I'm sitting the September LSAT (it's my second time), and I'm weighing how much time off to take from work. I have 12 days of PTO left for the year, so I was thinking of taking the full two weeks at the end of August to hammer out a bunch of PTs/BR/drills, etc. I'd love to hear from anyone who has used a significant chunk of your vacation time/PTO to study and whether you felt it was worthwhile.
I was wondering who I should contact regarding a refund for a course I recently purchased. Is there a particular email address?

Hi everyone, I have now taken 3 practice tests on Khan Academy and I find it really hard to stare at the screen for so long with such a short break. My eyes start to hurt and it becomes really hard to focus after about an hour. I have been taking those rather than printing out the old ones because I want to get used to taking it digitally. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to release the tension while I'm taking the test? The 15 minute break helps but as soon as I go back to the screen my head starts hurting again.
I was wondering if I register for October and November will I be able to see an increase? since they're less than a month apart?
Hi everyone! Thanks in advance for reading. The discussion title pretty much says it all. I'm following 7sage's Study Schedule for the September test and I've fallen almost 2 weeks behind. Not good. Should I continue and push through and really increase my studying where I can? Or should I just pick certain lessons and start doing more frequent PTs?
Thank you!!
Hi! I took the June 5th test and got a 159, I was averaging around a 163. My testing center was horrible and the proctors were talking next to me during my test. As I left the test I knew I had to retake no matter what.
I signed up for the July 15th test but I took a 3 week break and then couldnt get back up to my regular above 160 scores. So I withdrew and didnt take the test. The fact that I couldnt bring my score back up made me think that I have to review foundational information.
I want to take the test again, and think that I need about a month and a half rest. The course I was using before was really intensive and burnt me out. That being said, I also work full-time and would like to get a 165 or above if I retake. I think i have an OK foundational knowledge but would want to revisit material.
How do I know which test to aim for and which 7sage package to use? Should I combine this with any of the Power Score bibles?
How long does it take to get through 7sage’s lessons/course material? Is it written or in videos? Because if its in text I’ll have more opportunities to read the material, on the way to work and etc.
I’d like to apply to law school this year and am willing to take a 2 month break from work if that means I could take the October test. Thank you very much!
How many games did you all foolproof and over what span of time?
Also, how many games do you foolproof a day? For me, I'm currently fool proofing 3-4 games a day.
Planning to write in Novemeber, anyone else?
..
I have 7 more classess before I complete undergrad. Do you think it's okay to submit an official transcript to LSAC now or should I wait? Thank you for your assistance.
Hello there,
I'm wondering if anyone has any splitter success stories relative to Canadian law schools? Information on this subject is pretty scarce and so far, the information I have been able to find is more than a decade old (2007). I know that US law schools are more receptive to admitting splitters than are Canadian law schools, and maybe I'll end up going to a really good school in the states, but if anyone can provide me with any insight re: this side of the pond, that would be great!

Hello 7Sagers, I took the digital July exam and am anticipating having to retake in Sept. I am going to only do PTs in the digital version this time, as I feel it made a pretty significant difference in my test performance. I do not see the option to take the test in Digital for PTs for which I've already uploaded the PT BR answers. Is there a way to erase/wipe out my BR uploads so I can retake the exam in Digital?
Thank you~
I use 7Sage, completed core curriculum (CC) a while ago and went back to review all of the logic material and I'm currently foolproofing games in the bundle (I've done PTs 1-20 so far, but have since taken a break from them when I began taking PTs). I have taken 3 PTs (June 2007 for the second time after 10 months, PT 69 and PT 73).
My goal score is 10-15 points (165+) higher than my actual scores and my blind review scores have been up to10 points less than my goal score (154-163). For each exam, my BR score for was at least 10 points higher than the actual PT score. I have also run out of time for almost every LR section and every LG section in these PTs.
Timing is certainly an issue for me and my BR average is not near my target score. Not sure how useful LSAT Analytics will be to me with only ~3PTs (2 Fresh PTs) so if I should take more PTs, what would be a good amount to take to assess true weaknesses? Timing is obviously a weakness but how much does that matter now--is that a problem to be addressed later or right now? What would be the best course of action? I'm looking to hear from people who have been or are in a similar situation so I can try out a few things to see what might work for me.
Who kept PTing and started seeing results? Who kept PTing continued to not see results, changed game plan and started seeing results? What was that change?
Things I've noticed:
Pretty much averaging -10 on each section from each of these PTs.
I plan on taking the exam in September and want to construct a game plan going into August so that I can be comfortably PTing in September with BR scores (hopefully) well above my goal score.
Long post, I know, but seriously seeking advice because PT scores are making me sad...
TL;DR: I'm basically asking the same question but I have not yet done or tried any LR or RC untimed: https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/13780
Probably more like flawed thinking but I don't get Test 63 S3 Q6 (bus drivers). The correct answer is D but I can think of a scenario where the assumption is not true but the conclusion would still hold. It doesn't seem to me that D is a better choice than C and neither of those choices seem to me to be required. Does anyone else question this one?
I'm about 25% through the core curriculum. I don't recall from the CC if I should be timing myself at this point. However, many people are commenting on the problem sets what their time was.
Should I be timing myself on the problem sets? If not, then when?
Hi, I just started with 7Sage and got through all of the "Blind Review" explanation videos. I'm a bit confused because in the videos and texts underneath JY only references the Logical Reasoning section but no others. We're supposed to do blind reviews for all sections, correct? Just want to clarify!
Thanks!

