Can anyone direct me to the conditional reasoning section under foundations? I've realized that I'm missing CR questions because I lack strength in this area.

Hey! Looking for tips on how to decide what passages to do and in what order. Note that I don't get through all 4 passages timed unless I want to miss most questions (I'm ok with this, it's my best option to score-wise, and RC is a big struggle for me). I just need to get through 3/4 passages, but I can't tell which approach is best as far as picking which ones I choose to do.
If one of the passages I choose turns out to be the hardest of them all, it takes me much more time and not as much reward. I find myself scoring lower than I have to because the one I skipped was easier than one or more that I did. So, I'm asking for advice on quick ways to tell whether it's worth doing.
I know there's not much of a predictable order of doing them, but if you have any tips on how you decide to do it, please let me know (even if you do get through all 4, you surely want to save the hardest for last to get rewarded for points you know you can get)
For example, should I choose:
ones with the most questions
shortest passage
glance at question types to see if it has many that I struggle with/good at (I could see this approach eating up too much time)
length of passage
topic
Thanks in advance!
For the last 5 PTS, I have been getting 167-172, but 177-179 on BR, simply because I eliminate down to two answers and pick the wrong one on the test, and the right one on BR. I'm only missing 4-5 star questions and timing isn't an issue. I'm not sure what to do, should I just pick the answer I don't like as much? Any advice is appreciated!
I just recently took a PT after two months of studying that gave me my initial diagnostic score when I started with 7 sage. I saw an almost 7 point difference in my last couple of PTs, but this one really demotivated me as it gave me the same score as my diagnostic. If anyone has experienced something like this plz let me know, feeling very discouraged at the moment and like all my hard work was for nothing :(
Hi I am looking for a study group for anyone who is still scoring in the 130s-140s like I am and want to help each other?
My history shows I took two sections on Thursday, when I know I took them on Wednesday and did not open 7sage at all on Thursday. I took them before midnight EST. Why does it show a wrong date?
Hi everyone,
I was wondering which data 7Sage uses to determine which tags to prioritize. I’ve noticed that the priorities and accuracy percentages don’t seem to change, even after I’ve drilled the same tag several times. Does the system only take data from PrepTests into account?
September exam coming up--wish me luck! 🤞🏼
Hi 7Sage, it would extremely helpful if our Priorities by Tag included sections and drills. After a lot of drilling and sections, I just noticed the priorities are not updating and it made me sad :(
I’d love the ability to edit PT answers after completing a test. During my last PT, the site glitched and skipped straight to BR after Section 3, so I wasn’t able to enter my Section 4 answers and include them in analytics.
It would also be really helpful to have a way to view all of our notes on one single page, similar to the classic 7Sage setup.
Thank you!
Looking for study buddies taking the October LSAT. I am from NJ, so preferably others in the same time zone. Looking for people to hold each other accountable for their personal goals, help each other, and will be willing to put a lot of group time in. Let me know if you're interested
Does the Official Proctored LSAC Test look EXACTLY like the LawHub Practice Test Format? I just tried 1 question and found the layout so different I couldn't focus LOL
What are they and how do I get better at these? Really confused, the platform makes no mention of link assumption unless I am just missing it
Hey everyone! 😊 I'm looking to start a study group Monday through Friday after 6 PM. Would anyone be interested in joining? Let me know! 📚✨
I just moved to London and plan to be studying full-time for the LSAT. I'd love to start an in-person or online study group (though I have a slight preference for an in-person study group) and was wondering if anyone else is on a similar journey here in the UK!
Join me Friday at 12ET for a free admissions live class on what your personal statement needs to accomplish. I'll also be live-reacting to personal statements users have submitted to teach you the tips and tricks that make admissions officers fall in love.
Is it true that there will be "mini logic games" or any logic game type questions in the logical reasoning section(s)? Has anyone seen this in the recent tests? If so, how/where can we find practice questions (or anything similar)?
Does anyone have (or know) a good structure for creating Low-res summaries for each paragraph in a passage. I find myself getting lost in the words and extrapolating information i do not need or missing the information I do need.
I'm not sure if I should apply this year with my LSAT score, my stats are that I have a 155 LSAT and 3.59 GPA, which I know isn't the worst but I also know that it significantly limits my options for law schools. My top picks are University of Oregon and Lewis and Clark, or Loyola in CA, but I'm not sure if I should apply this year or study and apply next year with a 160+ score. I do want to go to law school as soon as possible though, but I'm not sure if my stats are good enough.
I RSVPed for two live classes for tomorrow but I am unsure if I should complete the drill provided that will be covered in each class. Let me know thoughts on this! Thanks
I live about 10 minutes away from UNCC in Charlotte, NC. Looking for a study partner!
Hello! I am reviewing PT 148, and I am a bit confused about why we can make certain assumptions and not others. On question 12 of section 1, I chose A but the correct answer is supposed to be C. After watching the explanation video, I understand that I had to make a couple assumptions in order to land on A. However, if C is correct, wouldn't you have to assume that the wolves prefer to prey on sick moose over healthy moose? The way I read the answer choice was just that the wolves often eat the sick wolves, not that they tend to eat the sick wolves over the healthy wolves. What if the wolves are still preying on more wolves than the diseases would? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!
When going through LR questions, sometimes I see what i am sure is the answer but I still go through every other ACs and eliminate them. Sometimes this pays off because I change my answer to a better one but most of time time it feels like a waste of time. Should I be reading every answer even though I am 90% sure I already know the correct one?
Hi all,
I recently took a PT and saw that I mostly only missed Level 4 and Level 5 questions, but I'm a little confused on how to study because there is a Level 4 or 5 question from different question types that I missed. For example, I missed a Level 5 from method of reasoning, evaluate, agree, flaw, parallel flaw, and weaken. It's not a couple specific question type that I can drill and understand.
Any tips on how to go about working on/drilling these questions? Are there any strategies you guys were able to use to not get the L4 and 5 wrong later?
Anything helps!!
I just started regularly taking PTs, and I feel that I'm under-utilizing my scrap paper. I find myself reluctant to use it, as it feels like a time sink.
I'm curious to know how people strategize using scrap paper to help them effectively, so I can brainstorm some ideas for myself. I'd love to hear tips and tricks as well!
Thanks in advance :))
I have recently taken the LSAT and received a score just a couple points shy of my goal, and I am giving myself until the November LSAT to study and hopefully perform better. Should I apply right when applications open in September and then update my LSAT afterwards? Or just wait until my new score comes out (November 26) and then apply?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
