I can check them out, but you can probably use both - meaning one can be used as a diversitystatement(unique situation/experience) Won't be able to know for sure though until it's been read obviously :)
When you say you have lived and studied "here" your whole life, is that referring to UK or US? If you've lived your whole life in UK, then I think you can absolutely make a diversitystatement out of that.

depends on if it's interesting .... if it's a lot of fluff then it's too long. If you've only included things that are clearly relevant then it's fine. is it doublespaced or single spaced? how many words in total? mine is a little over 1000 words.
The general guideline is that your PS should not exceed 2 pages and it must be doublespaced, 12pt font. But every school is different, so it boils down to what schools you're applying to is looking for.

@"Cant Get Right" @"Alex Divine" do you guys know if a "disadvantage addendum" is the same thing as a diversitystatement? The prompt says to talk about any socio-economic disadvantages you have overcome. Or is that different from a diversitystatement?
