Just when I gain a bit of confidence this test humbles me every single time lol
I'm really glad J.Y. mentioned sidestepping the complexity of the argument. Thought I was getting ahead of myself with how formulaic some of the questions can be. I found the conclusion immediately then just skimmed the other answers. Hoping this strategy holds up.
Got all of these right so far. Experimented with speeding up my timing on this question and chose the correct answer without even fully processing the answer choice. Idk if that's good or bad but I'm starting to see how these questions become really cookie cutter.
May be a slow moment for me but the mention of identifying incorrect answer choices are premises really helped me in these lessons.
@mibuch Hang in there, I've been feeling the same way too. I think it'll click once we get further along in the LR curriculum.
This is my reminder that I need to slow down and question stem carefully. I diagrammed this correctly but answered opposite of what the stem was asking smh
Honestly... I can't diagram but I understand the logic. Running on prayers and vibes rn.
Was struggling with the concept at first but it clicked for me with the second skill builder. It's kind of intuitive in my opinion.
5/5. Definitely still early in the game but it's rewarding being able to quickly understand these concepts.
Is anyone else concerned about actually analyzing the arguments at this point? I found myself simply searching for indicators instead of actually analyzing the information presented in the last exercises.
My actual take was wrong but I got it right on BR. I rushed the actual take but also didn't spend a lot of time on BR. Gives me confidence that if I slow down I can definitely get tougher questions correct on this test.
