5/5 on medium difficulty way under time feels great. I went from detesting these questions to it actually becoming one of my better questions. I know I need to crank up the difficulty since i am getting the 5 star questions right about 50% of the time but ill take each little win i can get!
For anybody struggling with these I cannot recommend enough keeping in mind the advice JY laid out in the beginning of this module with mapping out the argument structure. Once you can identify how things chain up it really doesn't matter if you understand exactly what the argument is saying because you can see the chain and see if an answer maps on to the stimulus.
Got this right under time target and was expecting this to be a 3 star question but it was actually a 5 that feels really good! Don't want to jinx it but i think the framework of these is starting to click its a lot of just pattern recognition and noticing which arguments have the similar flaw or exhibit the same logical reasoning pattern that first lesson helped so much.
these have been my least favorite so far next to SA questions but on the brightside I am improving. the first question i got right via BR, the second i had right but then talked myself into A, and this one I got right just over target time on first try. The strategy of POE and then deep diving has been great also writing out certain parts of the argument has really helped!
these by far on my PT's have been my least favorite questions and have usually been skipped because of the time suck I feel on these but this actually really helped to clarify. Hopefully, I can really get this down and boost my score another few points
idk why i am finding RC passages like this challenging i understand what the passages are about but then somehow miss the small minute details that cost me points. but this passages question REALLY sucked lmao
I had A right away and thought it was right when i read it but then went through all the answer choices and convinced myself into D and then in BR selected C. I was just so confused by this stimulus and the subscribers argument. Think this question would just be an immediate skip on test day and come back if i have time so not gonna beat myself up on it just need to know to follow my gut and not overthink things.
I understand the reasoning of why C is right and that was my original choice but ended up switching it to E because of the conclusion being "not striking now" which in my mind implied that there would be a better time to strike which is why we need to save the funds. I guess thats my bad for assuming those things but i feel like those are fair assumptions and that there is a good case for E being the correct answer choice.
Got this right and really happy about it but damn it took me over 3 minutes to get the right answer. Those answers were kinda hard to decipher and only really got to E by breaking down each answer choice and eliminating
slowly starting to get better at these. I have got the last few correct and although i may be over time target I am getting them right and that feels amazing! My biggest tip for those who are still struggling is writing out the conclusion/premises if you are lost and also negating the answer choices this has been such a huge help for me.
After really struggling with SA and NA questions I have found writing out the conclusion and then premises has helped me see more clearly and help find the assumption. This definitely takes up time but I am sure ill get quicker with time. On this one I wrote it out and thought C was right but talked myself into B but on Blind Review I negated C and realized it had to be correct. I really like this negation method has really helped me a ton.
This answer made so much sense that I wasted so much time on it because I felt like i had to be missing something but glad I stuck to my guns and got it right.
I can't stop talking myself out of the right answer... Idk why the logic clicks and then its gone as soon as i get to the trap answers and I talk myself out of the right answer.
these 5 star questions are so demoralizing lmao. I almost feel like there is no point in even attempting because the right answer 9/10 makes no sense to me and then the "trap" answer choice has a good explanation on how it could be the right answer. Idk I must be missing something I just have to keep trying i guess
I swear on half of these tough questions I have the right answer and then change it to the trap answer. I can't figure out why i keep talking myself out of the right answer:(
well at least i got the easiest questions right....
After getting beat up again I finally got another one right. I feel like some of these i just intuitively get and other i just cant seem to grasp and mapping/writing out will just take too long on the actual test. Gonna have to really work on this section so that i can just really bridge the gap on test day without too much writing
finally got one right after getting my ass kicked by the last 4 questions feels nice but i am waiting to be humbled again
I see why D is correct but i just don't see how C is incorrect. i think its more than fair to assume if they used live models he could have just painted a self portrait and was just a model in the other painting. I am not sure what isn't clicking for me. I understand that if it was etiquette maybe that means he would follow it but also maybe he wouldn't just feels like both answer choices have fair assumptions. idk what i am just not understanding here
I hate math questions i aint got time to figure this out lmao definitely would guess on test day.
The thing that trips me up on this one is that it states that point of the survey was to improve so if they were receiving wrong information from their customers as stated in D then it would explain why their profits continued to decrease despite the survey as they were not improving what they needed. While in C, if they are sending surveys to clients who are dissatisfied and had complaints couldn't they use that info to improve and increase their profits??? I guess i just assumed too much on this one, like i can see a world where both C and D could be right.
this explanation makes so much sense. Idk why i was so lost during this but makes so much sense on review
I had this one all mapped out and thought that it had to be one or the other pretty much but didn't feel comfortable making that assumption. Felt like i was missing something so i ended up waiting to the end and then just ended up guessing. See why E was correct though.
I thought A was right but the fact that it said "qualified" made me pause and think i must be missing something because I could be "qualified" to do something but that doesn't mean I am going to do it "well" and just picked B because it seemed to be the next best answer. I see why its wrong but i feel like A misses the mark a bit imo
I had C and changed it to D because i falsely assumed that C was already apart of the stimulus. that trick really got. I see now that the conclusion is saying that we think that the waters are used as a nursery because they are still and then C adds yes that would be the reason as we know that waterbirds like to use still water for nurseries when available.
