Hello! Finally back in the habit of regularly studying, but having a bit of an issue. I've been drilling NA for a couple of days, but sometimes still miss questions. Should I focus on this question type until I repeatdly miss no questions in my drills or take a break and move on to other sections? Thanks in advance for advice!
LSAT

Hello!
I'm looking for a small group of people to discuss and drill Logical Reasoning questions.
Anyone in the 160-170 range and taking the January LSAT, or another date for that matter, please shoot me a message and I will create one! I believe this group can help keep each other accountable and share helpful tips to truly excel at 4 or 5 star questions.
I'm trying to understand why did JY break the "contrapositive rule"when mapping out the first two rules?
Rule 1: If 2 C's and Min1 L same vote --> both moderates same vote
Then as his contrapositive, he just negated the sufficient and necessary without swapping their positions? I thought we are never allowed to do that.
For example, the typical contra positive is (A -> B) and (/B -> A)
But here he did (CC L same --> MM same) and (/CC L same --> /M same)
I understand the rule itself. If 2C and Min 1L are in, both M is in as well. And if either there is no 2C or min 1 L together, then the two Ms are floaters. Is this correct?

How are important are these games for studying? Recently took PT 77 and I had trouble setting myself up for the game and got all the questions wrong and it took off a lot of time. Are misc games in the recent tests?
Having been on the LSAT journey for years, knowing how challenging this test is, and receiving support from so many people online, I promised myself that if I ever get my dream score (172+), I would pay it forward to others by helping them achieve their goals.
I finally did it... it's still surreal (all glory to God). I can help with the following:
Plz reach out if and only if you:
My diagnostic: 153 --> best score before Nov: 167 --> practice exam range: 169-178
STEM major in one of the top tech institutions but no CAS GPA before December (haven't reached 60 credit hours). Cumulative GPA is 4.2 out of 4.3. Not a US citizen.
This is my second take. First one was in April, 174. PT-ing 175-180, average 178 ish.
My mom is so upset, I can't even believe it. help
Edit: I'm sorry if this post makes anyone unhappy. I know I should be satisfied with a 174 or 176. And I am. Family pressure for absolute perfection is another story, though. My mom is literally asking me to forget about law school. Go to work as a software engineer, she says. I am so sad.
HELP
Hello, can someone please explain the difference between answer choice D and answer choice E? I am failing to see how they are different no matter how many times I look over the wording. I probably missed something or diagrammed it incorrectly, so I would love for someone to double check my work. Thank you!
The stimulus lawgic I wrote is:
/D --> J
/J --> D
D --> Q
J --> Q
Q
The lawgic I diagrammed for (D) is as follows:
/L --> K
/K --> L
L --> M
K --> M
M
(E) Lawgic:
/D --> S
/S --> D
D --> C
S ---> C
C
Thanks!
I personally feel like 7sage let me down. I studied as much as I could working full time. I took PTs, did drills, and still all for nothing. What do I do?
I just wanted to share a sub 170 success story for us non genius types haha.
I originally used Kahn Academy and had a 149 diagnostic, I was absolutely terrible at games… like -15. Somehow I heard about 7Sage and have been on here for over a year and a half.
I studied hard for 4 months and got 154 on Nov 202, even a with strong GPA that got me rejected from all 8 schools I applied to in Canada. That sucked ngl.
In late June 2022 I decided to use every bit of extra cash I had, and some frankly I didn’t have(shout out Visa lol) and put off any extra spending on vacations, sporting events, etc. to get sessions with a 7Sage tutor. This frankly made a huge difference in my ability to hone in on strong study habits and motivated me when I was struggling to find it within myself. I can’t recommend James Marmaduke with 7Sage enough, he gave me drills, a plan, and realistic feedback on my goals. I wanted to hit at least 160, preferably somewhere in the low to mid 160 range.
On October 2022 I scored a 160 which I was happy with. But I knew I could do a bit better based on my PTs and that my 160 would be borderline to get accepted to my first choice schools I am applying to with 163-164 Medians.
I took November’s exam and got a 163 which I am ecstatic about! It’s take a long time but I’m stoked to go from a 149 diagnostic to a 163.
I hope everyone got the scores they were looking for yesterday and best of luck to all the 7Sage ppl applying this cycle. This has been a great resource and a big part of that is the community. Hopefully someone in the 140s reads this and is inspired.
Cheers!
Even with a terrible error during test day, performed well above my average. Thank you so much and good bye!!
I still have a lot of work to do, but I cracked the 150's on my first official LSAT. I am very pleased and this score will get me into my "safe school." Thank you 7sage:)
A 145 diagnostic to a 162 in September to a 177 in November. Thank you J.Y. and 7 sage I still cannot believe it.

