LSAT

I just started the practice only part of my plan. For timing what should I put.
Hi, is there a way to stop my keyboard from popping up and attempting to type anytime I attempt to highlight or just click on the stimulus accidentally?
Hey yall i need some advice for the October LSAT. My ideal score is a 163 and my recent PT was a 154 on PT140 with a BR of 168 and my highest untimed section was a 21/25 PT138S3 averaging around 8-7 questions wrong untimed and timed on LR and anywhere from 5-12 wrong on RC. If there's any advice that can help bridge the gap between timed and untimed it would be really appreciated 🙏.
I'm practice testing within my goal range (low-mid170s). However, for personal reasons I've not been studying to the best of my ability and still have some concerns (sometimes rushing near the end of sections, occasionally having questions that I don't fully understand which I work through via to an the process of elimination.) I maybe would do well enough in September but would feel like I am setting myself up for success more by taking it in October ( I am currently registered for both). HOWEVER, I'm worried that by only taking the October test I would be putting myself in a tough situation timing wise. If I get a score I'm happy with in Oct I would just submit my application materials, but if I get a score I'm unhappy with, that would put me in a sticky situation for applying this cycle. Also this is complicated by the fact that I already took the LSAT last year and got a decent score (167) but not one I am content with. So with this context in mind, some possible options are:
Take the September test, get a score that I'm happy with and apply
Take the September test, get a score that I'm unhappy with and take October (which would put me at 3 takes)
Cancel September and only take October. Get a score that I'm happy with and apply.
Cancel September and only take October. Get a score that I'm unhappy with and have to decide what to do next.
It feels silly to put off taking it until October when I'm testing relatively well, but I think the lack of confidence is making me consider it. Would love some advice (sorry for the length of this post!)
Hi everyone, I took the August 2026 LSAT and got a 158. I am a bit disappointed as my goal score is a 165+. My full timed PT's were averaging at about 158 going into the exam so I guess its not much of a shocker, but my BR's were in the low to mid 170's. My hope was that my adrenaline would kick in during the real thing and I'd magically get 165 LOL. I am signed up for the October LSAT, but am struggling significantly to know HOW to study. I don't want to waste my time doing drills en masse and not getting a good return on my time. I am wondering if it is possible to hire a tutor just to help me find my weaknesses and find a study technique that works best. However, I am limited on funds so I would just want an expert to help me devise a plan and a method, and not do ongoing tutoring. Is this a thing? Open to any suggestions as I am desparate and feeling so overwhelmed. Thanks in advance!
I’m looking for articles that are similar to the more abstract LSAT Reading Comprehension passages—especially ones on topics like feminism, art, literary criticism, or cultural theory.
Does anyone have recommendations for good sources to practice with? I’m mainly looking for material that matches the style and density of those harder LSAT passages.
Hello, I just got my august score and I got a 167 and this was my third attempt. My question is my target score is a 170 so I would like to take it again but is it worth it to take the test a 4th time to potentially get a 170? I heard that taking the test 3 times or less is better if possible, so my question at the end of the day is, is it better to have 3 attempts on your record and a score of 167 or 4 attempts and (hopefully) a score of 169-170?
When I scheduled my September LSAT, I got a great time! I went on prometric and chose September 12th in Arizona. I chose 1:30 pm as my time, but it never said anything about time zones.
I just double checked on LSAC and it says I'm taking it at 3:30 ET which is 12:30 here in Arizona. It also says 1:30 Mountain time. There are TWO DIFFERENT MOUNTAIN TIMES (MDT and MST). Currently, AZ is 3 hours off of ET. In November, we'll only be 2 hours off.
I went on prometric and it tells me my testing location (which is AZ) and just says 1:30 (without a time zone). I'm very confused and OBVIOUSLY do not want to go to the testing location at the WRONG TIME. According to LSAC (3:30 ET), I take my test at 12:30. Prometric says I take my test at the AZ location at 1:30.
What do I do? Is there someone I should call? Is it just at 1:30, and LSAC is wrong?

I received a disappointing August score and signed up for the October test- I've been self-studying since February(ish). I'm looking to explore all possible options, one of them being the 4-week class that ends right before the October exam. I'm wondering if anyone has any strong recommendations for/against it? It's an investment and I already do have a coach at this point. Any thoughts?
