Curriculum is great, but just going to echo what I have been seeing: give us more You Try's and let us see the passage up front, as well as the questions and answer choices. It helps with engagement

Is skipping over dashes to get he core of a sentence always a good idea? when should you or should not do it?

In my opinion, physically writing them down helps you grasp a more intuitive sense of the logic behind these questions. JY mentioned the more you do in depth analysis, the quicker it gets. I would just keep practicing these types of questions through writing them and down, and with time you should be able to do it in your head. At one point we had a thought out method for tying our shoes, but with time it became automatic. Same idea here

Any advice

Any advice or insight on breaking out of the high 150s low 160s? Last 5 PTs taken weekly have been 160, 162, 160, 158, and 158. Been going through the curriculum blind reviewing and reviewing PTs the next day. Also haven’t started studying reading comprehension nor do I review it during the review process of the test. Looking to take in September and trying to get 165+

Not so fast! Rather, it comes down more so with the connection between the premises and conclusion

Ask yourself "why is this answer wrong and why am I changing my decision"? if you cannot point to anything, I often go with my gut. As well, review wrong answers to see if this is recurring pattern; if you often switch to the wrong one you have a good gut, if youswitch to the right one after being stuck that is good reasoning

Cows are the the most widesread form of livestock in north america. Though they may not be the most optimal for farming and argiculture, it is not worth switching since it would be too costly, even if the alternative form of livestock may be more efficient

Completely read this wrong. I thought it meant that if you drink alcohol "on balance" in other words meaning a moderate amount, then it would be good. Not the overall benefits of alcohol.

To be honest I got rid of the most rule right off the hop, because it would be impossible to infer anything that must be true based off of a most relationship. Especially since there are no other most relationships in the stimulus

Is there any advice for getting better at those 4/5 difficulty questions? I have a tough time with them, and no matter how long I spend reading and re reading these questions it is hard for me to decipher between the answer choices, and what makes the right one right, and wrong ones wrong.

in my opinion, as long as you know what is a premise and what is the conclusion, that is the greatest takeaway. No need to get hung up in the details
