Doesn't parallel mean they never intersect or meet?

This feels like the exact opposite of what the passage is trying to say?? I was thrown off by the word parallel

Did anyone else feel like "Skepticism" was not a strong enough attitude... to me he's not just questioning or doubting it, he flat out denying and rejecting it.... I had C chosen and then last minute changed it to A and didn't know what chagrin meant.....

This question and the next seem to contradict...

1. All complete corridos have some lines in common VS

2. A corrido without a surviving despedida would probably still be identifiable as a corrido

I chose E at first, because he seems to be criticizing but at the same time saying it made more sense for their time.... he kept saying things like "although extreme.... quite typical" or "principles that are today regarded as bizarre" implying he could see why they were upheld in the past....

@sabby To be honest i agree here, to me that seems like continuous sound, but I guess we're making our own assumption that not being interrupted is continuous? Maybe he just meant not sudden or harsh interruptions but that does not necc mean continuous...

For number 5 I still think answer d is wrong.... because more eggs hatching does not mean that they will survive their environmental hazards.

what if a lot of eggs hatch and all get eaten still? C seems more correct because one possible way does not take away from almost impossible (not impossible)

For question 4, answer choice D.) it also includes is an elitist which to me makes it wrong... This is because he connects democracy and regard for high masses but anyone does not have to be an elitist.

@jennawiese I think it comes from a source attack but is not directly saying it because the lsat writers are trying to confused us.... so instead of saying attacking his past is irrelevant, they say this issue only regards the future (not the past - which relates to his past actions)