Hi! I took my diagnostic test (no prep/practice/prior knowledge of the test) and got a 164. For people who had a similar diagnostic score, which strategies/tools were most effective for you? Thanks in advance for the advice!
Hi! I am feeling frustrated and confused because I got my August LSAT score back and I got a 158. My diagnostic was a 161 and I have seen a solid upward trajectory with my last two practice tests being 167s. On individual sections I typically get 170+. My goal score is a 170 which seems doable from a 167 but not a 158. Is anyone in a similar situation or has advice for moving forward? I appreciate any help. Thank you!
Overall my reading comp ability is solid, where i find I get tripped up is holding multiple opinions in my head at once. The trick questions that rely on you getting confused always get me. Any advice?
I RSVPd for today's zoom meeting with the Admissions Counselor but a conflict arose and I was no longer able to attend. Did any of you happen to attend and have any great insight on what you learned and would like to share? Thank you in advanced! So bummed I missed it.
Hey y’all, anyone know off rip the similarities in terms of LR Question types in PT 151 and PT 157? (Trying to figure out if these PTs had more of a certain Q type or na)
Yall think mindset is key to comprehending and thus answering correctly? For Both LR and RC
How to not fall alseep (I read the most boring —to me, sorry old photography lovers— passage about old photo techniques PT 139??) when a passage isn’t something I’m interested in and the passage is dense and or jargony?
Thank Youuuuu
Hey everyone, im currently trying to get to a consistent -5--6 across the test. I've got my LR down to a combined -3-4 across both sections, but currently struggling to get RC to -2 per the one section. Does anyone here have the inverse problem where they can get -1--2 on RC but struggle more with LR? Was thinking we could potentially join forces...
I have been studying for a while. I think I have literally done almost every q on 7sage. I am trying to keep the PTs as fresh as possible (meaning I saw them the longest ago). What do I do in the interim so I'm not repeating the same content?
So, I just took my first PT on Lawhub (Test 140). I am a bit confused about how to decipher my score. On the report it says Raw score: at the top with a number over 78. But, on the original teal screen after taking the test, where it shows the time it took, etc., it says a different raw score. I manually added the numbers in the 3 sections that were not thrown out and it represents the raw score out of 78 shown on the report. However, I don't want to decipher my baseline score wrong as there is a different number showing on the original teal screen.
Very confused! Has anyone had this issue?
what are you putting in your wrong answer journal to help you in your studying?
Curious to know if one has to pick a side out of the options given in the argumentative section of the exam. What if you have a different perspective from the options given, can you go with yours or you have to pick one from the options?
Apart from 7sage, does anyone recommend any particular platforms with a remote live class format for LSAT studying? I know that a lot of programs are thousands of dollars, and I'd love some advice from people who have actually taken these courses before dropping any additional money. Last fall, I took a TestMasters course and it brought my diagnostic up by 10 points, but had to stop mid-course due to some personal issues. I then joined 7sage and purchased tutoring, but haven't seen any increase in my score (160) since joining. I appreciate any/all advice. Thank you in advance!
Can someone help me with this template LR question. Its similar to an actual LSAT question I've taken before, but I changed details for purposes of sharing.
There is a new class at school. Students will voluntarily take the new class only if the school makes it mandatory. The school will make the new class mandatory only if students don't voluntarily take it.
What must be true (necessary assumption):
Students won't voluntarily adopt the new class
School won't make the new class mandatory
Other answer???
I am not sure what to do, I have a 169 PT average in the summer and now it went down to a 166 pt average from my recent PT. I scored a 158 and then a 161. In the 158 I had a 178 BR score, and then now I have a 166 BR. My average BR is a 173, and i scored a 170 back then, but I do not know what to do. I am so lost. Sorry I just hate this exam that sometimes i do not know if i am drowning or swimming
Hello! I am currently studying for the LSAT, I am hoping to write it sometime in the first quarter of 2027. I was thinking it would be great to get a group of people who may wanna meet up to hopefully share our frustrations, develop some resilience and hopefully kick this tests butt! If you dont know other people trying to go to Law school I found studying for this can be a lonely experience so maybe it could be a cool idea to get some study buddies on here!
