Hi All,

I started a study group and have a few participating members but some are taking the Nov test and as such will be moving on. I am currently scoring in the mid 160's consistently and do work full time but I work from home and for the most part it's flexible to some extent. I would like to find a group of like minded people who are taking the January or February test to meet weekly and cover one weekly PT and meet weekly to cover 2 LR sections and maybe one passage from RC. If you're interested please let me know! I can start a groupme chat to facilitate communication, just send me your email and download groupme chat if you don't already have it.

Best,

M

Hi guys, is anyone interested in being study partners for the Jan LSAT? I took the November LSAT and got a 168 (was PTing a lot higher but oh well I'll try again!). I'm a bit rusty because I haven't studied in a while but am confident I can pull this off in Jan. I'm thinking of doing BR calls/ discussions and sharing strategies and schedules just to stay motivated, because I've been having a hard time getting back into studying and I think this is a really helpful way to stay on track

Also - I'm usually on the east coast but am currently staying with family in Asia right now (and doing the Asia LSAT flex in Jan), but can be flexible with time zones!! My time zone is 10 hours and 30 mins ahead of eastern time

Let me know. Good luck!

Hello everyone,

I am Poornima. I am studying law in my home country (India). I am interested in giving LSAT and study JD in US as well as get settled there.

It's my first week on 7 sage. I am following the study schedules consistently. I am interested in giving LSAT in or after May, 21. I am aiming a high score. 170 and above.

Is there any good /inspiring words for a beginner? Any do's/don'ts etc rhat I should follow as a beginner? Any words of wisdom from scholars of LSAT?

I will be glad to get guided.

Thank you

Hi! Whoever is looking for a study group or a study partner, let me know if you're interested! I'll be taking the February LSAT. I'm averaging in the 150's right now. Some days are good, and some are bad lol. So I definitely want to be confident in only having good days

Hi, I hosted a group session last week where we went over Formal Logic in the LSAT, a new way to approach LR, and a full LR section! Thank you to everyone that showed up :)

I'm going to be hosting weekly group sessions (at least for the month of December), so this week, I hope to see you on 12/9 Wed 10PM EST. It should go on for around 1-1.5hrs, or so, and I'm going to be covering, roughly, the following topics:

  • Logic Games: A Systematic Approach
  • Taking Blind Review (and review in general!) a step further
  • Afterwards, I'll be going through an entire LR section, taking questions, and talking through my approach. If you want to follow along, please have PT21 S2 in hand.

Join the following zoom link @noon/12pm GMT+9, or 10PM EST!

    with password 686121

Conf Id 552 864 7080 also works with the same password. Thanks, and see you soon!

If you can't make the time, I'll try my best to schedule a second session, so please let me know.

    Hi 7sagers!

In this session we will be covering basically anything LSAT related you want! Just bring your questions and I'll (hopefully) have answers! Feel free to bring a specific LR, RC, or LG question and we'll go over them together. Or we can just talk about section strategy. Whatever you want to do!

I have gone through the 7sage CC twice, taken over 90% of the PTs out there, and scored a 173 on the November LSAT. My diagnostic was a 138. I've struggled immensely with this test, and I can show you how I overcame these obstacles.

In this session, we'll cover topics on:

    -Whatever you want!

A few additional things I want to mention so we can all get the most out of the session:

Please refrain from looking at the correct answer choices when we are going through problems. It is to your benefit to be unaware so you can learn!

Please make sure your microphone is on mute during the session, unless you are the person volunteering to help answer a question.

I will be asking for volunteers throughout the session. If you would like to volunteer, please type it in the chat box.

The session will last around two hours, questions unrelated to the topic at hand should be saved until the end.

If you learned something helpful, all I ask for payment is that you share the knowledge with others that could be struggling. After all, we rise by lifting others up.

Let me know if ya'll have any questions. Hope to see you there!

Chris Nguyen is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Hi there. I'm looking for a partner to meet a few times a week via Skype or Zoom. Ideally, the person will be scoring 160+ although I'm open to working with someone who is not there yet, as long as s/he has been prepping for while. I am in the Eastern time zone and evenings or nights work best for me. Send me a message if you are interested.

Hi there! I've now completed my three day pity party from my sad sad score on the November LSAT. Like some of you, I underperformed and got a low 150s score where I had been PTing in the low 160s. My goal is a 165. I'm strong in LG and need improvement in LR and I'm okay in RC.

I've been popping around different forums but decided to take the reins and form my own small group of folks (likely no more than about 10-12) who are testing in January. I would love a mix of folks who are PTing from anywhere in the 150s to the low 170s ( I'm really interested in our collective ability to both help one another learn and also teach/reflect back). I'd love to meet a minimum of twice a week (and we can discuss later how we want to structure).

Y'all, I want to start asap next week. We got seven weeks and I feel that we can all make the gains we desire - I know that I just need some help. My background is in producing and casting for the theater, so this will be a highly organized endeavor lol, and my priority is always ensuring effective communication. I'd like to move fairly quickly, so if you are interested, please DIRECT MESSAGE me, with the following information:

    (1) Email

    (2) Timezone

    (3) General weekly availability

    (4) Goal score

    (5) Strongest section:

    (6) Section that needs most improvement:

    (7) Favorite show that you are bingewatching now (I'm bingewatching a lot of anime!)

Once the group is set, I'll be sure to come back to this post and let folks know. Thank you in advance for reading and I look forward to working with you!

