In defense of B, it targets the last sentence. Having other professors that get paid the same as the TAs shows that there are people in the same position as the TAs who aren’t there to fund their education.
The explanation for C is wrong. If you had been advertising to a group of 5 men and 5 women and the men never buy cologne, between 0 and half the people are buying your product. If you’re advertising to a group of 10 men, no one is ever buying your product. That explains why sales decreased no?
I'm confused as to what about the stimulus pointed to C as the right answer lmao
lmao i saw that E was different and clicked with with barely any review even tho its wrong FOR THE SAME REASONS AS B AND D for which i was like "yea obviously thats wrong the stim doesn't say anything about sufficiency" I switched from C to E because im a failure :(
HAHAHAHAH I CAUGHT THE ALWAYS -> ONLY IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF LMAOOOOOOOOO
@Chi. When the client says they should "reconsider" they do so hoping that they decide not to raise rates. That's what the client really wants.
I eliminated B because of the difference between spread and contract. If you're on a plane where no one has any illnesses, you're no more likely to contract and illness now as in 1985. Like I'm sure it's easy for the illness to spread, but if no one has any illnesses to begin with, than none will be contracted.
I can't be the only one that thinks that just because it was true at other companies dones't mean it will be true at his right??????????
I really hope this helps someone because it felt like a biblical revelation to me lol:
If Arab poets liked Aristotle's Poetics, it would make them want to read Homer.
If people wanted a Greek work badly enough, it would get translated into Arabic.
Homer was not translated.
Therefore, Arab poets probably didn't read the Poetics.
So the author's reasoning is:
Interested in Poetics -> Want to read Homer -> Demand for Homer -> Homer gets translated
But we know Homer did NOT get translated
So the author works backward and says:
probably no demand -> probably poets weren't interested in Poetics.
Here's the problem
What if people did want Homer, but the translators simply couldn't get a copy of Homer to translate?
That would completely screw up the argument. A fixes that by saying
"A number of medieval Arab translators possessed manuscripts of the Homeric epics in their original Greek." which means that they definitely HAD Homer, but no one wanted it.
@dbasalone I think the key for C is that they were used for display. Idk that's what turned me off to it
A weakens the argument because people with synesthesia are retards lmao
This question was just too long I forgot how multiple sclerosis worked lmao
bruh i thought d just meant the surveyors asked good questions at first lmao
@TeklaCo right but what if less police patrolling caused a reduction in accidents? Like yea maybe you'd expect it to be the opposite, but I just don't see how you can assume less police would cause more accidents.
comment section feels a little lonely here🙂
