I scored 140 on PT 52 under the normal time pressure but I scored 157 on BR. Not sure what to make of this or how to proceed in my studying. I am almost finished with all of the LR section lessons of the core curriculum. I have done the most studying on LR, which is my strongest section, and I have done very little studying on the LG section. I have done absolutely zero studying on the RC section. The majority of my mistakes during the actual test were from running out of time on the LG and RC section. I was unable to answer about 15 questions in the LG section because I ran out of time and I was unable to answer 10 questions in RC because I ran out of time. Any advice on how I should proceed in studying?

I have done problems that it's my second go-round and will choose the exact incorrect AC I did previously. It's interesting because once I know the right AC and am looking at my wrong answer journal, I clearly see what I did wrong and I'm like, I definitely knew better. And I'm bugged with myself for not remembering the concept. I think I'm pretty thorough with my WAJ, but am I not being thorough enough? Or just takes time for this stuff to sink in?

just another thank you seven sage post!! never thought I would get to make one of these lol. I've seen so many of these posts and the only part of them that discouraged me from time to time was when people mentioned their crazy score increases yet the score they were comparing their official score to was their diagnostic test. I scored a 147 on my official first LSAT after already having exposure to/studying for the test. I think it is important to mention that it is fully possible to make SIGNIFICANT gains even if you have yet to see them after a few months of studying! Be patient with yourself :) patience was something I lacked most days!!

Has anyone had a similar issue?

The particular issue I'm having is that the summary of the AC's correct and incorrect under the Drill Sets "Review Results" is not matching what is shown in the individual explanations. For example, I just completed four logic games from PT 31. As I'm in the process of FPing, I'm not always BRing directly after, I sometimes show results immediately under timed conditions to see what was correct and incorrect. I got four incorrect of the thirty five, three from one particular game and one from another. Specifically, PT 31, S1, G2 (Music store sells ten CD's), the results from the Drill Set say I got 7, 8, and 13 incorrect. When I go to watch the explanation, it now says 7, 8, 9, 12 were incorrect, with 13 having changed to correct. When I go over to the right of the AC's and hover over the wheel showing previous ACs with the selected AC and the corresponding date, it's giving me the incorrect date's AC. This is just becoming a slight challenge as I'm starting to notice a pattern where the AC's are becoming convoluted with the previous attempt. I'm using Safari on macOS Monterey 12.6.3

Can people please post LSAT percentiles from official tests for 2022. They have changed over time. The ones I posted are official percentiles from either personal or from friends for 2022. The percentiles do slightly change over time but the ones posted are current/ official percentiles. I'm missing 171-174 if anybody has received/ and or knows of someone with that score please post it in the comment sections. Also if you think there's value in filling 162-165 and 167-168 feel free to also post that. The main intention was from 96% (170 and UP). Again the percentiles have changed! A 170 used to be top 2% (98%) and lowered to top 3% (97%) as more and more people started scoring higher scores. Now its top 4% (96%). If I do end up getting responses then I will edit this post and fill up the missing percentiles/ scores.

I know a 161= 78%

166= 90%

169= 95%

170= 96%

171=

172=

173=

174=

175= 99%

I've been studying around 5-6 hours every day for about a month now, and I'm scheduled to take the exam in April (my 3rd attempt overall). However, I'm currently stuck in a slump where I feel super unmotivated since my score's been plateauing in the low 160s, which is around what my result was on my most recent real test, and I really want to break into the 170s. Whenever I take PTs, my best and worst section is constantly changing - for example, I'll get -7 on one RC and then -3 on another, and the same goes for LR. With LG, I'll get -0/-1 on drills, but on practice tests, I almost never do that well. I feel like I need to drastically overhaul my studying methods because right now, nothing seems to be working, but I don't know where to start. Tutoring is out of the question since I'm not looking to spend any more money, so any advice on how to continue studying on my own is greatly appreciated!

Has anyone had success getting a test limit exemption approved by LSAC, currently in this situation and looking to see if anyone has advice for me. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi all!

My understanding is the following:

  • inclusive “or” gives you group 3
  • “not both” gives you group 4.
  • “either or but not both” gives you the bi-conditional group.
  • However, when "or" means "and" in a sentence, do we follow Group 3 rules? How would we write it in Lawgic?

    Example: Jane is a faster eater than either Mary or Jon.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey! So I'm currently about 50% of the way done with the Core Curriculum on 7Sage and am planning on taking the June LSAT this year (for the 2023-2024 application cycle). I feel like I'm in a pretty solid spot right now but I definitely have a lot more to do.

    However, after doing some research from various sources, I'm seeing that the June LSAT is historically, from a statistical perspective, the hardest one that is administered. If you're reading this, can you confirm whether or not this is true? Additionally, should I even let these aforementioned stats influence which month I take the LSAT in? Thanks for taking the time to read this!

    Hi! I'm new to this. Do instructors provide the homework assignments before the class? If so, how far in advance b/c I plan to take class tomorrow, but I do not see the homework for it. I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

    Hello everyone sorry if this is a redundant question. I plan on taking the LSAT in April. I started studying roughly in September (but I would say I really get tough on myself in January). I finished the Trainer in December and am currently working my way through 7sage. I plan to finish the curriculum (without PTs) before March, giving me only a month to just completely immerse myself in PTs. Given that shortish time frame, I'm not gonna be able to do all practice tests. I was wondering which ones should I give priority to. I think I read on here that 80+ or something like that was different that the previous ones I believe? I would appreciate any advice, thank you!

    I know mine is not a unique problem, but I am wondering if anyone has advice. When I have the time to slowly go through each question, I have great accuracy in pretty much all four sections. However, especially in the LR sections, I am finding the time pressure is causing me to miss important details and trying to move quickly results in sloppy decision making. I know practice helps, but I continue to struggle when under pressure. Does anyone have any tips for overcoming this?

    Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone has thought of this strategy or is doing this. Lately Ive just been focusing on Logic games. Since I'm retaking the test in April, I figured I'm better off hitting one section hard instead of trying to improve on the test as a whole. As you may already figured out the LSAT doesn't give you an increase in points right away instead you have to reach a boiling point of improvement until it translates into actual score increases. What do you all think of this?

    Hi everyone!

    I am pretty new to 7Sage and am still trying to get a grasp of everything it has to offer.

    One question I have is how strictly should I be following the study schedule that was provided for me? I have heard that while studying for the LSAT, I should be doing multiple practice exams, but on my first couple weeks on my study schedule, there are none. Should I still be doing practice exams although the schedule does not say I should? Or should I wait until my study schedule has them on the agenda for the week? Thanks so much, hope you can help!

    Hi everyone! I have two questions regarding the April and June tests that I'm hoping some of you know the answers to:

  • Will the format be online or in-person for these tests?
  • Will the logic game section be the same as it's always been or changing into the updated version for these tests?

    Hey everyone. I wanted to gauge everyones thoughts on doing PTs with 3 sections vs 4 sections. I’ve heard a lot of people mention that doing 3-section PTs inflates your scores due to stamina being less of a factor. I usually opt for the 3-section PT as I find it more efficient and just better overall for days when I don’t have much time. However, I recently took a 4-section test and actually received the highest score I’ve ever gotten on it. This takes me back to my question on what people think is best. Is it really so bad to do 3-section PTs? I understand it doesn’t simulate real exam conditions but, again, I’d like to hear some opinions on what you guys do!
