Hey guys, so I graduated undergrad about 2 years ago, and a majority of my classes ended up being online at the time due to Covid, although I have already emailed a few Professors I had in person asking if they would be willing to write me one, I have gotten denied. At this point I feel really stuck and Im not sure what to do. I could ask an old boss but I have only worked retail jobs during my gap year or didnt work at all. Any advice? Is it possible to apply without any letters? I know its a stretch but im freaking out.

I’ve been stuck studying the LSAT for about 9 months now. I wasn’t preforming well the first 6 with the programs had so I switched to 7sage I’ve been PT’ing in the mid- high 140’s and definitely seen some improvement. However my goal is to break 150’s and apply in the fall. What are some tips/tricks yall have used to get you over that time edge? I have already registered for October and I plan on having that be my last exam since I’ll be working/studying for other exams.

Another concern of mine is this exam and being admitted. I’m not shooting for the stars and the schools I have are in the T100 region. I have all my other credentials in line such as a high gpa (Accounting 3.9), great LOR, and a lot of internship experience. The calculator seems to think I have a decent chance lol but was wondering if anyone has insight? Thanks.

I feel like I am not understanding fully how to properly utilize the wrong answer journal. I dont know if this makes sense but I do not see how I will improve with it nor do I feel I know what to put on the "How can I change my process to do better on these in the future?" portion. I was hoping someone could explain to me and possible give me an example of how it has worked for them? Thank you so much!!

I have an old GRE score from June 2021 that was required to enter into a grad program (just had to take it, score didnt matter). that being said the score is kinda abysmal. do I have to report it? esp since my lsat scores are recent (sept & nov of this year)

Is there any way to look at analytics of both obsolete tests and the new format on one graph? I just took my first Preptest under the new format and now I only see the modern preptest version, whereas I've taken like 12 preptests in the obsolete version #help

I got the answer right by process of elmination, but didn't understand the argument, more specifically, I don't see where the premise and conclusion are.

I thought the conclusion was: adolescence the percentage of boys with asthma is about he same as the percentage of girls with asthma.

And the premise being: because a larger number of girls develop asthma in early adolescence. (Doesn't "because" indicate premise)?

According to others, apperently the argument is saying:

Support: the percentage of adolescent boys with asthma is about the same as the percentage of adolescents girls with asthma.

Conclusion: number of adolescent boys with asthma is equal to number the number of adolescent girls with asthma

Where does it talk about about numbers of boys and girls hacing asthma being the same? Why is the conclusion not about percentages.

Can someone clear up why this is?

Is there a conditional and set logic drill so that I could apply the things that I am still learning. I went through the groups and I want to hone in my skills rather than just do 5 questions and be done with it. I have not taken any prep tests as I am saving it for the end of the course. I am currently working from the chains until the rest of the course section. Is there a place to practice these skills without affecting my progress on the actual questions on prep tests.

The stem reads "The passage suggests that Taruskin's position commits him to which one of the following views?" I'm having trouble understanding why AC D is wrong here. I selected AC D because in lines 6-7 Taruskin explicitly states that high art was produced by and for elites. JY's reasoning as to why AC D is incorrect is just that Taruskin never mentions that the artists are themselves part of the elite class but this just doesn't seem to be true? I get why AC C is right. Does this question hinge on the use of the word suggests in the stem? That it can't be explicitly stated but must instead be implied? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I skip around passages from easiest to hardest. typically, at the 3rd passage I start comprehending the passage less than if I were doing this passage isolated to the rest in the form of a drill . I assume the issue is because I have trouble shifting focus from passage to passage. As a result, I find myself not being able to complete 4-6 questions because I try to keep understand the passage after the initial read to reference those questions. Does anyone have any advice to overcome this> Thanks.

Hi, so I have a Wrong Answer Journal and I now have around 162 questions that I have jotted down for LR

I’m wondering how I can go about efficiently redoing these questions being that there is soo many other questions I have not done yet that I may even get wrong after a PT.

I'm just overwhelmed with trying to redo them and getting them right the next go around. And the more drills and PT I do the more I add creating a backlog. Any tips?

I am in a strange situation. I have a decent GPA and LSAT score, but I am only applying to in-state schools, all which happen to be pretty competitive. So, my GPA is a 3.77 and my LSAT is a 156. Here are the stats for the school I am applying to:

Median GPA 3.87 (25th and 75th percentile between 3.70 and 3.95) And Median LSAT 165 (25th and 75th percentile between 161 and 167)

I applied last year with roughly the same scores, slightly lower GPA and an LSAT of 155, and I was waitlisted and eventually not admitted. I had a really strong personal statement and resume, which I think helped compensate for my scores. Anyways, reapplying this year with my 156 (which came out today, super bummer on this.)

Anyways, all to say, should I write an addendum for my 156? I think my reasoning would just be lack of resources to low-income students and within my specific university. For some background, I aged out of foster care and have been funding my legal journey on my own. I also own my own home (I am 23 years old), which is super expensive and the reason I cannot devote more money to LSAT resources or applying to out of state schools.

What now? Addendum? Not apply this year at all and start studying for next year? Desperately in need of advice. Thank you all! And I hope the best for all of you in your legal journeys!

Is there any way we can reset the drill questions we have completed in the past but still save our completed prep tests? I want to redo questions ive done a long time ago since I dont have too many fresh prep tests left but the only way I can do this is if I reset my completed prep tests too and I dont want to do that. If this isnt possible, can an option be implemented to allow for this.

Worst part about being up and at 'em at 8 am is that I have to wait 2 WHOLE HOURS before live classes start :( Like what do i even do with myself???

Hello, everyone. I am studying heavily for the LSAT and want to link up with anyone else who is gunning for the June 3rd exam. My ultimate goal right now is to attend the most prestigious school I can get into, and what I am really hoping to do is connect with even just one person who shares this mentality. It is less important for me what that school is for you, and more important that you are studying for the LSAT with that goal in mind. I know there are many reasons to attend law school and many reasons NOT to adhere to the logic I list above when pursuing law school. Regardless, for my own reasons, this is my mentality approaching school and is the mentality I am seeking to develop in community with any others who share it. I appreciate everyone's respect of that.

In my mind, our meetings would be less about studying itself and more about just getting together once a week (or however many times) at a public location (coffee shop, restaurant, etc) to discuss our situations and connect over shared goals. I would be open to taking full, timed PTs on weekends together, but really I am just looking for some accountability and competition.

What I find really helpful in learning is by teaching others. This forces me to verbalize my thought process and consider questions that I may not have thought of. With that said, I would like to offer my explanations/insights to anyone that have specific questions or just want a new set of eyes in general.

I'm averaging around the 170 mark, and I'm looking for some ideas and variations for my drills. How many questions should I include in one drill? If I'm missing mostly the harder LR questions, should I do, say, repeated drills of 5 questions on "hard" mode (I personally found this to be kind of underwhelming, which is why I'm questioning if it's a good method.)?

I would also love to hear any drill-setups that others have found useful – things like the doing the first 15 questions of an LR section in 15 minutes, or targeting specific question-types. Any help would be really appreciated!

I am just starting my studies for the June 2014 LSAT. I have signed up for the Ultimate Course and am excited to begin. I do, however, have a question about the extent of the materials used in the "practice" sections. Are all LSATs from 1 - 35 used for the various drills? If not, does anyone have suggestions on which additional materials I should purchase to use for drilling the various sections?