Can’t see the video, wants me to post a discussion first?
Currently working on MSS, and stumbled upon LSAT 69 Section 4, Question #9.
It has an answer choice that is wrong for the reason that it uses a 'mistaken reversal'. Can anyone explain to me what mistaken reversal is?
Thanks!!

How can I do better on the Most Strongly Supported Questions?
I read the lesson on this topic and follow the steps to choose the best answer. But every time I think I’m doing well, I do the practice questions and end up doing poorly which discourages me even more.
I've been studying about 5 months full time now, and I am consistently scoring -7/8 on every LR I do.
What should I do at this point to make a breakthrough?
Any advice would help! Thank you all!
(Applying for the Fall 2023 cycle)
I've taken the LSAT three times. First in August of 2021 (cancelled score- was not ready AT ALL), second in November of 2021, got a 155 (median for my target schools, I'm fine with this score), and just took it again this November and ended up doing worse than my 155:( (I got a 152). I'm extremely heartbroken as I put my heart and soul into my study process, and ran into technical difficulties at the start of my exam which, although ProctorU was very helpful and responsive with resolving right away, definitely had me shaken up and a nervous reck during my first section (RC- ugh). My GPA is my strong-suit, also being the median/ slightly above the average at my targeted schools. My goal has never been to go to an Ivy/ top school, just one that is credible enough and will help me land a decent job (currently interested in Intellectual Property law/ real estate law)!
I have decided I am most likely not taking the exam a fourth time, as my 155 I'm fine with and am just afraid I could run into an even worse problem. Has anyone else been through a similar experience? I did purchase score preview- but would it look bad to have two cancelled LSAT scores? Should I go down the path of writing an Addendum? I understand the majority of people on here are now studying for the LSAT and may not be this far along in the process, but absolutely any advice/ insight with be greatly appreciated as I feel so lost and confused on what my next steps should be.
PLEASE HELP
So got the score for my first LSAT attempt for November and got 154. I am trying to get into Canadian law schools (within Ontario). I have a good GPA, 2 years of professional experiences that are relevant to law and my Personal Statement is strong. So here is the question: do I go with it or it's a score that won't get me anywhere?
Just trying to get my mind around deciding whether to try for Jan or not.
I hope everyone else did well and are happy with their score!
Cheers
Hi, this will be my third time on the LSAT and have started applying to schools (they all know I am taking the LSAT in January). The past two times I got 143 and 147. I have severe test anxiety specifically for this lsat and have never experienced text anxiety for a test in university, grad school, anywhere. I guess I would say that logic’s reasoning is my strength, then reading comprehension, then logic games. I want to improve as much as I can and have made changes in my habits to help my anxiety including going on medication. Should I go about improving on all sections or just one? And what would be a reasonable expectation for a score increase?
This is just venting.... so bear with me (or vent with me)!
I took the October test and didn't get to finish the game section and it bothered me so much. I got a 165 and thought that score reflected my performance. Took the November test and walked away feeling like it was an average PT, not great but not bad either, but got a 165 again! I feel like there is such a mismatch vs my perceived performance. On PTs I've been scoring mostly 170-173, above 175 on half a dozen PTs. I'd be upset when I would occasionally score 167-169, which was low for me. If going by how I feel I did on the test I thought the November test would've been at least a 168-169. As in the lowest. I just don't know anymore and feel horrible.
Anyone else score way below what you PT at?
Why is it that for MBT questions we do not try all scenarios before picking an AC? For example, question 3 reads, “If K sits directly between L & P, then M must sit between..” for this in the live commentary, she writes PKL but doesn’t try for LKP. I understand that both scenarios lead to the same AC. However, shouldn’t we try all scenarios before selecting an AC? A MBT AC should apply to all scenarios, not just one. Just trying to figure out what’s best practice. #help

I am currently stuck between a 147-151 on PT. I have about 10 weeks until I take the LSAT and my goal score is a 154. I have gotten a 154 once, but that was untimed and I took double the time recommended. Does anyone have any advise on how long I should study or what I should do throughout the next few weeks?
I don't understand why B is correct. JY, make a explanation video real quick
