this is what it feels like arguing with ppl on twitter, i swear bc why did theodora come in with a whole new sentence?

lawgic was not working for me with this question so i just had to break down the stimulus in a way that i'd understand.
all her oil paintings are highly original, however, she didn't produce any highly original works until late into her career and few of her abstract works demonstrate much originality. this means that if she had produced no highly original works until late in her career (oil paintings) and few of her abstract works demonstrate originality, then her abstract works dominated the earlier part of her career and the oil paintings that came later don't make up most of her works.
i think this was a rly good example of when lawgic might be more of a detriment than helpful and i rly had to know when to pivot
i got the answer right but second-guessed myself on the blind review and this was such a beautiful explanation. thank youuu
this question was so intuitive to me and i guess it's because of that poli sci major lmao
i typically do the question first for these lecture videos before i watch the video (click the quick view at the top of the page under the blue border) then i pick my answer and check to see if im right (answer bar directly under the video) and i was so proud of myself for being able to anticipate the correct answer choice and getting it right
u know what gets into my head sometimes? seeing the length of the video. im thinking, if the video is rly long (8, 10+ minutes) the question must be harder so when im answering the question, im making it more difficult for myself because i think it's a harder question. but for this question, i purposefully didn't let myself see the time duration for this video and i answered the question faster than the target time.
it's rly the little things that screw with ur head with prepping for this exam
i needed this strengthen question. sa questions have sucked the life out of me in this section
did this question before watching the video and got the right answer bc even tho i know that sa questions are sub-strengthen questions, it just clicked to me that they're sub-strengthen questions.
feels like i just had a major breakthrough in case anyone cares
i hope this section knows that it has singlehandedly demoralized my studying this past week. something about getting five questions wrong in a row just makes me not want to open my laptop. L-O-L
man, i've gotten so good at getting my answer choices down to two, between which one of them will be the right answer but i still struggle with getting the correct answer choice
i like saying okayyy...? for the wrong answers lol
i was between a and d, chose d, then chose a then chose d -- God is gonna have to take the wheel at this point
i got this question right so i just want to explain my thought process to answer choice (d) in case anyone else finds it useful.
answer choice (d) says: education is not effective unless it leads to the development of insight
to change this into formal logical, i too (it leads to the development of insight) negated this and made it into the sufficient condition.
does not lead to the development of insight → education is not effective
now, onto the stimulus. i didn't care about the last line bc that was just context so i focused on the premises and conclusion.
p1: education in a traditional classroom is not a social process
p2: only social processes can develop students' insight
c: traditional classroom education is ineffective
because traditional classroom education is not a social process, it's excluded from the sect of social processes, operating outside the metaphorical bubble. since premise 2 told us that only social processes can develop students' insight and education in a traditional classroom is not a social process. this means that education in a traditional classroom can not develop students' insight, thus making education ineffective.
answer choice (d), among the other answer choices, is the only assumption that leads to this conclusion, making it the right answer.
hope this helps! i did a condensed version of this in my head then i broke it down after i did the question. i find that highlighting and identifying the premise and conclusion helps point me in the direction of where i want the logical assumption to lead me to. and remember that this is SA questions are sub-strengthen questions. ultimately, ur assumption should help strengthen the conclusion. also, take ur time with it. the try it sections help you hone the skills that will make u faster on the prep test, drills and eventually test day.
hopefully this went — i have news for u, j.y
i took way too long with this question only to change my answer to the wrong one at the end lol
chose the right answer and then second guessed myself into choosing the wrong one and watching the explanation video, im like, this makes so much sense? why do i second guess myself omgg
THE CONFIDENCE I HAD ANSWERING THIS QUESTION!!! i don't think i've ever been so confident in an answer, EVER. im actually so proud of myself for this question
c....b....c...b
got it wrong LMAOOO
4/5 on medium difficulty. i needed these last two sections so bad after sufficient and necessary assumption questions brutalized me
i got the question right but "did not obtain" threw me for a loop for a slight second. such a weird phrase. i wonder why the test writers' didn't use "was not obtained"
4/5 on hard difficulty. thank u God!!!
i messed up the conclusion. unfortunate :(
i swear i didnt see answer (c) when i did the question
for this question, i honestly just did not understand the stimulus
there may be many other good arguments for why we should order ice cream
the text is missing the word "order" in this sentence
Can we fix this? Yes. Edited (A) asserting that a lack of evidence in favor of a view is proof that an opposing view is correct. The author does assert that there is a lack of evidence in favor of the view (the courthouse) and the author takes that to be proof that an opposing view (the shoe factory) is correct.
incorrect should be fixed to correct
