I looked at the analysis for both questions, and in both, I had my answer and the correct answer narrowed down before picking the wrong choice. Can anyone here explain where I went wrong? For reference, I picked answer D for Q1 (PT121.S4.Q12) and I picked answer A for Q2 (PT124.S2.Q18). Thanks in advance :)

After watching the explanation video it makes total sense and I found myself finishing his sentences. For some reason, going through the questions by myself on this skill builder was confusing for me.
