I've been struggling with LG and my strategy to study so far has been to do a game until i get it all right and in time (usually 3 tries) then i'll put it aside and do it again the next day. That next day I'll just do it once and then do it again the next day until i get it all right and in time 3 times. This usually leads me to doing a game about 5 or 6 times. I want to do the foolproof method but I don't understand if it would mean doing the same game ten times in a row then moving on or how do you space out the ten repetitions?

Anyone else have technical issues for the online August LSAT (Friday)? I ran several diagnostics to ensure that my 2018 MAC air could accommodate for ProctorU but right before the test, they said it was too slow. I made sure to close all my applications and run through the ProctorU diagnostics before I tested (they all came up perfectly fine). Now I sent a complaint and hopefully I can rewrite it on the 23.
Also if anyone has written on the Tablet; is it more difficult/ could I use my own Ipad and Pencil?
I have only been practicing on my Mac so I am worried that the tablet format may be hard to do for logic games given that it would have to be propped up so I could work on the problems on my scratch paper!
Hey 7Sagers,
Here's the official August 2022 LSAT Discussion Thread.
REMINDER: Under your Candidate Agreement, you may not discuss the details of any specific LSAT questions at any time. For the August LSAT, general discussion of what sections you had, or how difficult you found a given section, or speculation about which sections were scored or unscored, is prohibited until after 9pm ET, Tuesday, August 16th.
Posts that violate these rules will be taken down and may result in disciplinary action from LSAC. Let’s work together to ensure the test is fair to everyone, and not share information before everyone has taken the test.

taking LSAT tomorrow. today I went on to proctoru and this is what it said under "tests unable to run on browser"
I called proctoru and left message (nobody answered), called LSAT (told me to call proctoru), and have googled and not found anything helpful. I have messed with settings on my computer too but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? or has this happened to anyone else but been fine on test day?

PT 9, S2, Q12:
I was looking for an answer choice that said something along the lines of non-purebred dogs being just as expensive for reasons other than genetically determined abnormalities and thought B addressed that. Is A correct because it's stating that even if there are genetic abnormalities, it is not necessary to treat them through surgery and cost-intensive procedures because the overall health of the dogs is fine? What was wrong with my reasoning and why is B wrong?
PT 10, S1, Q16
Found this question difficult overall, still don't understand what I'm supposed to be looking for in the correct answer. Asteroid-collision with the Earth was the popular theory but new theory available so question stem is asking to weaken the asteroid-collision theory? If so, how does E weaken? #help
I am struggling with this question-could someone help? I am struggling to understand the premise as well!
Thank you!
How was the test everyone? Any specifics or any news?
Hi can you please explain the question stem; what is it asking? And the answer choices.
I'm confused on what ac B is trying to convey. Is it trying to state that he should not have inferred that just because some people did not like the segment, others must have OR is it stating that he should have inferred but did not that since some did not like the segment, others must have. I interpreted the latter which is why I eliminated the ac but if the former is true, this choice makes sense as the correct answer.

How is answer C and D different??
Someone explain why D is correct
I am currently just focused on studying. Any suggestions on how. I can achieve 160+
Registered for the September LSAT. Scoring 154-157 on PTs. Goal score is 160. I’ve made a 10+ point increase simply by drilling and reading. Starting to realize I need to hone in on specific question types I’m getting wrong and keep doing them until I have a solid understanding of those question types. With this new study method, is it realistic to reach my goal score in exactly one month or should I push back my test to October?
I am looking to take the November LSAT and have 3 months to study. I am having trouble navigating the 7sage curriculum and see if it is possible to do so in 3 months while working full time. I recognize the ambitious time goal, but it is unfortunately my reality. (Looking to apply this cycle due to finances and health insurance)
Any recommendations? How can I get the most out of 7sage in 3 months? Any advice is greatly appreciated! TIA!!
I am starting to think maybe Law school isn’t right for me. The highest I’ve gotten on practice tests is a 140. I’ve studied for over a year.
I am taking the LSAT this Saturday and I have been consistently scoring a 154. I really want a 158-160 as this would greatly help my chances at some of the schools I am applying to. Are there any last minute tips or tricks that might help to get a few more questions right? Some tricks for specifically the RC or LR sections would be great!
I don't understand why the answer is D. I know why the answer is not A, B, C, or E. But D doesn't make sense to me. What is the exact characteristic being discussed? Is it the tendrils on the new orchid species or "pollinated solely by insects"? Also, where in the argument does it claim that something is unique.
Can you complete the writing sample after you take the test? I know that it opened eight days before but will it close once you take the actual test? Is there a deadline?
For arguments that falsely conclude causation from correlation, can you strengthen the argument through an answer choice that demonstrates that the same cause has the same effect? For instance, if the argument says that a study indicated that most people who eat ice cream feel sick because of the dairy in the ice cream, and an answer choice said that most people who drink cows' milk feel sick, would that strengthen the argument? Conversely, could I weaken the argument by saying that most people who eat vegan ice cream still feel sick?
Can someone please explain how they got to the right answer? I see that it is E, but how does it strengthen it?
I am taking the LSAT in September so it's crunch time! When y'all are printing out the games are you doing the same game back-to-back or switching them up? I'm afraid I'll just be memorizing the answers and not actually figuring out the game.
I am taking the LSAT on Friday (Aug. 12) and have been having trouble with logic games. By mid-July, I was often getting -0 to -2 on LG sections, both in PTs and in drills. However, in the last two weeks, my LG performance has gotten worse, ranging from -3 to -6. This usually happens in PTs; when I drill, I still get around -2 or -1.
My problem doesn't seem to be with the setup (I practically always set the games up how JY does in each explanation video). I also nearly always get -0 on BR, so I think I am understanding the material well enough. My problem seems to be something more psychological: I think I'm psyching myself out and can't perform under pressure.
Does anyone have any tips for issues with psyching yourself out or something similar? It's very frustrating because I know my goal score is within my abilities!
I’ve heard that this is the number one way to increase your RC score because it improves focus. I’m pretty sure I have adhd, or at least add, but I’d like some tips on how to stay interested regardless. Whenever I hit a science passage it’s way harder for me to stay interested (and thereby stay focused, which impacts my ability to understand anything). As opposed to humanities passages, which are usually more interesting and relatable. What can I do? I love learning new things, but with the time constraints of the test and because they give us four passages, it’s hard for me to remain fully committed the whole time.
This is going to be my second time taking the exam but I'm seeing the button to purchase score preview. Is anyone else seeing this? Is this something worth to do?
My schooling failed me when I comes to basic grammar and I’m not sure how to navigate this whole new beast of LSAT grammar. Tips would be appreciated!!
