Hi! - I am registered for the June LSAT, but wondering when/how you register for the specific day/time? I feel like I am missing some information and I haven't been able to find it on the LSAC website. Thank you!

Hey everyone just wondering what your thoughts are on this. Should I start with the early games or is it more beneficial to focus on FP the newer games and then move to the older ones? Hoping to write in June!
I'm taking the June 2022 LSAT, which I think is the only afternoon LSAT test? I'm a morning person, and I would actually prefer taking the test first thing in the morning. What do people recommend doing the morning of an afternoon LSAT? And also simulated PTs?
Hey Team,
I just wanted to share that after receiving and opening the February LSAT Score today morning, the relief and joy of seeing the hard work and struggles pay off felt like nothing I have ever felt before. I know the next few words have been shared by countless people before me and it might sound useless and unmotivating but truly, "IF I COULD SCORE A 162, ANYONE CAN SCORE 165+!!!" this test is beatable.
A 162 may seem like a measly score to others on this platform who have reached the 170s and even a perfect 180 but this was my last attempt at the LSAT and I wasn't planning on taking it again after that 5th attempt, signalling at myself to move on with life. But seeing this score as a Canadian Applicant looking to get into Canadian Schools, definitely has changed/altered my life's trajectory.
When I began the LSAT journey in November 2020, I used Khan Academy and on the very first diagnostic test I ever did received a 135... Instantly demotivating, heart crushing, and morale destroying.. but at the same time I was easy on myself knowing the journey will be long - accepting that it is only going to get better from here. Then I landed on 7Sage on December of 2020 through a friend and my life around studying for the LSAT Changed.. I never thought I will be writing my own discussion post featuring my score and trying to muster up hope, faith, and motivation in others to reach for the stars when studying for this god forsaken test. Side Note: I thought the reviews people posted were fake loll... but clearly they are not..
The reason I want to emphasize perseverance is because of my experience... LSAT Attempt #1 November 2020, a couple weeks after joining Khan Academy I wanted to sit for a test to see and witness the experience of writing the actual test. Somehow from my diagnostic of 135, I managed to score a 146 on the November 2020 LSAT. And because I was eager to get into Law School in 2021, I did a preptest everyday from December 2020 to January 2021 in preparation for Attempt #2 (January 2021 sitting) without using and going through the 7Sage course and taking my time with it.. Guess what we scored on our second attempt after a month and a half of jamming PTs everyday before the test.... A WHOPPING 146.. THAT'S RIGHT.. We scored the SAME SCORE as our Blind attempt in November.. This was truly soul crushing.. Ended up taking a break for 2 weeks to recoup and to have an honest conversation with myself - of whether we want to continue doing this and take the risk.. because that is what it is, a risk.. A risk full of hopes to score well and even if we score well to be able to get in. We decided to go all in.
Knowing that my chances of getting into a school with those horrendous scores were all but gone for the 2021 year.. I moved from doing a PT everyday to ONE PT a WEEK In preparation for the August 2021 Attempt #3 LSAT - truly cementing the practice of Blind Review which works wonders!
I started to really take J.Y's advice with LG to constantly do it over and over and over again until it becomes ingrained in our memory.. with that we started going from -6/-5 to -2/0.. EVEN ON THOSE GOD AWFUL SUBSTITUTE Q's... when you implement the repeating the LG section over and over method - your intuition really starts to roll and those sub q's start to become clearer and easier.. LR was getting supremely better and I kind of Understood what people were saying when they would say "it felt right.." on tougher questions.. prior to that I HATED HEARING THAT.. but there's no better way to describe that experience.. Fast forward 7 months to August and we score a 158. I was gassed! But felt we could do better but decided to take a month break to travel across Canada to get away from the test.
I came back in October with a mentality to boost my score and to hopefully squeeze into the 160s.. I registered for the January 2022 exam.. still implementing the ONE PT a WEEK regimen. January rolls around and we score a 155😂... After that I was like eff it.. I'll hope for the best to get into a school a with the 158, if it doesn't work out whatever we tried our best and we move on.. Knowing I had one more sitting available I was like meeeeh might as well, we had already threw all this money into this process whats another $300 CAD going to do.. LOOOL Horrible justification but glad I did it.
We scored a 162 on our Feb 2022 sitting which was my FIFTH attempt. I really went into the exam with no hopes, and a defeated mentality - I want to say it helped because I didn't allow my mind to give the test all this unnecessary weight - to classify it as an exam that's going to determine my life (If I dont do well I failed in life.... NO) - life is more than this test, literally the LSAT is a smidgen compared to all the great things you all will achieve in your life.
So we went from:
November 1st Khan Academy Diagnostic: 135
November 2020 LSAT Attempt #1: 146
January 2021 LSAT Attempt #2: 146... ⚰️
August 2021 LSAT Attempt #3: 158
January 2022 LSAT Attempt #4: 155..
February 2022 LSAT Attempt $5: 162!!!!
I write all this to say, YOU CAN DO IT.. YOU CAN! There's nothing in this world you can't do
Please have faith in yourself and if youre religious/spiritual in god as well.. Because as Drake said.. it's god's plan. There are going to be days where we feel stagnant but during those days we should strive to tell our minds we can do it!
I haven't gotten into any schools yet but honestly at this point to even score a 162 is more than enough as a reward to know I can walk away from the LSAT happy and content with the effort we put in. HOOO-RAHH.
Thank you all for reading if you did and please don't hesitate to ask questions or leave a comment - I can attempt to aid wherever I can.. LOL I don't how much advice someone would want from someone who scored a 162 but hey lol the lines are open (:
Hey,
@7sage I just realized that what used to be the option to "simulate flex" on the PT's, it's now "simulate modern." What's the difference, if any? Please explain. Thank you so much!
Is only doing 7Sage Core Curriculum enough before tackling the PTs? I am currently reading Loophole and I find it extremely helpful. I plan to read Trainer and PowerScore too before I tackle the PTs. What do you all think?
Hi,
I am a 1L student right now. I am planning to transfer to another law school of exactly the same rank as my current school. (Both of these schools are T35.) I know transfers are for those top students who would like to go to T14 schools. But I have this plan because the school I would like to transfer to is super close to my home, which means I would not need to rent an apartment anymore and I could largely reduce the financial burden placed on my family. (I have been raised by a single parent who has lost the job due to the COVID-19 pandemic and my brother is also a law student.) Most importantly, I personally prefer to practice law in a city closer to my home in the future.
I was waitlisted when I applied for the dream school last year but I was rejected in late August (perhaps because my LSAT was one point lower than its 25-percentile score). While I am trying to be one of the top students at my current law school, it is much harder than I expected. (Grade curving is always my nightmare!) My 1L GPA so far is 3.37 and I am around top 45% of our 1L class, which makes me anxiously wonder if I still have a chance to get into another law school of the same school rank.
I would appreciate any advice! Thank you all!
Hello! I'm currently studying for the September 9th LSAT with a goal of 171+! I am diagnosed with ADHD, I'm a Math teacher, and I plan on studying roughly 2 hours a day. I would like to study virtually but am not opposed to studying in a nice public environment if you are apart of the study group and are also in Houston, TX. As of 3/4/2022 I completed the Introduction to Logic content and should be starting Assumptions and weakening questions tomorrow. If you're at a sooner or later lesson that's perfectly fine too! I'm sure we can still benefit from being in a group. I just want a study group to crush the LSAT with! I don't care what your diagnosed score is, I believe we all are capable of learning the LSAT and I would love to learn from one another! Plus we also learn a large amount from teaching and reviewing concepts with one another. I've PT'd 159-163 if interested and am committed to making the 170+ dream come true. Also if you're potentially interested in Teach For America I'd love to share my experience with it so far if you're an undergraduate student considering gap years or a career change before crushing the LSAT!