My PT average is roughly 168 over my past 7 PT's. I scored a 166 on the Nov flex and am aiming for 172+ on the January flex.

I usually do pretty well on LG/LR (-0 to -3) and around -5 to -8 on RC. I'd like to find a partner who's stronger on the RC side of things with similar scores otherwise.

I have most of my 60's to 80's left and will be doing 2 PT's a week from this range for the next 2-3weeks followed by 3 PT's a week thereafter until the Jan flex. I'd like to find a partner to compare BR's with via zoom or something for each PT if possible.

I made a similar post and didn't follow up about a two weeks ago with a lot of people because I took a hiatus in studying, but I promise I'll reach out this time!

    Cheers

    Hi everyone!

So, I am a re-taker, but have taken a few years away from the LSAT. I took it twice (little studying for the second attempt) and received a 154 both times. I'm shooting for the upper 160s-170s and would love an accountability/study buddy to keep each other accountable. I work full-time though completely remote thanks to COVID, but find most study time during the evening and/or on the weekends. If you're looking for something similar let me know!

    Best of luck to everyone!

I bombed the Nov. LSAT and I'm about to register for the January test. I've not used 7Sage before, so I'm looking for people to cram with over the next month and a half. I mean like daily prep once I get off work. I was scoring in the mid 160's and even low 170's a few times, but my score didn't reflect it at all.

Lets knock this test out of the park dude!

    Hi guys!

Reading Comprehension is the bane of my existence. Ugh. I just got really complacent - my diagnostic RC section was my highest, so I thought to myself: I mostly need to spend time on LR and LG. Totally overlooked improving RC and now here I am...

Thankfully, I've made huge gains on both LR and LG compared to when I first started studying, and I generally average -4 LR and -3 LG (-0 BR). Right now, I'm averaging around -7 on RC, but on a bad day that could be -10, on a good day -4. I really need to reduce that range.

I'm looking for those in the same boat (good LR/LG, weakest RC) so that maybe we could help keep each other accountable (we know how dreadful studying for RC is) and share tactics/strategy skills and boost morale. Looking to form an inclusive and welcoming group hyper-focused on improving RC. If anyone's interested and taking the Jan 2021 exam, please comment below or PM me! Thinking of doing Zoom sessions, maybe twice a week, and also focusing on the newer PTs i.e. 60-80s.

P.S. Plz only join if you intend to come to sessions focusing on RC!

I'm looking for a small group of people who can meet on 1-3 weekday mornings a week. I was thinking 9am-11am ET with the goal of going over a PT once a week and then maybe just having accountability the other days. I am currently at a low 160 and my goal is 165+. I'd prefer people with similar current/target scores. I'm strong at LR and RC but am really struggling on LG.

I've been studying for the past 10 months and have improved from a 145 to a 157. Upon finishing the core curriculum, I began taking PTs and blind reviewed as JY suggests. My issue is that I consistently score in the high 150s timed but also consistently score in the high 170 in BR. My biggest challenge by far is time management, which seems to mess up my flow and cause me to make significantly more unenforced errors. While working full-time at a law firm in NYC, I usually study 20 hours a week and take one PT every weekend. I hope to break into the 160 in the next few weeks.

If you are interested in joining a study group please DM me/comment below. If you are tutor or just want to reinforce the concepts you have learned by teaching them to someone else, please feel free to DM me. If you have experience as a tutor and also have successfully helped someone achieve a 170+, I would be open to paying for tutoring. Recommendations for tutors also welcome!

Hi all. I am looking for someone to review and go over pt's with about once a week. I took the November exam and scored a 161 and am shooting for a 165 for January. I study for a couple hours a day during the week and then take a full pt on Saturdays. I have completed 60-80 as pt's and am planning on working up from 81 as January approaches. My plan was to hopefully take the same pt's each weekend and then meet on zoom maybe on Monday of the following week. We could use the screen share feature and take turns going over our exam and talking through our wrong answers or thought processes. I think having someone explain their thoughts and process will be very helpful for me, and hopefully I could be of some help to you. If you think you would be interested in something like this, please comment or dm and we can talk further. I am planning on taking 81 on Saturday. Thanks so much!

    Dear All Future Test Takers,

I am trying to start a study group for the upcoming January 2021 LSAT Flex exam.

We are able to do it via Zoom call.

Let me know which days everyone is free and which works best for us so we can get started.

    Hi 7sagers!

For this session, we are having a guest speaker! @DINOSAUR is a 7sager with PTs averaging in the 170s. English was her foreign language. We have been study buddies for a few months now, and her strategies and approach has helped me immensely in understanding the LSAT - she's amazing! We are going to discuss her struggles, strategies, and advice to approach this test as a student who grew up speaking a foreign language. Although this webinar is geared more towards ESL students, I think it will be helpful for all students to attend (the LSAT is a foreign language to everyone, let's be real).

We'll be going over a passage from the June 2007 PT to see how she approaches the passage and how she learned to read complex grammar and hard sentences. It will be Friday, November 20th at 7pm EST. Please comment below if you're interested!

Let me know if ya'll have any questions. Hope to see you there!

Hi all, I took the November LSAT and scored a 161. I'd like to score a 165+ in January. I've PT'ed 168, 169 before so I know it's possible, I'm just not consistent. I am strong in LG and very weak in LR (and to an extent RC). If there's anybody out there weak in LG and strong in LR and RC that would like to study together for January, please let me know. We can help each other out. I'm really serious about getting my score up.
