Would anyone explain A and E please?
A: A statute should be written in a way that eliminates any appearance of its being inconsistent in its aims. --> "Patent law should be written in a way that eliminates Appearance of its being - Several Decades of monopoly guaranteed - inconsistent in its Aims - Benefit society -"
while E says
E: Societal Benefit always Exceeds its societal cost; means, Benefit > Cost. But the stimulus says "Since ... Cost > Benefit". As I've taught in courses, the negative of "Cost > Benefit" has to be "Benefit = or > cost" not 'Benefit > Cost'. If E was written as "If ... , it should be ... benefit always be Equal or Exceeds (instead of just exceeds only) .. cost."
Help please?
My case is, while doing blindreview, if I put a 'note' then freeze without any response.
Same here. I thought my PC, browser, or my internet. Re-connected internet, did some PC, registry cleaning stuffs but didn't work.
(added, I am using Edge. maybe it is a browser problem? Anyone using Chrome or Safari experience the same issue?)
I think most of the people didn't have a difficulty that I had. But just for someone (9%) who had a same difficulty what I had. Although I understand that C is correct, I didn't understand why B is not correct since I thought B can capture C, and if C is correct, B must be correct, too. Now I think I understand why B cannot be right answer. Here is my understanding. (maybe my understanding is still incorrect)
There must be a serious problem in Analytics. (C) It says this question is Score 120, "120, Score of students with a 50% chance of getting this right". (p1) 120 is the score when a task taker missed all questions. If one answers all 'A', means 1/5 corrects, then the one will get ~130. (p2).
hope any tutor finds flaws in my argument or, asking a correction. I got it wrong, and I feel terrible for the reason that I missed one with 120.
If A was "in spite of the difficulties encountered, at one time or another people have tried to domesticate each wild large mammal species (adding)* that seemed worth domesticating <--added" Then would it become another correct answer choice?
If 'so' in line 2 of the stim changes to 'for example', then will A be the right answer?
I got this question, but it took me 2:25 (+1:13). My problem was mostly to understand what they actually mean those answer choices from A to E. Will this be eventually better with practice? Any advice please?
Congratulations! I hope I can follow your journey one day soon.
