I thought I had been getting better at LR, I took this section and got -9 which is no better than when I began studying. Kinda discouraging but I think this was a really hard LR section.
hi all!
first off congrats on all those who sat for the Nov test and completed it in one piece! I feel somewhat accomplished in doing that alone, it being my first official administration. But I am also trying to be somewhat realistic with myself, knowing that I am almost 100% sure that I want to sit for the Jan test and take a shot at getting a higher score!
I had been studying since June before taking the Nov test, so obviously completed all 7sage CC and taken PTs 40-50, so now what?
trying to take into consideration my known weaknesses that I feel in myself, and use those to try and construct a new study plan, I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else in the same/similar situation as myself, have any advice. mainly what you have done in the past or what you will be doing until the Jan test? I'm thinking of more timed sections instead of full PTs to start out & focus more on getting a few extra points from RC (since personally I did not spend much time at all learning RC strategies to begin with), along with getting a constant LR section that I am confident with. what about you?
thanks so much in advance for taking the time to help a girl out :)

Sometimes I have a hard time understanding what the answer choice is saying. For example, on Method Reasoning questions, I understand what X is doing, but have a hard time formulating the words into LSAT words/answer choices. Does anyone know a good way to solve this issue?
I watched JY's explanation video and I see why B is correct, but I'm still confused why D isn't either. It says "if ALL farmers..." in the premise, so how isn't it overlooking that possibility?
Hi, all. PM to join my January LSAT tester Discord channel! (3(/p)

Does anyone know where one could find an explanation for this passage. It destroyed me and 7sage does not have an explanation.
PT February 97 passage 3 "feminist opposition to efforts to restrict women's hours of work"
I had a first LSAT absence 4 years ago, which appears on the LSAC record. Back then, I decided to pursue a different career path, thinking I won't ever take LSAT and go to law school. But as I'm studying and preparing for law school again now, I was wondering if I do not show up for the registered October test, will total of two absences appearing on the record hurt my chance of admission when I actually apply?
I saw several discussions online saying it won't matter much, but those comments were written 3~4 years ago, so I wanted to know if such is still the case. Thank you!

Bailey, Nicole, and ZeSean discuss why simply checking answers isn't sufficient and introduce better approcahes approach to review. They detail essential techniques, including effective error analysis strategies and mastering the Blind Review method, explaining how these transform review from a passive chore into an active, powerful tool for boosting your score.
Hello, am I looking to weaken and strengthen the conclusion in my answer choice. Should I select an answer that could work both ways? Or find the answer that does either or? Thank you
What is the difference between observation and phenomenon on LSAT?
If you're taking the Oct. 2019 LSAT and your account is inconveniently set to expire a few days before the test date, you can get a free 14-day extension from this page: https://classic.7sage.com/free-extension/
For those of you who are expiring after, good luck on the LSAT! We here at 7Sage are rooting for you.
Does anyone know how I could get the answers for the "More Reading Comprehension" question sets? Do you have to complete all 10 before you can check the answers?
This article is really hard... Does anyone attempt it?

I was browsing youtube in my daily routine to relax before the test when all of a sudden, I got hit with a deja vu moment. For those who remember the RC passage about the ultraviolet catastrophe:
Enjoy~
Hi everyone! I took the LSAT in February and got a 171. My goal was a 174, which is above the medians at the schools I want to apply to, but I was still happy. I was going to take it again in April but my scores went down so I ghosted the test. I haven't studied since. In my practice tests, my average was 172, but I realized that each test I got 7-8 questions wrong, and sometimes I was lucky and that was a 175 or I was unlucky and it was below 170. Does that mean I never really improved? How do I get to a place of consistently scoring less than 7-8 questions wrong per test? Or have I reached my limit? How did people break out of a score they were stuck at? Especially when there is no pattern in the questions I am getting wrong. Thanks! Hope everyone is doing well!
Hello,
How did you guys translate question 9 in the quiz to lawgic? I read the sentence like this "without a will testifying the transferal (WTT), the state of California will auction the properties (AP)." /WTT --------> AP
I am bit confused about the translation in the lesson. The two ideas selected in the video are "will testifying transferal (WTT)" and "California has no choice (/CC) ." /WTT --------> /CC or CC --------------> WTT. If I were to approach this question mechanically, this makes sense. But what is the sentence actually saying? The confusing bit for me is what the CC here means when you take the contrapositive (California has choice---- to do what?).
Any thoughts? Thanks

I don't know why but I always struggle with Flaw questions and get 50% of them wrong all the time. It's just not clicking! Does anyone have any tips that worked for them? Anything would be appreciated.
Hi there, if we are to solve each question within 1.3 min, is it realistic to always map out the conditional relationships. Do you have any tips to help scheme out the relationships mentally and fast? I find mapping out stuff is really a time sink. 😔😭
Thanks!
Wanted to see if anyone had advice on tackling the "newer" RC. I used to average -3/4 for the section, but since I have been taking the more modern exams, I have been getting 7-9 wrong.
With ~2 weeks left till the exam, anyone have any advice they would recommend for adjusting to the harder RC?
Thank you!
Hello! So I’m doing the Premium course and I just completed the weakening and strengthen question types. I got the majority of questions wrong during the explanation portion where there’s a sample question and JY goes through it. Usually I pause the video, try to answer it, then look to see why I got it right or why I got it wrong. The problem is on these W/S questions I got the majority of all of them wrong.
My question is, should I start to do the timed questions at the end of the chapter to complete the portion or should I go over it all over again from the beginning or should I try to use a different method to attack these question types? I keep trying to use this Goku method where you don’t attack the premise or conclusion and you try to focus on the support but I feel like that method is arbitrary and ambiguous because the support can imply many different options. Or should I just give up since I have been studying for 6 months now (Khan Academy and powerscore) and should find a new career choice... lol I’m kidding.
Thanks!
Can someone please explain to me how they arrived at the answer to this evaluate logical reasoning question?

Hey guys,
I was just looking for some specific PTs, mainly the newer ones, that are available for download and discovered that Cambridge is still licensed to sell PDFs of every PT. They also have some awesome Bundles including one for all Logic Games from PTs 1-70 for $90 (instead of $295 for purchasing them separately). If you don't need all of those but want to do JY's method for the games using PTs 1-35/38 they also have a bundle for that, which is only $42.
Just wanted to share this since I was driving myself crazy using the copy machine every time I wanted to make extra copies for a game from one of the 10 Actuals books I have, which incidentally don't include PTs 1-6, 8 or 17.
Hope this helps!
Happy studies :)
