https://7sage.com/lessons/logical-reasoning/necessary-assumption-questions/na-lesson-1-pt64-s3-q12

Would someone correct my conditional logic steps that may lead to the condition that forms the answer:

Premise 1: "some gardening books published by Garden Path recommend tilling the soil and adding compost before starting a new garden on a site"

(domain) gardening books:

published by GPP <-s-> tilling AND compost (1)

Premise 2: "they (those same books) do not explain the difference between hot and cold composting."

published by GPP <-s-> / diff H&C composting (2)

Premise 3: "any gardening book that recommends adding compost is flawed if it does not explain at least the basics of composting"

(domain) gardening books :

/ basics composting -> flawed (3)

Conclusion: "some books published by Garden Path are flawed."

published by GPP <-s-> flawed (4)

(4) is the same as :

flawed <-s-> published by GPP (5)

combining (5) and (2)

flawed <-s-> published by GPP <-s-> / diff H&C composting (6)

based off of (6)

flawed <-s-> / diff H&C composting (7)

Combine (7) and (3)

/ basics composting ->/ diff H&C composting

contrapositive:

diff H&C composting -> basics composting

Based on the above D should be the answer perhaps?

Though certainly there is a flaw in there somewhere particularly with the <s> relationships inference etc.

Imsg GroupChat

Ok I am looking to make an iMessage group chat where we post questions and help each other explain throughout the day. Lmk.

Often when I make practice drills I find that if I pick questions automatically, it seems like there is a tendency puts the most difficult 5 star questions first, and the easier 3 stars and 2 stars later. Maybe that's just me, but at the very least you can say there's no observable pattern as to how questions are ordered based on difficulty. This is really disorienting, as this is the opposite of what you're going to encounter on the tests, and generally it's just easier for me to work into the difficulty.

I'd like to propose that the automatic question generator can sort questions starting from easiest to hardest. The ordering doesn't have to be super precise, but I feel like this feature would both enable better performance and better simulate test conditions

Diagramming

Is there any live class that focuses heavily on diagramming? This is probably my weakest area that is contributing to missed points for a higher score on the LSAT. In the search box for recorded classes, diagramming is not called out specifically and I do not want to revisit all of the foundations if I do not have to for this.

Thanks in advance/

I go to school at UF, took the LSAT twice, did horribly and am retaking it in January. I'm from West Palm Beach and visit frequently. Would anyone wanna study in person on online together?? Need the help lol let me know!

Hi All - I'm sure there's already been posts about this but I wasn't able to find any discussions. I'm in the process of getting out my applications had a question on how admissions officers are treating the use of AI with personal statements and optional essays.

I'm asking because I just wrote out a quick draft of an optional essay and put it into Grammerly to see if it would be flagged as AI generated. Grammerly said it was 83% AI generated even though it was 0%. I then put in a paragraph that I had ChatGPT write and it said it was only 70% AI generated.

My concern is that schools are going to throw out my application because they use one of these tools that erroneously says my essay is AI. Does anyone have any insight into this? Obviously it's a very new problem.

I'm taking the LSAT at home for the first time (had a terrible in-person experience so trying this), but I was wondering if anyone with a gaming PC setup has been dinged for having multiple monitors, mic arms, etc.

I've made a second setup with just a laptop, XL gaming pad, and additional monitor as my "testing zone" but was wondering if secondary monitors/graphic mousepads are dinged and not allowed. Should I keep it to just the laptop and mouse?

Would love to hear about other ppl's experiences testing at home and how I can optimize my setup for seamless testing without having to rework my desk the day of.

Hello, I have been a long time user of 7sage and the new website has been good to me but I have noticed a few issues as of recently.

  1. When I am practicing in a drill, the highlighter used to be applicable across any question I switched between. But in the sets I have done today, I find myself having to click on the highlighter again whenever I move to another question.

  2. When I come to the end of my drill after submitting, the review section is not keeping track of how much time I spent on any question other than the 1st one. When I click on these questions to review them, it tells me that I have to click to mark the questions as seen. This worries me a bit because I don't want to be practicing with the same questions I have done or seen before.

  3. In blind review it used to only mark questions that the website though you should review, but for some reason every question is marked for blind review whenever I complete a drill now.

    Please let me know if there are any fixes to this, thank you!

Time-tracking on drills/sections for me is not consistent/available anymore. If a drill takes 7 minutes to complete and there's five questions, my tracker states that I spent 7 minutes on the first question and 0 minutes on the following four. Is time-tracking not working for anybody else? How can I fix this?

Hello folks! So, I was supposed to take the LSAT this week, but I forgot to bring an acceptable form of ID (due to my travel circumstances, it was impossible to go and get an ID), so I basically just had to take the L and go home without taking the LSAT.

What I'm wondering: How will this show up on my LSAT record? Should I include this test date in my law school applications? Is this a big enough deal that I should write a small addendum explaining the circumstances?

Any advice would be awesome, thank you!

Does anyone know of any classes from the tutors that would focus on difficult grammar parsing and double-negatives or other things like that? Those ones tend to trip me up, and I'm looking for a way to improve. All the classes seem to be focused on specific question types, but that may not be what I'm looking for.

Hey y'all, I'm studying for the November LSAT, which will be the final LSAT I will take. I feel pretty good about my LR, however my RC is really inconsistent. Sometimes I get -1/-2 and other times I get -7/-8. I want to drill efficiently this upcoming month and want advice on how others have improved their RC sections.

My practice consists of drilling separate passages (timed), where I focus on writing efficient and quick low res sums, and taking full length sections under timed conditions. I also try to join as many RC classes as I can. I'm trying to focus at least a full hour of RC everyday and can up that time.

How should I switch up my studying? Have there been effective practice methods that have worked for you? Would love any and all advice :)!

🙃 Confused

Wrong answer Journal

what to do with wrong answer journal?

I mean I know, u have to see why u got certain Q wrong but I dont understand how to utilize my WAJ. is there a way? how do u all revise it effectively? Any tips and tricks?

PS. I use CollANote app for my notes, I have created a seprate doc for WAJ. I usually take a picture of question (including AC and everything) and then I write the technique that instructor uses.

Is there any other effective way?
