Study Group Name: Blind Reviewing as Group.
🔢 I'm currently scoring: 140+
📆 My planned test date: January 2024
📈 To study, I have been taking practice tests and using Josh Aldy's Time Management Performance Tracker .
🔑 My goals for this group are: to blind review with each other before viewing the results and then come to a consensus on the correct answer on the questions we have selected different answers for prior to grading.
🔍 We'll focus on: PT's 1-94, randomly selected
📚 We will meet in the 7Sage Discord - Study Group 1 on Mondays and Fridays at 9:30 AM CT
(Let me know if you have any suggestions)

Hello! I wanted to create a space where I could connect with others who are studying for the April 2024 LSAT.
🔢 I'm currently scoring: 145 from June 2007 PT (ouch!..)
📆 My planned test date: April 2024
📈 To study, I have been: Finishing the foundation lessons and moving on to Logical Reasoning section.
🔑 My goals for this group are: To hold each other accountable regarding our individual study schedules and to connect with others going through this process.
📚 When we'll meet and what we'll do: I’d like to have check-in’s where we can post if we successfully stayed on track with our individual study schedules and what our “highs & lows” were for that week.
Once we move into PT’s, we can share scores and connect further on how to increase our scores.
✅ How to join: Everyone is welcome! Everything will be posted here and accessible to all.
Hello!
I left my job in March 2023 due to a toxic work environment, and because I realized the specific legal field I was working in was not a good fit for me. It is now November, and I am still unemployed. I'm not sure if writing an addendum to explain this would be in my favour or not. I worry that it may be frowned upon that 1) I left a position without having secured another one, and 2) that my reason for leaving is not convincing enough.
I have done a few other things in the meantime, and have been looking for jobs in the field that I am passionate about, but I'm not sure if having any job, even one that I am not particularly passionate about is better than having no full-time job.
Any help/advice would be very appreciated :)
Thank you!
Hi there!
I am in search of a study buddy, preferably in the SF Bay Area. My ultimate goal score is a 170 but I would be more than happy to settle for a 165. My average score is 157 with my highest score being a 160 and lowest being a 155. I would love to find someone who has been scoring similarly so that we can hold each other accountable to study and discuss missed questions to reinforce the logic.
A bit about me, I work as a paralegal in immigration law. I plan on pursuing a Masters in Human Rights and Democratization in Europe before starting law school but I want to take the LSAT now since LG is my best section. My dream school is UT Austin and I have already decided to apply ED.
Please let me know if you would be interested in studying together. :)
I'm curious if anyone has been in a similar situation and can give me some color on how they went about successfully receiving accommodations.
I was diagnosed with a learning disability in elementary school and received testing accommodations (Time and a half) until I graduated High School. I did not elect to receive accommodations on standardized tests (SAT/AP/ACT). I did not elect to receive accommodations in college either. All I have is proof of my initial diagnosis (from elementary school) and an IEP (Individual Education Program) that states I am to be given accommodations for testing. There is no proof that these accommodations were continued throughout high school because all that was necessary for me to receive the accommodations was a written letter from my parents every year requesting that I still receive said accommodations.
I'm confident that I can have my General Practitioner fill out the necessary form and even write a letter that I should receive accommodations but I am not sure that along with my documentation from elementary school will be enough. Do I need a psychologist to do so? Will my Dr be enough? Will my lack of accommodations past high school disqualify me?
I called LSAC and they were rather unhelpful. All they told me to do was submit the proper documents and when I asked if what I have will be enough they told me to reference the website.
Anyone have any recommendations/advice on how I can sure up my chances of receiving accommodations? Kinda freaking out here.
When we take a 4-part test on 7SAGE and it calculates our score, does the platform automatically take the lower of the 2 LR scores, does it flip 50/50 between them, or does it already have one already programmed as the experimental?
Finding that my score falls a lot when I do poorly on one LR section but great on the other, which makes me think its automatically taking the lesser of the two LR sections.
Would love to have this clarified. Thanks!
Feel like many people are also in the same boat- I have also heard that this cycle's admissions has been extremely slow so I am wondering if applying later would hurt my chances. I think I landed mid 160s for November LSAT but I truly think I could get a 170 if I write in Jan. Thoughts?
I live in New York
How have you guys improved your logical reasoning sections what has worked I can't seem to get above a 150 but I want to get a 165 in the august lsat
In a 4 question LG drill I’m -2 easy. Throw an in out game and I’m useless.
Can someone point to the exact LR lessons I need to complete the in out games? Eventually I need to complete all of LR but I just want to knock out LG fully and just drill daily to keep the skills.
PrepTest 7 - Section 1 - Question 19
All the answers seem could be true IDK HOW THE ANSWER IS THE ANSWER??????
Admin Note: Edited title. For LR questions, please use the format: "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of the question."
Can someone please provide a link that facilitates access to the January 2024 Crystal Ball Predictions? Unfortunately, I missed the date.
Do you think it's best to meet with admission before or after submitting your application?
As a splitter, I am curious to see if it makes sense to bring that up before or send my app and schedule my meeting for the day after.
Hello everyone!
When I started with 7Sage I recall making a LSAC account and perhaps paying some additional money through 7Sage to LSAC get access to official test questions and such. However when I now attempt to log in to my LSAC account to link it to my 7Sage account, it tell me that there is no account associated with my email address.
Anyone have a solution or any insight?
Thanks!
Could anyone explain how does one reach answer C in regards to the final sentence, "none except the most virtuous deserves praise" ? Would really appreciate if one had the answers to this.