I don't get this. I think the method is used a lot when people argue in everyday life. How come this is flawed?

English is my second language. I have trouble understanding texts in LSAT in a really short time. How can I improve my understanding without sacrificing more time?
P.S. I got my BS in the US, so my English isn’t that bad.
Hey NYC, anyone here for September 2022 test that is interested in forming a small group?
Working full time so looking for maybe an hour of study time a day.
Just looking for buddies that have similar goals as me
If I take a gap year, will my score suffer because I won't be doing school every day?
Hi ! I'm aiming for April or June LSAT (I'm outside US)
I'm currently taking 4-5 PTs every week, and I'm done with the fundamentals.( But I'm still referring to basic materials to build stronger foundation)
Is 4-5 PTs a week too much or moderate?
The reason why I'm taking 4-5 is not because I'm too tired, but I want to take enough time to review, and also don't want to get score back bay by day since I'm not around 170 for now.
Also, I'm taking 1-20 PTs as half PT on days I don't take a full pt. ( Some pts over 20 also doing this)
Saving PT seems important since I counted remaining ones and I think I definitely need to save since I'll probably take the one after summer. Is half pt efficient?
Any advice is welcomed, besides those questions but things in general about pt schedule:)
Looking to get some opinions on my personal statement. I can send it to you via email, just PM it to me. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!!
Hello guys,
I have been doing some drill sets for logical games and I have been taking my time to work through them. Sometimes I do 100% more time and I do really well. I was wondering if you guys recommend taking your time or timing yourself to see how well you can do. I feel like I take way too long and am wondering when I should progress to the timed ones.

Hi everyone,
On Wednesday, March 16, at 9 PM ET, we will be hosting a 1L panel discussion with former 7Sagers about what you can expect as a 1L (and how to survive).
You’ll get a chance to ask your questions at the end.
:warning: You’ll have to register for this webinar in advance.
:warning: The webinar will be recorded, and we may post it on our site or on YouTube. We may also share the audio on our podcast.
→ Please register for the webinar here:

If you want to ask a question, you should connect via a computer instead of calling in. We also recommend that you join the webinar a few minutes early and test your microphone.
The correct answer to PrepTest 1 - Section 3 - Question 13 is C. It was marked incorrect by the Problem Set program.
For example, for PT5 S2 Q17, JY solves the question by referencing from his past game boards from past questions to eliminate a majority of the ACs.
Does everyone "save" their game boards like JY does? If so, how do you go about drawing each of them out under limited time? Do you just scribble relevant figures in similar positions without making a full board?
So far, I have been making master game boards using pen and erasing memos written in pencil before moving onto the next question.
I'm curious because I feel like using JY's technique might be a game changer for me. Thank you.
Hi everyone,
On Thursday, March 3, at 12:00 PM ET, we'll check back in with former 7Sager @"Accounts Playable", who went to HLS, and see how he's faring as a first-year associate . We'll ask him how he got the job, how practicing law differs from law school, and what advice he can give people hoping to land in big law.
You’ll get a chance to ask your questions at the end.

I am having a hard time working under the time given in the exam as well as focusing on the questions. I feel as if my score is only low because I am leaving a lot blank. Can anyone advise me on how I can focus and read faster?
Any tips please assist me, I know I can do better than the grade I am receiving.
