Hi everyone, I'm looking for a study buddy anywhere in Canada! What I would like to do is the following:

  • message each other daily to keep our study schedules on track (currently finding myself slacking a bit)
  • discuss important dates for all Canadian universities that we want to apply to (and lsat dates)
  • Please let me know in the comments below!

    Thanks! :)

Hi I scored a 144 on the July LSAT flex with little to no studying. I'm scheduled to take the October LSAT and my goal score is a 155. If anybody is willing to either join me in a study group or be my tutor it'd be greatly appreciate! Willing to pay! Please get back to me, I need as much help as possible!

    Hey folks,

I'm scheduled for 8/30 at 4:20 pm...Looking for someone to bounce prep tests against for review. I just broke into the 160s after a 141 diagnostic in May (after COVID for 2 weeks and a full time job) so I've seen progress, but it's not consistent and I'm suffering in the same 2 areas: LR (flaw/parallel) and RC. LG is pretty consistent with -0~2 on regular and usually 0 on BR So I can help with that if someone needs feedback. I've taken the last 2 weeks off and the next 2 weeks so I'm aiming for that finish line.

Looking for someone who wants to keep it up on a daily basis with me and also wants an accountability buddy. I'm not delusional enough to believe I'll break 170s in the next 2 weeks, but a few points here and there and some consistency in scoring would be awesome. Don't get me wrong...I'm studying as if a 180 is possible, so expect that kind of commitment.

Who's hyped enough to finishing up these next 2 weeks?! Message me and get ready for most of your day to be filled with problem sets and PTs~~

I have created a groupme for daily blind review sessions.. we will be doing RC blind review every morning at 730 pst / 1030 est. We will be doing 1 rc passage per morning. At night we will do Lr 630 pst 930est.. we will break the lr blind reviews into 2 sessions questions 1-15 and 16-25/26 so that the sessions run about an hour tops each..allowing more time for the harder lr questions... if anyone would like to join the link is posted below.. hope to see all of you!

    Study Group?

    Hey all,

I'm trying to get together a group for studying via zoom/FaceTime and/or group chat for quick feedback on studying and questions.

I was scoring low 160s but finally broke 166 and 171. Wanted to study with people that are motivated and want to get their score as high as possible.

Comment or shoot me a message and let's see if we can work something out!

I am looking for a study buddy for the last days leading up to August exam.

I've been averaging about 172ish, though fluctuating a lot (over the past month, lowest score was 170 and highest was 180).

I'd really like to shave a few points off that and think having a partner to talk things through with might be beneficial.

About me: I am older than average (mid-30s), have taught at college-level, and like cats.

Send me a message if this sounds useful to you.

    -A.

    Hi 7Sagers -

There have been a couple posts/discussions about forming study groups. To take a concrete step in that direction, I'm writing this post to inform the community that I will be holding blind review sessions on the following dates, for the following PT's, over google meets:

    Tuesday 8/11 - PT 79

    Saturday 8/15 - PT 80

    Tuesday 8/18 - PT 88

    Saturday 8/22 - PT 89

I'm taking the August flex - am averaging around 170 right now but really trying to get it consistently into the 172-174 range. Strongest section right now is LR, with really variable performance on RC and LG.

During my last swing at the LSAT 2 years ago I found group blind review tremendously helpful, as verbalizing rationale for correct/incorrect answer choices helped reinforce the right logical processes, while attempting to defend the wrong answers often allowed me to catch and self-correct my logical errors, or otherwise have them elucidated by other members.

The process for each session is one person will read out their selected answers to each question, any deviations among other members will be recorded, and each question with a deviation will be discussed. We'll also discuss any questions without deviations but that any one of the group members flagged with uncertainty.

Sessions will be at 3PM PDT. If you're interested, please send me a DM with your email address so I can add you to the calendar invite.

To keep the groups small enough to remain productive, I'll post here when any one of the sessions gets 3 sign-ups, at which point it will be closed. Accordingly, please only sign-up if you have a definite intention of joining.

    Many thanks,

    Hari

    Hello all,

I'm looking to form/join a study group. The idea is to form a group(s) of 3-4 to go Blind Review sections together, discuss strategy on sections, and help ourselves find flaws and better methods forward.

We'd BR together on weekends via Zoom. I'm not dead-set on taking it in November but will definitely be taking it in January.

Either comment on the post or send me a direct message and we could start this upcoming Saturday/Sunday.

    Hello all!

I am very interested in having a study buddy or buddies for the November LSAT. If interested, please feel free to message me!

