IF YOU DON’T CLICK THIS LINK YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE BR GROUP

February BR Group Schedule: http://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/5520/february-test-takers-group-br-schedule-very-tentative

Note:

  • For the newbies: Add me on Skype, using handle dmlevine76 and PM your email for Google Hangout.
  • For the regulars: If for some reason you're not in the group conversation[s] already, just message me on Skype.
  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able; join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it.” Use your reasoning to win the argument.
  • These groups work best when folks from ALL stages of prep and with all different goals join in! Not just for "super-preppers" and definitely not just for the casual LSATer (does such a person exist?).
  • The only expectation anyone has for these calls is for you to have fun and ask questions as you desire. We are just a bunch of LSAT lovers who gather via Skype and intellectually slaughter each test.
  • June Test Takers! We’ve got 6 months, so let’s make them count by getting our fundamentals down!

    Here’s the schedule this week:

    June BR Group Schedule: http://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/6171/june-test-takers-group-br-schedule-updated

Note: these tests (PTs 29-35) are part of the 7Sage curriculum and, for all intents and purposes, are retakes. That being said, I think it’s a great way to build up our LSAT fluency by taking an actual PT without having to use the modern tests until we absolutely have to. Another way of thinking about this is we are essentially going to do BR groups of the 7Sage curriculum, something I know a lot of students have requested. Some people might disagree with me, but I don’t think it wouldn't be a waste of time or effort for someone who is still working through the curriculum to do this PT, BR it and then meet up for the call.

    HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Be sure to announce in the comments which group(s) you’re planning on attending.

Fine Print (NOTE: you all want to be lawyers; reading fine print is what lawyers do, so READ IT!)

  • WORKSHOP NOTES:

  • We are NOT going to use Skype for these sessions.
  • Instead, we are going to use GoToMeeting.
  • There is a space limit of 25 per session. This limitation is dictated by both GoToMeeting and the function of these workshops, which is interactivity. If we had more people on, the interaction would be scant, at best.
  • Approximately, one half hour before the the scheduled workshop will begin, a link will appear on the forums, inviting you into the workshop.
  • If you want to attend these sessions, you MUST click that link.
  • Here’s an FAQ on GoToMeeting.com: http://www.gotomeeting.com/meeting/online-meeting-support
  • Then, download the application (for your computer or mobile device).
  • Attendance will be on a “first come, first served” basis.
  • Once the workshop is full, it’s full. Nothing to be done.
  • Chances are, if you’re going to be late, there is a strong possibility you won’t make it in.
  • There may be recordings of interactive workshops--No guarantees.
  • If there is demand, we will repeat interactive workshops at different times.
  • And here's the link. Join NOW: Limited to the first 25 people. https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/742937805

There will be a recording available later this weekend. Instructions for obtaining it will follow.

  • We’re 3 days away people. We should celebrate our effort!

Celebrate? But the test is 3 days away?

I’m not saying it’s time to break open the bottle of Krug you’ve had saved for the past 4 years, but I think it’s important to celebrate the effort one takes independent of any sort of outcome. You’ve all worked so hard these past few days/weeks/months/years/decades/centuries/Millenia. It seems silly not to honor that effort before the actual LSAT Day. It also helps to make the actual LSAT Day less of just about "the most pivotal moment of my life" and more of just another preptest.

What should we talk about? Any thing you want. You can talk about how your mom still does your laundry if you want. But if you need things to talk about:

How has the LSAT prep process changed you?

What are you going to miss about LSAT prep?

What are you NOT going to miss about LSAT prep?

What’s your favorite J.Y. moment in your prep?

What LSAT question/passage/game is the bane of your existence?

What LSAT question/passage/game taught you the most?

What are you planning to do the night before the test?

What are you planning to do the morning of the test?

What are you planning to do AFTER the test?

But again, talk about whatever you want to talk about. The point is for people who’ve been part of a similar journey to get together to talk about that journey. Hope to see you there!

Hey y'all, looking to get a few people together (via Skype) to cover 1 PT every weekend leading up to the December 2015 LSAT. The sessions will be on either Saturdays or Sundays, and the time depends on where people are located. Being that there is enough pressure on us all, I'd like to get together a nonjudgmental, yet serious group of people together.

Be sure to announce in the comments which group(s) you’re planning on attending.

"No guys, really, it's D, I checked it."
  • ...for Group BR
