Can someone explain the difference between negate sufficient and negate necessary? They seem very similar to me :/

I got tripped up on #5 because I read when and figured that only was irrelevant since when is a indicator for sufficiency so I flipped them

@AidanW yeah this is my thought process too, I think its right. I am sorta visualizing the circles in my head as I read these to try and understand them.

@Forest I agree, with such limited time per LR question, it seems that this might make it more difficult to answer quickly.

Breaking down the sentence is really good especially for conditional claims.

I found this one difficult to grasp in relation to the forward referentials since it is natural to think it relates back to something. A good way to see what it is the referent is to replace the suspected referential with what you think the referent is so you can see if the sentence makes sense.

4/5. They weren't tricky for me but, I messed up by reading the question stem wrong on Q2 and looked for the answer that was most supported by the facts. Rookie mistake :(

If a concession is presented in a stronger manner than the one example given, it could be difficult to see the conclusion. It will require more use on the tools given to find the premise and conclusion.

Dogs are known to wag their tail in an excited manner whenever they come to see a puppy of the same breed. Large groups of people have often wondered why the dogs only do this for dogs of the same breed and if it works for mixed breeds. A group of researchers have found the conclusion, as long as one breed is shared, the dog will wag its tail. When presented in a controlled study, golden doodles wagged their tail when they saw either golden retrievers, poodles, or a mix of both as puppies.

I got 5/5 however, one of my problems that I can fix is that I don't make note of sub conclusions often enough or do I utilize signal words. These can help me in the future when I face a tougher argument that isn't as easy to decipher.