A little about my LSAT journey, strengths, and weaknesses:

Started studying back in 2017. Started with a 130, ended up only scoring highest 146 on the actual LSAT in college. Most of this was due to not giving myself enough time to actually understand everything and just rushing through the process. Fast forward to over a year later and I started studying again. I decided to do TFA (so teaching is currently my full time job). I just took the July flex and got a 156!!!!! Super excited for this score, but I want to get into the 160s (preferably 162+) due to wanting $$$ for schools.

I am entering my 3rd year teaching, so my job constraints may play a role on how much time I can give to the LSAT everyday, but

since I am off Saturdays (duh!) I typically take those days to study all day. I would want a partner who is the some boat as myself working full time, or someone who is understanding of this.

    Strengths/weaknesses:

I am excellent in games. Timed I usually vary from -1 to -5 (trying to currently FP LG 1-35 atm)

I am so-so on LR and RC. LR has gotten better (can do typically -7 timed). RC is for sure a toss-up. I am very well versed in government, criminal justice, social issues, and economics. So that is when I typically shine in RC. Science is for sure not my strong suit, and typically my biggest weakness in all of the LSAT.

Trying to tighten everything up and would love someone on a similar journey as myself! Like I said above, please just message if you are interested!

FYI: I am in Central timezone, just as a heads up if you are in another timezone!

Hi I'd like to meet with someone scoring around same as me (about 170-171) to study together. My schedule is pretty limited I have 7-8am EDT, sometimes 10-11am and some nights around 730pm.

The areas I'm working on are RC, flaw questions, NA, and testing with confidence.

    Please DM if interested :)

Hi 7sagers! I am planning to take October test, and I want to form a small study group of 2-3 people before the test for a better study experience. Currently I am scoring high 160s - low 170s, and my weakness is RC. I do better on LR and LG - if you need help on LR/LG but good at RC, we can help each other out (complementary skills are ideal but all are welcomed! Seriously LSAT is a beast and we'll come up with a better 'surviving strategy' if we work together!) I locate in east coast area and have fairly flexible schedule. Feel free to message me if you are interested!

    Hi! My name is Jordyn.

I am looking for people who would be interested in forming a study group. I am planning on taking the November test, I am thinking we could schedule to meet at least once a week and help each other learn and help motivate each other so we can all get the best score possible!

Right now I am averaging 160s, I am aiming for 170-172!

We can meet via zoom or facetime, whatever works!

    Hello!

I took the June LSAT flex and scored in the low 160's. I'm hoping to get a 167 or 168 in the October LSAT. Since I'm retaking, I want to try something a little different in my study plan, and I'm thinking a study group would be helpful!

I'm currently in Texas (central time). Let me know if you're interested and how we should start (Facebook, Zoom etc.)!

    Hi all!

I'm retaking for my third (and hopefully final!) time and I'm working on getting my score into the 160+ range. I've really struggled with holding myself accountable to studying in the past and honestly would just like a group of people to work/vent with to help through this crazy test. I do most of my studying in the evening and on the weekends and wanted to see if there's any interest in getting together some type of group to text/chat/check-in over the next few months. I'm not sure what the best platform would be but definitely open to suggestions or any other thoughts!

Does anybody want to create a small LSAT Vent group? This is something different than a study group; we wouldn't study topics or questions. Instead, we would:

  • Meet weekly on zoom for about 45 mins (10 min max for each person to give an update on their process, plus a little in-between time)
  • Be about four people
  • Check in about how LSAT studying is going, or anything else in the law school application process, whether good, bad, ugly
  • Complain as needed
  • Gloat as needed
  • Share personal progress goals; check in about how we did in meeting last week's goals (yay social pressure)
  • Create a whatsapp group for more daily gripes, accountability needs and/or celebrations
  • People could obviously plan study sessions from there if desired. But this space would not be centered on studying, but on simple camaraderie: an outlet for venting, for hold ourselves accountable to personal goals, for celebrating growth, for voicing fears and frustrations, and basically airing out any other LSAT related thoughts with people who are also going through the process.

Probably we should be in a similar boat: I am studying 5-6 days a week, 4-9 hours per day. Reply or message me!

Sometimes when getting stuck on questions it's just a matter of talking it out with someone but now I think my mom and sister are slightly over that. I was wondering if anyone would be up for hashing out tough problems together in hopes of learning more and studying in new ways. I was thinking we could set up a zoom call or something... Send me a message if this type of studying is helpful for you too.
