  • For the newbies: Add me on Skype, using handle dmlevine76 and PM your email for Google Hangout.
  • For the regulars: If for some reason you're not in the group conversation[s] already, just message me on Skype.
  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able; join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it."
  • These groups work best when folks from ALL stages of prep and with all different goals join in! Not just for "super-preppers" and definitely not just for the casual LSATer (does such a person exist?).
  • The only expectation anyone has for these calls is for you to have fun and ask questions as you desire. We are just a bunch of LSAT lovers who gather via Skype and intellectually slaughter each test.
  • Anyone currently in undergrad at UMKC and looking at going to law school there as well? I am about to start my final year of undergrad and I am currently studying for my October LSAT. About me: I am 32 years old and am a Marine Corps Veteran who is excited to become a father in February next year.

PT73 BR Tonight at 8pm ET

Well, well, well. About 2 months out and we're gonna BR us some PT73. Needless to say ...

NOTE: We are meeting at 8pm ET tonight. Not 8:30. Latecomers welcome! Gotta give the East Coast folks a break.

    Note on all groups

  • For the newbies: Add me on Skype, using handle nikkers625 .
  • For the regulars: Please let me know if you plan to join tonight's session and have not yet been added to the conversation.

  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So please do not check your answers beforehand :-) Or if you do, just try not to say things like "No, guys, I checked, it's D."

  • PLEASE ... Ask questions !!!! In so doing you are giving others the opportunity to uncover weaknesses in their own understanding, review fundamentals, and ultimately improve their own score. And you're giving yourself the opportunity to do the same. Wow, such harmonious learning experience.

  • I know. You're thinking about skipping out on BR groups this week. It's summer, you're having "fun," and October seems so far away. Well, it's not. Don't skip BR groups this week.

    Listen to the GIF!

Note: Weekday (Weds/Fri) calls now starting at 8PM ET. We haven't had many West Coasters with schedule restraints on recently and would like to give the East Coasters a break (since we've been on until nearly midnight for them recently).

Please also note: Saturday calls still start at 8PM ET!

    Wednesday, August 5th at 8PM ET: PT59

    Last PT in the 50's!

    (s)Friday, August 7th at 8PM ET: PT74

Frighteningly recent test.(/s) rescheduled for next Friday.

    LSATurday, August 8th at 8PM ET: PT60

  • December Test Takers! This is it! This is what you’ve all been waiting for! One last BR and then on Saturday, it’s game on!

My advice: taper down on effort. You don’t necessarily have to do nothing this week (especially LG. Use it or lose it), but this week should require less effort from you than the past 10 weeks have. In other words, don’t do 5 PTs this week. And if you can, don’t look at the score of any PTs you take this week. Confidence is so important for the LSAT, and you don’t want yours wrecked by one stupid score. Just take the PT and BR and then have fun discussing the test in a BR group. And that leads into the last piece of advice for this week: Have fun and remember this Saturday’s test is just PT 77. That’s it! Best of luck to all of you!

PT71 BR Tonight at 8:30pm ET

Guys, I am so sad to miss this one. Gotta pick some folks up at the airport. Make me less sad by enjoying PT71 BR in my absence. @jengibre will be there to kick it off. And several others will be there too. So you should be one of them.

  • Hello everyone! I’m working full-time and preparing for the LSAT, and I’m looking for study buddies. I’m mostly available for study sessions on weekends, and I’m ready to commit to focused, productive sessions. Is anyone in the are who might be interested in meeting up to study?

    Hello,

My name is Ken Kim. We are a group of Koreans and Korean-Americans planning to take the LSAT either this October or in a couple of years. We have members scoring from 160-175 either on the official test or practice tests. Some of us are committed full-time to the test while some of us are working at a company, law firm, etc. We meet on the following dates at the Gangnam station Exit 9 Wing Study Cafe.

    8:00 pm-11:00 pm, Wednesday

    2:00 pm-5:00 pm, Sunday

We usually meet and do questions from LR and RC. We match our answers and discuss why each one of us have chosen an answer we chose. The fee for joining the study is free other than paying for the studying cafe fee which is 1,900 KRW per person for each hour (5,700 KRW total).

If you are interested, please send me a message to my inbox. I will direct you further. Thanks!

Hey everyone! If you are juggling a busy schedule and mostly find time to study in the evenings, you are definitely not alone. And if you need accountability (like I do) you are more than welcome to join my silent LSAT accountability Zoom sessions!

We meet Monday through Friday from 7:30 PM to 9:45/10 PM EST, and it is a relaxed, no-pressure space to help stay on track and committed to our study goals.

A few of us from 7Sage are already participating, and it’s been a really helpful way to build consistency, even on the tougher days. Whether you drop in occasionally or make it a regular part of your routine, the space is open to you.

    You can register here:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

    June BR Group Schedule: http://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/6171/june-test-takers-group-br-schedule-updated

Note: PT 29 is part of the 7Sage curriculum and, for all intents and purposes, is a retake. That being said, I think it’s a great way to build up our LSAT fluency by taking an actual PT without having to use the modern tests until we absolutely have to. Another way of thinking about this is we are essentially going to do BR groups of the 7Sage curriculum, something I know a lot of students have requested. Some people might disagree with me, but I don’t think it wouldn't be a waste of time or effort for those who are still working through the curriculum to do this PT, BR it and then meet up for the call.

  • Hi! I am looking for a few folks in the Cambridge, Massachusetts area to study together in person for the August test. I am currently travelling but will be back in the area on July 27th. I am usually free after 5pm, some weekday mornings/afternoons, and weekends. I usually study at the Harvard coop bookstore, cafes in the area or yards on Harvard's campus. This year has been difficult for many people for a variety of reasons and I have had my personal struggles. I love online study groups, but I think I need more accountability/support in the last two weeks. If you're taking the test and would like to work together, please let me know! I am currently scoring within the 168-173 score range, with RC being my weakest section, but I am happy to work on other sections as well!

I'm seeking someone who I can study with and also who I can maybe help on the LSAT. I've scored from 164-174 on practice tests and I might be able to help someone who doesn't have access to professional tutoring/LSAT classes. I learn by explaining, so I think this would be helpful for me and for the other person. I started at a 158 and I've learned a lot to help me raise my score, I'd love to help someone else raise their score too.

I'd prefer a female study buddy because I'm a girl, but this isn't 100% necessary. I have trouble focusing in groups, so we would study 1-on-1 at a local coffee shop or library or something.
