yes, if your planning on using 62-71 eventually then you can use 40-50 to start. The trainer is just suggesting that if you use 10 prep tests to study that it be the most recent ones since they are most indicative of what you will see on the LSAT you take.

Just throwing this out there - knew a guy who had a 2.7 GPA from a meh undergrad institution. Got a 177 onhisLSAT, got into every T-14 school besides Stanford and Yale (yep, got into Harvard). He now goes to UVA because they gave him a full ride.