OOF. I decided since I have no clue if my score is going to be worthwhile, I am fully committing myself to the January LSAT. I have been fortunate to not have a job and am starting a position (finally the degree is paying off after 5 months of searching).
Not sure if anybody else is in the same boat, but that score release date being a day before January stresses me out. Also on a totally selfish note... February is my birthday month.... so I want to be done LOL.
At least my writing is officially accepted and over with. Shout out to my professor in college for giving exams sooooooo similar to the format that I just needed a refresh & overview rather than intensive study sessions.
This past weekend, I took the Nov LSAT (first time). I'm also planning to take the Jan LSAT but not sure what my study schedule should look like leading up to the test. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
So I answered D, and it was incorrect. Correct answer is C, can anyone please provide help as to why this answer was incorrect and why C was correct?
#help

Guys, I am freaking out. I took the Nov. 9th LSAT at a test center, and used my military ID with no issue. It is my only photo ID that has my married name on it, since I just legally changed my name a few months ago. Since I didn't actually test virtually, I wasn't aware that I can't take a picture of my military ID that has my legal name, so I had to submit a picture of my license for writing-- which has my maiden name on it. I created the account with my maiden name (literally in my username), and since I am in another state for military for another year, it is almost impossible for me to go back to my home state just to change my dl. My passport says my maiden name too, since I got it in 2019; my passport and license don't even expire for several years. I emailed LSAC a picture of my mil. ID anyways because I am so worried and upset that my writing might be cancelled or hinder my test because of this small discrepancy. Has anyone had a similar situation? What should I do? The LSAC rep. I just spoke to was rude and unhelpful. I really hope the email with my other ID will be enough; I legit still have my old SSN too with my maiden name. Ugh!
Greetings, 7Sagers!

Hi guys, I'm a first-generation student. I took a diagnostic the other day and scored 135 (without any prior studying). Although I've been feeling discouraged, I am giving myself 6 months before I take my first real LSAT. Is it possible to expect/score this high with this amount of time? Do you guys have any tips for self-studying?
Is there a way to make the drill timer cut you off at 35 minutes when doing a full section-length drill?
hi, I am looking for people to discuss study strategies with and to hold each other accountable for studying. also open to studying together online or in person!
I am based in nyc and looking to take the LSAT for the second time in Feb, 2024.
