I'm thinking of applying to Columbia ED. My GPA is higher than their 75th percentile and I'm planning on taking the LSAT in October, but I've been scoring slightly below their 25th percentile (high 160s) on PTs. Would it be worth giving ED a shot?

Don't mean to hijack the thread but what would you guys say about someone who has a really high GPA, like 3.9-4.0? Can that compensate for a lower LSAT score? For example, if someone gets a 165 and has a 4.0 GPA, can that get him into a T-10 school?

I would just retake them. Make a note on the questions that you remember the answer to, and adjust your final score based on how you see fit. I usually subtract 2 or 3 points from my retakescore, depending on how many questions I remembered

Garbage GPA means you need a legit LSAT... If you have a 4.0 then you can get away with a lower LSAT score. What I wrote above is what is called "targeted advice".
