Hi y'all,

My current study partner and I are looking for a third person to join us for full-length PTs and BR sessions in-person.

We meet by the library at Bryant park Saturday mornings, take our PT, self-review, take a break and then BR as a group. Sessions are intense and last pretty much all day long (going from 10am-7/8pm or so). We're studying for the October & November exams and looking for another study partner committed to reaching a mastery-level understanding of this test, ideally someone already scoring in the165+ range under timed/BR conditions.

We review pretty thoroughly with the goal of extracting as many little lessons as we can from the questions.

Feel free to hmu to discuss further, if interested. Thanks! :)

I'm a full time LSAT student from Delaware, who recently finished the core curriculum. Today I took my first PT and scored a149. I am definitely very far from my goal, but whole-heartedly believe that through consistent practice I will get to my goal of a 165. I intend on taking the January 2020 LSAT. I am looking for a study buddy who is willing to blind review with me. I have access to all the PrepTests under the premium package (PT 36-58).Please reach out if you think this would be good fit for you. Thanks in advance!

Study buddy tool hasn't worked out too well for me. I'm in the South OC area (Mission Viejo) and would like to get a group (or find a buddy) together before the October test. I worked with a tutor and it was really beneficial to talk through difficult questions. I'm open to working on LR & RC, but I can help others with games if needed. Please comment or message me if you're interested.

After that September test, I will be retaking lol. Looking for a study partner to go over PTs and bounce ideas from 7Sage, bibles, trainer/loophole etc. I’ve been mostly self studying so I think it’s time to flesh out some solutions. I could do in person, ny/nj area or online!

DM if interested.

Hey 7sage community!!

Looking for people around the Boston area who are in the beginning of studying for their LSAT (I just started 2 weeks ago). Thinking about taking the January exam and wanted to get a group together to help one another study, stay focused, and motivate each other. Maybe even getting together once a week for study sessions! Hope to hear from those out there in the same boat!

Hey 7Sagers, I'm leading a few Blind Review calls for Reading Comprehension.

There will be four sessions total.

All sessions will be from 6:30pm - 9:30 pm ET. Please see detailed schedule below.

What happens in these sessions?

For RC, we'll read the passage together, paragraph by paragraph. I'll ask you to make low resolution summaries of each paragraph. We'll use those low res summaries to build higher resolution summaries. Then, we'll answer the questions together.

How should I prepare?

Have a clean, unmarked copy of the PT ready in front of you so we can read and answer the questions together. Please wear headphones and try to be in a quiet place.

About me: I have studied for LSAT for about a year. Initially scored in low 150s, and I scored 168 in the July test (I took the digital one). I am also preparing for the September test, so the tutor sessions will also be a good way for my own review. I can tutor all three sections (my current situation: RC -2 to -5; LG -0 to -1; LR -2 to -6). I have received much help and support from this community, and now I want to do sth to give back :)

Please DM me the area you want to improve and your availability. Since I am traveling between two different time zones (currently in +8 right now, and will be back to Central time soon), my schedule is a bit weird right now. So I can only schedule tutor sessions with people who fit my schedule at the moment (sorry guys!). I will reply with a scheduling thing if your schedule works

About communication: I can start to meet people in person if you are in Chicago after Sept 11th. For now, I will use Skype to do the sessions.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Update:

I have received many messages! Thanks so much for your trust!

Note on the messages: please include your current situation, the preparation you had and when you are going to take the test.

Also, I tend to use these sessions to discuss strategies, and specific questions, the hard ones that you cannot understand after BRing and watching JY's explanation. And I see these session as a mutual learning process :)

I have also received many messages regarding general study tips, and I have answered some. But I think the best way to discuss general study tips would be posting comments here, so that other people can also see them and keep discussing!

Again, thanks so much for trusting me, and I will reply to people who I see fit for my sessions and start to schedule them. I look forward to speaking to some of you. :) And good luck to all of you!

Another update: I have received more messages than I expected. Thanks for all of your messages! But it may take me a bit longer to respond, since I am also studying myself. So please don't worry if I don't respond right away. I will try to get to everyone ultimately. :)

I'm currently in the process of getting through the Core Curriculum, but should be done by mid to late September. So then is when I plan to start seriously PTing and blind reviewing exams to improve my score. If anyone is interested in going through PTs together that'd be great. I travel some for work depending on the week, but I'm always available for studying on the weekends. Let me know if any of you are interested. Thanks!

Hi all. To my dismay, I scored 4 points lower than my PT average in July. It is extremely helpful to me not only to blind review with folks, but to explain out loud why answer choices are wrong or right (learning by teaching, if you will).

Looking for someone who is scoring in the mid to high 160s and who specifically wants to focus on RC/LR. If anyone is open to partnering, I would love to be your study buddy! I study every night and am in Denver (mountain time). Please feel free to message me if you are interested!

Hey friends

I need someone to BR with! Or, we can form a group :)

It can be in the evenings on skype/imessage, or in person (if you are from mtl)

I am writing this september, and likely again in october or november

I need a 165~ to get into U of T

I last scored 152ish when I wrote, and am focusing on mastering my LR theory before I got back to doing PTs. So far, i am doing lots better!

Pros:

  • I have a vocab page/note page set up because I love words (I am 100% nerd) :)
  • I am v motivated and will keep us on track lol
  • We can look over one another's PS
  • I LOVEE LG but hate RC (Is this a pro? It is now)
  • I am sometimes funny
