i study classical studies so just a tidbit but the reference to tragedies is about plays. it's a genre of greek dramas. not actual tragedies that happened in ancient greek
cramming for the friday test lol but I'll be taking it in again in january if need be
this question was so intuitive to me and i guess it's because of that poli sci major lmao
i typically do the question first for these lecture videos before i watch the video (click the quick view at the top of the page under the blue border) then i pick my answer and check to see if im right (answer bar directly under the video) and i was so proud of myself for being able to anticipate the correct answer choice and getting it right
u know what gets into my head sometimes? seeing the length of the video. im thinking, if the video is rly long (8, 10+ minutes) the question must be harder so when im answering the question, im making it more difficult for myself because i think it's a harder question. but for this question, i purposefully didn't let myself see the time duration for this video and i answered the question faster than the target time.
it's rly the little things that screw with ur head with prepping for this exam
man, i've gotten so good at getting my answer choices down to two, between which one of them will be the right answer but i still struggle with getting the correct answer choice
i like saying okayyy...? for the wrong answers lol
i took way too long with this question only to change my answer to the wrong one at the end lol
THE CONFIDENCE I HAD ANSWERING THIS QUESTION!!! i don't think i've ever been so confident in an answer, EVER. im actually so proud of myself for this question
c....b....c...b
got it wrong LMAOOO
4/5 on medium difficulty. i needed these last two sections so bad after sufficient and necessary assumption questions brutalized me
i got the question right but "did not obtain" threw me for a loop for a slight second. such a weird phrase. i wonder why the test writers' didn't use "was not obtained"
4/5 on hard difficulty. thank u God!!!
i messed up the conclusion. unfortunate :(
i stopped studying for almost a week and used the powerscore bible to build some of my confidence back up
i swear i didnt see answer (c) when i did the question
for this question, i honestly just did not understand the stimulus
not quite. (d) says that there is no additional explanation for the university's shrinking applicant pool. however, if we use negation and negate this, it will say that "there are additional explanation(s) for the university's shrinking applicant pool." if there are additional explanations for the university's shrinking applicant pool, then the university president's explanation might not necessarily be true and increasing the tuition could do little to nothing to increasing the applicant pool.
however, (a) says that the proposed explanation for the decline in applications applies in this case. if we negate this and say that the proposed explanation for the decline in applications does not apply in this case, then the whole argument falls apart. the explanation doesn't make sense and the plan to increase the tuition would be reduant to increasing the applicant pool. this makes (a) a necessary assumption. for the increased tuition to increase the applicant pool, the explanation in the stimulus needs to apply to this specific case.
hope this makes some sense!
best feeling ever!
dude, i just did the following question after this and i came back to say thank you, thank you, thank you. insane, thank you so much!!
i got the answer right but i just used negation for this and the way i just sat back up cause it rly just clicked for me. i used poe to get the correct answer but i got too into my head with blind review. thank u sm!
lawgic was not working for me with this question so i just had to break down the stimulus in a way that i'd understand.
all her oil paintings are highly original, however, she didn't produce any highly original works until late into her career and few of her abstract works demonstrate much originality. this means that if she had produced no highly original works until late in her career (oil paintings) and few of her abstract works demonstrate originality, then her abstract works dominated the earlier part of her career and the oil paintings that came later don't make up most of her works.
i think this was a rly good example of when lawgic might be more of a detriment than helpful and i rly had to know when to pivot
there may be many other good arguments for why we should order ice cream
the text is missing the word "order" in this sentence
Can we fix this? Yes. Edited (A) asserting that a lack of evidence in favor of a view is proof that an opposing view is correct. The author does assert that there is a lack of evidence in favor of the view (the courthouse) and the author takes that to be proof that an opposing view (the shoe factory) is correct.
incorrect should be fixed to correct
