Hi everyone! Does anyone have benchmarks to hit for pacing in each of the sections? At what minute mark should one aim to be at the end of 10 LR questions, 20 questions? At what minute mark should we look to be at the end of the first RC passage and it’s questions, the second, etc? And similarly for games? Of course, it depends on question/passage difficulty, target scores, etc., but benchmarks to aim for would be very helpful. If this has been discussed elsewhere, sorry for the repeat, would someone be able to point me to it? Thank you to the 7Sage community!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to 7sage. I completed the Blueprint course but ended up with a 160 on the April Flex. My goal is to score 167+ in August. I'm looking for some advice about how to best use 7sage... should i just go through all the core curriculum even though I know the basics? Do I just focus on the harder question types? Thanks!!

I was rather late to the "I think I want to go to law school" train, and I graduate in the spring of 2022, meaning I am looking to apply for this coming cycle. I have a fantastic GPA but am PTing around a 155 atm. Still fortunate for all of the testing my highschool forced me to do.

I am just a bit worried about what test I should take. I worry that signing up to take June is a bit of an overkill, and that I would be best just working hard for my best score in August. BUT that will have been my first time, and on the off chance I BOMB the August test and need to retake it, I don't know how trying to retake the LSAT in October will go when the semester is in full swing. Furthermore, is that enough time to get my applications in early and set? I am aiming to have every application in before thanksgiving. Thankful for any advice!

Hey 7sage community,

About a month ago, I started off at a 145 diagnostic. 2 weeks ago I was able to get my score up to a 161 on PT 37, but it dropped to a 152 on PT 38 then to 145 on PT 39!

I'm always -5 or less on LG, but I've been getting wrecked on Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.

Most of the time I can't even follow what the LR passage is saying and mix up the premises and sub-conclusions. On RC I'll get a perfect on one passage, then bomb the next.

Has anyone overcome a similar situation? My goal is 170 but obviously some work needs to be done.

Hi everyone,

Just had a major last-minute rearrangement of my tutoring calendar, so I'm copying @canihazJD from a few weeks back and holding impromptu office hours to fill some time.

I'll be around until probably 5/5:30pm Eastern or so (or whenever I feel like stopping). I'll probably be fiddling a bit with my new phone and smartwatch, but I'm happy to talk LSAT while doing it. All are welcome, ask me anything.

Google Meet link (I don't have Zoom premium and don't feel like restarting the call every 40 minutes): DONE!

Lots of good questions and fun conversation. Thanks to everyone that came. I'll try to do this again sometime, hopefully without the last minute emergency cancellation to prompt it. Now go study!

Please make it so when I click the eye to remove what I picked as my answer, that I can get another option to not see what the correct answer is/wrong answer was and the percentages of what people picked. I like to go over past exams with a tutor and since I have already answered them. 7Sage PTs already show what is correct, so it is hard to make new assumptions or explain why I think it is wrong or right when the answer is staring right at me, so my mind already goes to what is correct. I know that LSAT Demon offers this option and offers the option to turn off the highlights you have made with a button after the exam is done as well. If you actually end up doing this, thank you!!

Hi!

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to take the June LSAT since there's no experimental, or suck it up and take the Aug or Oct tests when I will be more prepared and ready.

I initially intended to take the Aug LSAT and had structured my course study to do so, but with the announcement of the experimental returning after June, I want to be most efficient in my testing and will grind especially hard if and only if it's worth it to not take the experimental.

Thoughts from people who have taken the experimental and the og test? Preference to one or the other? Reasons?

I just scored 172 on PT69. Yay! It's my first time to break into the 170s! But....I spent 12.5 minutes on 7 questions that I got wrong. (5 of them were RC) How do you spot questions worth skipping? If I could have spent 10 extra minutes on just two of those questions, I might have been able to get them.

Thanks!

Is anyone else studying while working full-time? I've been studying and working full-time for the last year and it's been really tough. I work a really stressful job (social work) so motivating myself to study after work has been very difficult for me. For those who work full-time, what are your study schedules? And how do you motivate yourself to stay on schedule? Any and all advice is appreciated!

