood in order to improve in logic games.

Example 1:

If A-> Not B

If B-> Not A -------> That implies that

*A can be alone

*B can be alone

*Both can be absent ( BUT YOU CAN NOT HAVE BOTH A AND B SELECTED!)

Example 2:

If Not A -> B

If Not B ->A ----------> That implies that

*If A is out, then B is in

*If B is out, then A is in

*Or both A and B can be in

THEY BOTH CAN NEVER BE ABSENT!!

Example 3:

If not A ->not B

If B ->A ------------> That implies that

* Both CAN be absent

*Both CAN be present

*A CAN be by itself

* B CANNOT! I REPEAT CANNOT be Alone!!!

Excuse the caps, the emphasis helps me remember haha...Please make any changes if I am wrong. But this is what I came across. When I finally had this written down, it made so much more sense to me.

So when I’m having a tough time with a question and I’m on my phone, sometimes I’ll look up the question on Google, and see that 7sage has that particular video online (ex: “Section 1 Question 23”) but when I click on it from Safari, it opens up through the browser and I’d have to log in in order to view the video. If possible, and I think it would be a lot more convenient for people who have the app installed on their phones, to insert a button at the top of the browser that allows you to automatically open the app with the specific video instead of having to log in through the browser.

Thank you guys for waiting! All video explanations for PrepTest 83 are now available!

If you have the Ultimate+ course, the explanations have been automatically added to your account. You can see them here:

If you'd like to pick up PT83 and its explanations, you can pick it up here:

On the old 7Sage, when looking over the question summary it would highlight which parts are the premises and what the conclusion is. Will this feature be added to the new site in the future? Or does it exist on here in the summary and I'm just missing it?

I want to share an update with those of you who had test center issues. I had filed a Test center complaint about JFK University center where test takers were seated too close to each other during the Oct test. This could be a huge distraction during the test. I heard from LSAC and they said they take Test Center complaints very seriously and look into all complaints confidentially.

So any of you who has a Test Center complaint about your test center or JFK University test center, do not hesitate to be on record about it so the issue is resolved at least for the future test takers. There is no downside to it. The complaint has to filed within a certain number of days.

The newest version of Apple's iPhone/iPad/iPod operating system, iOS 9, was just released earlier today. Upgrading to this new version may cause parts of the 7Sage app to stop working for some devices.

I've been running the app on my iPhone with iOS 9 (I got an early release) for about a week without seeing any problems on the app. But I've heard that there are problems with other people's devices, and I confirmed that the Grader and Course options stopped working on my iPad mini after upgrading.

Sorry if this iOS 9 problem affects your device! We already made a fix, and submitted it to Apple for approval just a minute ago. Hopefully they'll approve the update quickly, but they usually take a week, sometimes much longer.

Is there any way we can reset the drill questions we have completed in the past but still save our completed prep tests? I want to redo questions ive done a long time ago since I dont have too many fresh prep tests left but the only way I can do this is if I reset my completed prep tests too and I dont want to do that. If this isnt possible, can an option be implemented to allow for this.

How long (whether in terms of hours or across a span of days) does it take for you to do the following?

  • Blind reviewing your PTs before checking your score
  • After your PT score reveal, going through video explanations on your missed or flagged questions
  • Drilling before your next PT
  • Overall, time between your PT attempts
  • I ask because it takes me about a month to get through all of this, and that seems much longer than what I hear is recommended. Granted, I am aiming to increase my study time on the weekdays, so that should establish a faster cycle. I currently study an hour per work night, on average. For weekends, about 2-3 hours per day.

    My distribution is something like:

  • 1 week for blind review
  • 1-1.5 week of video explanations
  • 1-1.5 weeks of drilling
  • Overall, 3-4 weeks between PT attempts
  • Open to any tips you all have!

    Proctors: Either the proctor could not read, or it was the first time she read the LSAT instructions.

    Facilities: The restrooms are close by. The building is old but it has everything.

    What kind of room: Big lecture room(s).

    How many in the room: 100+

    Desks: Well you have chairs with tablet arms. At lease enough space to put your answer sheet there. I spread the test booklet on my lap and put my watch on the chair next to mine.

    Left-handed accommodation: Didn't pay attention but I would say no.

    Noise levels: Minimum

    Parking: Ample parking close to the building.

    Time elapsed from arrival to test: People were still arriving after 8:30 am. I would say we did not start till 10 am.

    Irregularities or mishaps: I sat in the front row and the proctors whispered on and on during one section - in the end, I had to stop them.

    Other comments: The test center is not at St. Johns Law school, but one of the main lecture hall in the university. Your LSAT instruction sheet will not reveal this till one week before the test. The proctors are not familiar with this test so they are lax about the procedure. You can bring your cell phones to the test center - they will just store the phones in a white plastic box. The bad thing is that one phone went off during the test...

    Would you take the test here again? I was reassigned there (from Hofstra). I don't want to take it again at this place even though I got my highest score.
