@hazelverdin194
, what was the most significant thing you did that helped you with your score increase?
BR Calls! Also, keeping detailed analytics really helped me identify what I was having trouble with.
@nessak130467 I went from a 144 (yea that bad - DEC '14) to a 152 this past test... I think I can improve even more - is it worth taking once or twice more if "set" on going to Law School to get the highest score possible??
I actually took an extra year off to get a few more points in. If it helps: I do not regret it at all. I'm actually really glad I did it. But in the end, it is your decision.
I just didn't want to live life with regrets and constantly filling my head with "what ifs."
@bjphillips5431 Congrats, Hazel! It was fun to share a couple BR calls with you! Maybe we'll end up at the same law school :)
Also, how about that Rose Bowl!!
Yo! lol
This weekend was full of highs! That AMAZING Rose Bowl win and then grey day!
Definitely proud to be a Trojan. Please keep me updated on your app process! It would be cool to get together if we do end up somewhere close. 7sage alumni <3
@jhaldy10325 See y'all there! Congrats Hazel, I know you're going to kill it in school!
Thanks soooo much, Josh! You were a big part of my success!
@476 I wish you the best Hazel and congratulation.
Thank you so much, Nader! I enjoyed being on those calls with you. Congrats to you too!
Not sure if you're applying this year but keep me posted!
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to thank the 7Sage community for helping me through was has been the hardest undertaking in my academic career!
After countless hours of studying, BR calls, PTs, scoring (and sometimes tears and disappointment), I am happy to say that my LSAT journey is over!
I wish everyone here the best of luck on future LSATs and the admissions process.
I will be applying this cycle and I'm excited to see where my fellow 7Sagers will end up.
Who knows - maybe some of us might cross paths in law school!
Thanks for all the good times, ya'll!
Cheers,
Hazel
Thanks so much for hosting these! I am anxious to see you doing this very tough PT live!
Oh my god. That's crazy! But you should definitely look at the bright side. You have another chance to kill it that many others don't. If you did it once you can definitely do it again!
Best of luck on the retake.
Hi there! I see that Nov 2 the calendar has "SuperPrep II." What exactly are we doing with it?
I'm just asking because if I need to get the book, I should probably do it soon.
@nessak130467.k13.0 Me too
@hazelverdin194
! I didn't pay attention to the time change. If you want at the end we could go over the beginning questions.
Sounds good to me! I think I have only like one question prior to 18 (when I joined) but more than happy to go over yours with you.
Dang it. I didn't know that you guys moved the time for the Saturday BR call too. I missed 2 hours :( lol
The PST lyfe
I will see you guys Wed! Although I may be joining later than usual because of the new time + me being on the West Coast but I hope I can make it in time for some fun. (:
@judoist4rm818917 Hi Artak, I feel like we are in the exact same situation right now! I tried going through the really early PTs for the LG sections but i didn't feel like they were helpful because the games are so different from the recent PTs. I started working on PT 36's games and I've been doing the fool proof method but I have not tried BRing. Maybe I should try that out!
You should keep us updated on your progress ^_^
@twssmith644 It may be a Fake it til you Make it Strategy
Omg, totally hear you on that one @twssmith644. The only way I have been keeping positive in light of self-doubt is pretending like it's going to be okay and waiting for the freak-out to pass. We got this!!!
I too thought that a lawyer had to be aggressive, loud and extroverted. But I will agree with everyone on here in that there are all different types of personalities in the legal field.
I work at a law firm now and there are definitely a variety of personalities among practicing attorneys (even among litigators, which are thought of as the typical aggressive, non apologetic, my-way-or-the-highway kind of lawyers).
I wouldn't worry too much about your introverted tendencies (a lot of us are introverts). I would embrace it!
.
awww, this is so cute. lol
