Hi everyone,
I'm a retaker hoping to sit for the June test. I work full-time, but I'm usually able to devote around 2 hours of studying after work each day and then multiple hours (5 to 6) on both weekend days. Even just studying for the test again, I can see that after hours of studying, I'm getting a better command of the material than I had before.
The one problem that I've noticed and can't really understand how to fix is identifying why I got a problem wrong and knowing how to avoid the mistake in the future, speaking only really about Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning.
I'm looking for patterns (I know they're there!), but I can't seem to make sure I don't get an Inference question wrong on RC again on the next practice section, for example.
I know the strategy depends on the person, but In general, how do you go through your mistakes and what do you do to really understand what went wrong for a question? Sorry if this thread already exists, but any help would be appreciated!

June BR Group Schedule: http://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/6171/june-test-takers-group-br-schedule-updated
Note: PT 29 is part of the 7Sage curriculum and, for all intents and purposes, is a retake. That being said, I think it’s a great way to build up our LSAT fluency by taking an actual PT without having to use the modern tests until we absolutely have to. Another way of thinking about this is we are essentially going to do BR groups of the 7Sage curriculum, something I know a lot of students have requested. Some people might disagree with me, but I don’t think it wouldn't be a waste of time or effort for those who are still working through the curriculum to do this PT, BR it and then meet up for the call.
Note:
I need a bit more explanation and practice of chaining conditional statements. Are there additional resources here or has anyone found a good resource for that? Thanks!
Hi everyone,
As you may already know, the site went down yesterday, June 8th, at 3:20pm EDT and did not fully recover until 4:30pm EDT.
It was due to the introduction of a piece of third-party code into the website. That code had been working without issue on our Bar Prep site (7sage.com/mbe) for a few days. We decided to activate the same code for the LSAT site (7sage.com) but it unexpectedly swamped our database with 300x it's normal load. We noticed immediately and started trying to revert the change. However, the load on the database made it very hard to do so. We partially reverted it after about 25 minutes, and it wasn't fully reverted for another 45 minutes.
Here is a timeline of what happened:
3:20pm EDT - Site went down
3:20pm EDT - Problem is noticed and we start trying to fix it
3:45pm EDT - Changes are partially reverted on some servers and slow access is restored for some students
4:30pm EDT - Site fully restored for all students
We are so sorry for the outage! We know that preparing for the LSAT is stressful, and we hate any outage, even just for a minute, let alone for 70 minutes. Our deepest apologies.
If you have any questions, concerns, or issues please reach out to us at studentservice@7sage.com.
