I recently took PT25 and scored 138 under-timed condition ( i guess more than half the test because i ran out of time) and my BR was 156 and my aim score is 160. so i am confuse as to what does these scores show? does this mean i need to focus more on time? what can i do to bring my timed test up? also I plan to take the june test and i no longer have access to the CC because i got sick and forgot to pay before it expired. but i do have detailed notes from the CC and I do have copies of all the LSAT from PT 1-74 and i havent use any of the test from 26 and up. if anyone have any suggestion/methods on how i can improve my score i would love to hear them.

hey are you still looking @bonethugs521363
@aaronkeegan92975 thank you i am currently trying it out again before i watch the video. i will play around with it a bit
I am currently in my foolproof stage and I am starting to notice some of the games repeat when it comes to set up and even with rules but I am having lots of trouble finding a way to approach games that require you to use lines as a game broad setup. I normally read the game a few times then when I notice I can’t figure a way out to set it up i end up watching the explanation video: example game PT 18 game 3.
Help please.....What are some of your methods that help with games like these?
Also what are some methods to saving time when doing LG. Because I also notice that when I try to do a game in 5mins if I spend even just a few extra seconds on organizing the game broad I can’t get to all the question. And I rather be accurate than fast. But as we all know that won’t help me get anywhere if I’m not accurate and somewhat fast
Hey how far are you in your studying?
@williamjchun98 do you know where i can find his email? or do you have it?
What are things that can make my application stronger.
@katrakkade441 well hopefully i dont have to transfer because this will be the first time i take the lsat
@katrakkade441 I am applying to a school that I can pay out of pocket without a loan. But I do have intentions of transferring after my first year. I know people vote against it but transferring after a year will work out better for me as long as I make the grades. And I have no problem with paying full price for a school if it will put me at a higher chance of landing a job. And @leahbeuk911 thank you.. the school 75% is 155. I
I jus used the CAS gpa calculator on 7Sage to calculate my 3 transcripts ( freshmen year at one university, one summer class at a cc and the university where I got my degree) and my gpa came out to a 2.97 because I added an F from a class that I retook ( when I removed it my gpa was 3.0). What I would like to know is how is LSAC going to report my gpa? Are they going to put my actual gpa on the report along with their calculation of my gpa? Or is it just going to be that 2.9 gpa? Because I did graduate with cum laude and I was on the Dean list
Also if they are going to use just the 2.9 gpa what would you say is a good lsat score to get into a school that median ask for 3.3gpa and 155 lsat?
I’m curious though .. do students get hired from the internships they do during the summer?
@estoutenburg25267 she went Yale law and wants to get into corporate.
@aaronkeegan92975 I am actually from I’m NYC and so was my friend who went to Yale but it’s was hard for her. I moved to Miami for the cheaper price in schools because I knew I didn’t want to apply to a top law school. But I do plan to move back to NYC and do the bar there as well. And I do how that with the decline there will be more jobs for everyone. It’s so hard when you want something so bad and you work super hard for it just not to get it because there’s no opportunity.
what about those who come from top law schools and have yet to find a job, or has to settle for any job they get. For instance a year ago one of my family friend daughter graduated from yale at the top of her class and she is current doing volunteer work( to build more experience)because she cant get anything in a private law firm as an in house counsel. However For me i have to go to a school where my pockets can handle the price, plus the iffyness of getting a job after i go to a top law school scares me because if i come out and still no job im sure obama is not going to pay my loans and sallie mae dont play with her money.
Disclaimer: It doesn't matter if you are applying to a top law school or not and everyone opinion matter.
I had some free time yesterday so i had a conversation with a recent graduate from the school i am interested in going to for my law studies (UMiami) and she expressed to me that she and a few of her friends were having a hard time finding jobs or landing interviews (sports and entertainment law, corporate law etc) and they are all in the top 10% of their class. After the conversation i went onto BLS.gov to see what the job market for lawyers looked like and its a little discouraging to see that its only going to grow about 8% in the next few years. So i wanted to get everyone opinion on the whole "after law school" topic. maybe you all can even shed some light on this topic as i am a career changer and i would love to learn more about everyone plans as far as what you're planing on studying in law school and the job market on that particular filed.
@rahelaalam514 and @aburk3611 thank you so much. I will definitely go back and redo all the games i had trouble with and i will try out both your methods to see which one works for me so that ways i can start doing it with my current games.
this may be a stupid question , but I have been fool proofing games for about a month and i am up to pt 20, but i was wondering do i need to go back and do old games that i have done from the previous weeks? The way i have been doing the games are, First i start out doing the game with a stop watch record my time, then i would watch the video then do that game the next day, and if i get all the answers right after doing it under-timed condition i would move on to the next game. I do notice that i am improving and my speed is getting better but i dont want to skip a step.
i have the prep test just wanted a simpler way to drill but thank you @aburk3611
is there anyway that i can buy the drill pack and question bank for my LSAT starter course ?
@mrosa1210177 I would love join
Hey check your DM.. I sent you a link where you can get them
Yes I went to one school my freshmen year and transferred to the school I got my degree.. then I took one class at a different school in the summer during my undergrad @mma038827
does lsac need to get all 3 of my transcript before they calculate my gpa? I ask because I am having trouble getting one of my transcript at the moment.
Yes please can you DM me how it works please and how far you guys are @gregoryalexanderdevine723
@tocute1245520 I don’t know why people here think that you can’t ever get to something that you really want when it comes to this lsat test. My advice to you is forget what everyone say, don’t waste no time thinking about all those ifs and maybes only you know what you can do.. just study over time if you have to!! A few weeks ago someone from here told me I won’t get to my goal score by June for whatever reason and it’s not a smart idea to apply and wait another year but for me I knew I couldn’t wait another year nor did I want to. So I put in a few extra time without the CC (and I only had the starter) and the last 4 test I took were a few points pass my goal score. With that being said if you want it go get it ! I love when people tell me I can’t... there is no such thing as can’t for me realistic or not if you put in the hard work you’ll get it done .. a month gives you time to understand LR question type, improve in LG and even come up wit a test taking strategy . But honestly you best bet is figuring out which questions you stuck at and which ones you can improve in the time you have left and on the test skip all those questions you just don’t get and move on. Best of luck ! You got this !!
