I was at my testing center from 12:00 to 6:30.... 6.5 hours even though we weren't under LSAC control until 12:30.... 200 people were at our testing center so it took time to check everyone in.
The best they can do is give you a refund so you can retake it. Unless proctor/testing center is absolutely egregious, nothing else will change -- at least from what I've heard.

The problem is that it was hard to incorporate Trainer's POE techniques in real test situation. I tried POE but it seems to slow me down because it takes time to cross out all answer choices sometime.
Q: What is "Drilling"? Does it have anything to do with BR?
(Answer by @Pacifico)
A: Drilling is when you work on specific issues you have rather than full PTs. You should BR when you drill but BR itself does not ...
I found the steps to take the test at a non published center but that's an option only if you're more than 100 miles from a published center. I guess I just have to get up like 3 hours earlier that day yikes
Everything you do is dictated by the proctor. When the 35 minutes are up, you absolutely cannot go back and fill in any remaining questions. You will be kicked out if caught.
I got a 35minutes watch and I also have a regular analog watch. I don't know what to expect from my testing center because I think it's their first time, so it could be a little crazy. If I have to use a wall clock I'll do that.
When I wrote the test last year I wore a hoodie and so did others at my test center. It was a non issue. Although the Canadian winters are pretty cold so maybe that's why they expected people to be walking in all bundled up.
If that's going to bother you then you might want to switch to a different test center. This site has reviews of test centers: http://www.simugator.com/lsat-test-site-rater.php
