I took the April test and scored 164, but was PT-ing in the high 160s. My goal is to score in the 168-174 range, but rushed to take the June test under unideal circumstances (I'm studying abroad and was not in an ideal testing environment) because the logic games is my best section. I scored 162 which I'm not happy with, and plan to retake in the fall -- any opinions on whether it would look worse to keep this lower score or cancel it? If I keep it, is it worth writing an addendum at all?

A: Hawthorne is unethical because he sold the influence to environmental interest group; there is no justification
M: Nope, he's not unethical because It's environmental interest group preventing pollution doing good to public.
Need help:
I kind of get why AC B is right but do not understand why D is wrong because how I also see the above is:
=>His gaining private benefit by selling unethical vs. His action somehow benefiting the public ethical
Can someone explain?
For anyone that wants to join an accountability group / discord server, the link is at the bottom. All LSAT goal scores are welcome, this is just a server for people who are trying to stay motivated while studying for the LSAT.
Hi everyone, I feel like I'm at an intersection in my LSAT studying journey and I need some advice!
So before we start here are some facts:
1- I only started studying for the LAST in the last 3 months.
2- English is my second language.
3- My undergrad was very technical & quantitative.
So early February I took a diagnostic test and scored 143. I tried to follow Khan Academy's curriculum, but it didn't feel structured enough for me, so I switched to 7Sage about two months ago. On average I'm putting around 8 hours a week into LSAT studying, and I'm planning to write the LSAT in August. My goal (although might be ambitious) is to score at least 170.
Two weeks into 7Sage and after I finished the foundation module, I took another PT and scored 149 & BR 151. Two weeks later, I was about 30% through the LR module, I took another PT and scored 156 and BR 158. This last weekend, I am a little over 60% through the LR module, I scored 153 and BR 162.
In RC, I'm facing the same issue like everyone else, TIME! I consistently find myself with only 1 min left for passage #4. However, for the three passages that I actually have enough time to read through. I'm scoring fairly well (I think). For example, my last PT I got 16 questions right and only 3 wrong, that's for the first three passages in the first RC section, and these are fairly consistent with the results of the other RC sections.
In LR, I find myself running out of time but because I know I have a terrible time management strategy of skipping harder questions so I end up spending 3+ mins on one question, and then not have time for the last 5 question in that section that I think I would have gotten, at least some of them right. Additionally, I found myself getting stagnant in my LR progress in the last few weeks.
My questions are:
1- Would it be wise to stop studying for LR for a bit and focus on RC? My reasoning is that I think there's a big room for improving my RC skills (considering I've never studied for it), and even a marginal improvement would boost my score a few points. Also, I'm hoping that a break from LR might help me get a fresh perspective when I return to it after two weeks.
2- Considering my tight timeline to write the LSAT, I was thinking of getting private tutoring in about a month from now to hopefully help me boost my score, do you think that's worth it? From the people who did get private tutors how was your experience?
3- Are my numbers good considering all the facts mentioned above? Is 170 an attainable goal for me? I know I need to improve my studying strategy and I need to put in more hours drilling and not just going through the curriculum. The question is, by how much do I need to increase the number of weekly studying hours in order to get to 170 by August!
If you made it this far, thank you and I hope my writing was comprehendible!
I am hoping someone else has or is experiencing this and could give some tips.
I have taken the LSAT twice and there has only been a ten point difference. Both times I have had a an anxiety attack.
I am preparing to retake it again in April, but I can’t sit down and study without being distracted or feeling anxious.
I am working on getting an accommodation before the exam, but in the meantime are there any tips so that I sit and study without feeling so anxious !??
I have never had this problem and kind of feeling defeated.
Does anyone want to join a study group in Korea for the October LSAT?
I am looking for people who are aiming for 175+ or 170+.
I'm considering both online and offline meetings (depending on the region of the members).

This question doesn't have an explanation, so here's my thought process.
Question Stem- Principle Question
Stimulus- Machines and tech alter our choices. (example). Clock altered our choices by allowing synch +. HOWEVER, clock also closed some doors. Living without clock is kinda impossible now.
So Machines and tech that alter our choices can have some downsides as well.
A. This makes sense, however, the use of "enslave" and "liberate" sounds really extreme. Keep for now.
B. No. The stimulus no where says what people should and shouldn't do.
C. That MAY be true, however, not what the stimulus is saying.
D. The stimulus does not weigh the pros and cons, so we don't know if it was worth our dependence or not.
E. "Most"??? We only know about one instance that made our life more synchronized and productive. There MAY be more machines. However, that is not within the scope of the premises, and therefore out.
Only answer remaining- A. Correct.

