Hey so I was doing some surfing on eBay for cyber Monday of course, and I came across someone selling their LSAT materials, I guess they got what they wanted out of them. This is the most interesting one I saw, a bundle of PT 7-80, which is awesome! Go get it folks! There’s also the Powerscore trilogy and The LSAT Trainer on there as well.

Hi everyone!

Some of you may remember I made a poll about a month back regarding my uncertainty about taking the LSAT in December, well, after reading everyone’s advice I opted for the best choice: take the LSAT at a later date!

Before the deadline, I sent LSAC an email with an attached refund request, which they provide online. I haven’t received any response from them, LSAC I mean. Should I go ahead and withdraw? I don’t want to lose my refund, but more importantly, I don’t want to be marked a no show for the December LSAT!

Any thoughts? Have any of you guys had this experience ?

Thanks :)

Hi,

I was looking at the Preview App feature and saved documents in Word, but can reformat if needed, maybe to PDFs, and when I paged through an application, there were some blank pages, I think because the essays would have elapsed onto a new page if they were a little longer. I'll try to reformat later, but does anyone have other strategies that can be used to avoid this? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in Criminal law. My goal after law school is to get lots of experience working as an ADA before moving into the federal arena. Does anyone know a website where I can compare the salaries of ADAs across states? It appears the average starting salary is about 63k a year. However that 63k translates differently given the varying costs of living.

Really trying to find that sweet spot a low cost of living and average salary...and avoid staying in my hometown, which is Baltimore MD.

Ironically, Baltimore City ADAs make 63k, the cost of living is manageable, and there's plenty of crime to keep me busy.

Any other states I should look at for law school?

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out the best way to spend my last couple of days (Thursday and Friday) before I sit for the test on Saturday. Originally, my plan was to use Thursday to drill a bunch of individual sections from different preptests and take Friday to do some light practice (nothing timed, barely any work tbh) just to keep the material fresh in my mind. However, I'm now getting conflicting advice from some friends who I have been asking.

I took my most recent (and what I presumed to be my last) 5-section timed exam last night (Tuesday) and did the best I've ever done on a preptest. Obviously I was thrilled, but now I'm wondering if it would be in my best interest to take one final preptest in conditions that will be more similar to the actual test (in the morning, in a relatively quiet space, etc.). I have only taken one 9am preptest at this point since I work full-time (I'm taking the next 2 days off for test prep). Should I just try to ride on the confidence of my most recent practice test going into test day?

Additionally, I have heard some talk of "warming up" on the day of the exam. I would love to know if this technique has worked out for others.

Any and all advice would be tremendously appreciated! :)

LSAT

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of companies that will give discounted or even free prep material if I was approved for the LSAC fee waiver?

Please detail any information you feel is pertinent to me as it will be much appreciated. Thank you!

It is currently April 5, 2020. I am taking the LSAT for the first time August 28th. I am also planning on taking the October 3rd test. For my study schedule, should I put my "end" date as August 27th or October 2nd? I originally put August 27th but then I thought I should spread it out so I am still actively studying up until the October 3rd test. Should I put my "end date" somewhere between the two exams?

Hi there!

So I have gone over the lessons and listened to all of the videos. I tend to print out 10 clean copies of the problem sets they give us in the lesson and then I drill those. I'm wondering if you still need to drill prep tests that are "Deprecated"? To be honest I have no idea what the Deprecated part means.... I know that it means that it will be deleted soon...so should we still drill these as well? I'm hoping that if I drill hard enough on the problem sets that they give us per section then that will be enough and then I can go ahead and take a full on prep test.

Thank you!

I totally forgot about the scratch paper. The thing is right after I finished it was completely silent for a minute or so, so I just closed the connection with proctor u.

Was I supposed to rip up scratch paper in front of camera? Obviously after I realized this I did throw it away and ripped it up, but hours after. Will people be penalized if not ripping it up in front of camera afterwards?

Greetings 7 Sagers,

I was hoping to get some insight on the ethics of contacting schools for application advice. Is it acceptable to touch base with a school and inquire about advice they can give you as a JD applicant? I'm sure there are several people in this community who are either 1) waiting for a decisions, or 2) on the waiting list, and would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks!

I have 3 copies of the Official LSAT SuperPrep and 1 copy of 10 Actual LSAT (29-38).

Some of them have very light writing on them that is easily erasable.

All items free, you just have to pay shipping. Or if you're in LA area, I can meet up with you.

Mods please let me know if not okay to post this.