Hello, I am currently registered for the September 2019 LSAT and was wondering which course would be recommended. I took the Sept. 2018 LSAT and scored a 164, and am currently testing in the mid to high 160s. However, I am trying to lock in a score above 170. Do you guys recommend one course over the other or anything specific that I should be doing to get my score into that range? Appreciate any help in can get.
Apologies if this has been answered previously - if so, please feel free to smack me around and direct me to the correct thread!
Is there a way to launch 7sage's digital test taking simulator to re-take sections for PTs I've previously completed (ie, to foolproof previously completed games)? I know I can print them out, but I'd much rather foolproof via the digital tool; I'm also trying to avoid just deleting all of my analytics.
Thanks!
Hey all, I am wondering if anyone has any great resources for the essays. Trying to identify what they are about and what admissions councils will be looking for. Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to access all my starred questions together, instead of clicking into each practice exam? Was marking questions up while going through the core curriculum and I wonder if there is a quick way to access all of them besides the LSAT explanations page. Thank you!
So ive been studying for the lsat for two month (not seriously) but i took a three week break of studying BIG MISTAKE! i was scoring 14-15 per LR and other sections around that as well or maybe more. But i decided to get back to studying and actually take it seriously so yesterday i did my a section of Logic Reasoning and I got A FREAKIN 9 i also took another one today also got a 9 which is what i first got the first time i ever did an lsat. i cant understand why my score decreased so much i feel so unmotivated and shit about it. like it doesnt make sense at all like what the MY NEW SCORE IS TELLING MY IS THAT I LOST ALL THE KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION AND HOURS OF STUDYING BC I TOOK A BREAK. (sorry for the lack of punctuation). has the happened to anyone before? also any tips? im screaming
I am looking for study advice. I just graduated from University with a quite a high GPA and am looking for a goal score of 168+
I started the core curriculum on June 5th ish. I have been studying since then, for about 3-5 hours every single day. I didnt take a cold diagnostic, I took the june 2007 free test after finishing the core curriculum, scoring a 156.
Since then, I have taken 3 practice tests, all under strict timed conditions. I scored 162 on the PT 36. I scored 163 on PT 52. And a 165 on PT 38. So in total, I have been studying for close to two months. I am wondering where to go from here. I am planning on taking the October Test, but am willing to wait a full year and study full time and take the test in 2020 if it means I can possibly get a higher score.
3 main questions:
Should I increase my studying time? I can do 5-6 consistently every day. It seems that 3-5 has been working well but I can definitley increase it.
How should I really study? Currently Im just doing 2 timed sections a day plus BR. Or sometimes Ill do a full PT worth of sections in a day then review it the next day. Sometimes, and I know this is bad, ill just do random stuff... I also try to do as much LG as possible, since Ive only finished the games from 1-10 plus whatever Practice tests ive done.
Lastly, is a 170 possible within 3 months? Im not familiar with score increases. Assuming im about a 160-163 right now,can I go 7-10 points in 3 months? Or should I prolong the test to next year?
I don't understand how the July 15 takers are supposed to get a free retake in September if the cancel options is not available yet and we cant see our scores until the 28th of August to see if we want to keep or cancel? Am I missing something? Can anyone please clarify?
Hello all,
I just signed up for 7Sage ultimate a few days ago. I've been studying for about 8-9 weeks now for the LSAT and have improved from my diagnostic of 140 to a 164 average. I noticed when signing up that there are study guides. I am taking the October LSAT and signed up for the study guide for October. Should I complete all of the core curriculum and should I finish the core curriculum before starting PT's?