Hello, I have a recommender writing me a letter about me serving in the church and some other things, I only wanted to send this letter to Liberty University and Regent University as they are both faith based law schools, For my letter description should I put the two schools name or say "use for faith based law schools" I really want to make sure both law schools see that letter. Thanks for answering in advance
I am anxious to see my LSAC GPA, the 7sage calculator shows a substantial increase because of my community college grades. This new GPA opens up doors that were otherwise closed. I don't want to get my hopes up until I see the academic report. I don't plan on applying until October 2024. All I have sent are my transcripts could I still purchase CAS??
Hi everyone--just wondering if people have advice on how to improve with these problem types? I've found that I consistently underperform on these games and I'm not sure why--I think my main difficulty is maintaining all the rules and working within time, but generally I find that I get "stuck" with them more consistently than I do with grouping or regular "in/out" games. Thanks so much!
Hey everyone,
I'm wondering on what's your approach on working through the Core Curriculum (CC) which includes some Practice Sets and then doing Extra Drills (making custom Drills on Problem Sets page). Specifically:
What is your weekly schedule like? While this is subjective, I am trying to understand what the balance of doing CC Topics, Practice Sets and extra Drills (if any) is for everyone.
Do you complete the week's assigned CC topics including all Problem Sets or leave some sets behind to come back say after finishing the CC?
When Doing the Problem sets after a CC topic (or even when doing extra Drills), what is your approach in regards to timing? I.E. Are you doing them in standard timing, or give yourself more time or do it in Untimed mode.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Few facts:
Taking the September test next week [remotely] and I have been doing all my studying using my monitor and magic trackpad, I know the monitor will have to go on test day, but I scoured LSAC and Prometric's websites to see if a bluetooth mouse is allowed or not, the interest seems to indicate its fine but most answers are a few years old, so I'm unclear if policies have changed with the times or the new proctoring server.
Any guidance would be super helpful!
Hi all! I have been doing well with the concepts behind how to weaken an argument. Don't attack the premise or conclusion, rather thin out and weaken the support structure. However, I seem to get it on the first round but in my BR I end up falling for the trap answers and just changing my course of reasoning. Helppp!!! Any and all tips are welcome!
I thought that it was irrelevant, and therefore did not "support" additionally the paleontologist's conclusion.

LG was by far my worst section (-17 on cold diagnostic), and now that is at a -6. I was planning on finishing LG, but these "in-out" games seem to rely on previous lessons in LR (I assume), is it time to pivot and do LR then come back to LG?
Also, how often do these pop up? I've done 3 PTs and never had one, just seq, seq twist, and grouping.
I've noticed in my drills (specifically for LR) I will choose the right answer in under a minute for logical reasoning, but then I will sit on it for AT LEAST another 30 seconds to a minute and waste time confirming it is actually right. How do I get out of this spiral? How were you able to trust your "gut"/ our lessons.
Thanks!
Hey everyone! I am hosting LR Kahoot tonight and LR jeopardy on Sunday night for anyone who wants to come join. We will also be hosting more in the future. Comment your discord and I'll add you to the group.
Where can I find the breakdown of the test by question type? I'd like to use this to prioritize which question types I spend the most time studying. Apologies if the answer to this can already be found elsewhere

I dont understand this question. I thought the flaw was making a generalization about one characteristic and placing the characteristic as a whole. Why isnt that right

If there are any groups, or individuals, interested, I am looking for a study group to join/start. I have been studying solo for a while and I am taking the upcoming August LSAT.
Again, if anyone is interested, just let me know.
Thank you!
Hi all! Join me Friday night for timed sections and blind review as a group. Starts at 7:30 Central Time.
stimulus :
"There can be a known known only if theres a known unknown, but there can never be an unknown unknown without a known unknown. Thus, every unknown unknown which is known is actually a known unknown which is unknown."
the conclusion above follows logically if which one of the following is assumed?
the content of this question is inspired by the "Rumsfeld Matrix." What would be a sufficient assumption for this question? Is this a hard question or did you find it on the easier end of SA questions?
Hey everone, I just register for the in-person 7Sage course, anyone taking it?
This is my first time of taking LSAT. I chose to take the test at a test centre, but right now I can't find a test location in Canada on the Prometric website. Could anyone explain the reason?