Hi Y'all !

So as you can see I have a pretty big gap between my raw scores (Pt 40 - 147) and (Pt 41 - 150) and my latest BR score of 171. What are some helpful tips to close this Gap? My biggest problem is of course timing, whenever I am timed the anxiety and nervousness kicks in and comprehension drops. The LSAT is not friendly to those who have been slow readers their whole life. If you're on my boat, I know you feel my pain.

Thanks 7Sage!

Is anyone else having buffering issues on the videos? I have for the past 3 days. I've restarted my computer, joined different Wi-Fi networks, and cleared the past 7 days of my cache but nothing as worked so far. Does anyone have a solution?

I'm planning on taking the August 2021 Lsat and I'm trying to practice taking prep tests with the new format. It will be 4 section with 1 unscored. On 7 sage theres only the Flex LSAT (3 sections) or regular (4 sections all scored), does anyone have any tips on how I should practice.

I plan on taking the LSAT for my second time in August, and am about 1/4 through the core curriculum, and am wondering when I should start drilling on practice tests.

Should I take practice tests, then go through core curriculum on problem types that I did bad on, or should I finish the core curriculum, then re-watch any question types that I got wrong and try to fix my mindset? And then repeat that process to make sure I'm really learning the material?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to modify the "Date Taken" for PrepTest that you manually input your score for? I had some pen & paper preptests that I took prior to signing up for 7sage and I would like to be able to include them in my analytics without it making my most recent score go down. Otherwise, it just sets the date taken as the date you input the answers on 7sage. Any suggestions on how I can do this?

Hello everyone,

I've been studying on and off since the summer of last year, in January I picked things up a bit and have seen a slight improvement in being able to pick up on wrongs and patterns more. I am however overwhelmed because I am not seeing the progress that I would like. I plan to take the test in November, can someone PLEASE help me come up with a study schedule? I work from home and have 5 to 6 hours a day to study but I don't know where to start, right now I am kind of jumping around and that's probably why I am not progressing as I would like. Should I do core lessons for one hour? Work out problems for another? I mean, I don't know I am clueless. I need a 165 , currently at 149-156 range and have 6 more months to get there. Also, what is the best study guide for the logic games, I really need help with that, if I can nail that, I think I can get to where I need to be.

I will greatly appreciate any feedback whatsoever. Thanks.

With us all dedicated to the LSAT and my life seemly is all LSAT for the past year.

I'd like to hear about some of the hobbies/ things you enjoy doing, are doing/will be doing once everything opens back up?

I liked to go trap shooting with my father before Covid hit. Or going snowmobiling out West in the mountains, even though I broke my leg a few years back that required 8 pins in my leg... I also like to go fishing in the gulf and or just getting out on the water and soaking up the sun. I feel like I haven't had any vitamin D since March 2020, because the LSAT and Covid. I feel like I could just grab a bottle of Sunny D and it absorbs through my skin😂😂

Hello,

I’m looking to take the LSAT in August and start law school in fall of 2022. The law school that I’m shooting for has a median LSAT score of 155. I’ve gotten through only 52 hours of the curriculum thus far. I’ve taken 2 practice test’s and scored a 147 and a 149. Also, my GPA is lower due to some poor decisions when I first entered college. So, I would love to at least make in the 160-165 ball park to hopefully make up for not having a stellar GPA. I

I work a full-time job and am attending school part-time while studying for the LSAT. Any suggestions on what my next few months of studying should look like?

Thank you!

I take the June LSAT-Flex and have been studying but not seeing a ton of improvements. I am aiming for at least a 156 on my first LSAT. Im kind of confused on whether or not there is a curve still in place for the flex exam. For example, I scored a 148 on the November 2019 preptest doing the flex format. I scored -37 which would have given me a score of 155 on the score conversion chart that 7sage provides if it was the traditional four section format. Is there a curve for the flex exams in place or would I have scored a 148 if it would have been a flex originally.
