Just got the book. What's been a good method for folks as far as how to use the trainer in combo with 7 sage?

@ with all due respect be careful with taking the approach that since you have been good at taking tests in the past that you will naturally excel come test day. While you said you are still in the curriculum, you should begin doing full sections and tests under very strict time constraints once you have progressed through the course. "Make training a priority because under pressure you will not rise to the occasion but sink to the level of your training". Stay positive but be prepared
Edit: Link broken, you have to go to lsac.org yourself. :(
Hey,
So I have recently started out the 7sage curriculum. My biggest weakness in the past was Logic Games so I have really been focusing on the LG curriculum and making good strides. I feel as if my PTs will be essentially wasted if I take them without fully going through all of the LG curriculum. My RC and LR are not bad, I just want to improve on my LG score for the time being. Therefore, I was planning on knocking out the rest of the LG curriculum before I start taking PTs for the October LSAT. I hope to be done by the end of June with the LG curriculum and then begin taking PTs along with drilling RC and LR through the 7sage curriculum through July, August, and September.
Do you guys have thoughts on this approach/have others used a similar approach and been successful?
Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

I see you Emeril.
For many of us, this is a long process. It will most likely not be a steady incline toward your goal. With that being said, you will have your ups and your (many) downs, but keep a level head and keep plugging away.
It wasn't but 10 days ago I was feeling pretty hopeless after regressing about 10 points back to my diagnostic score. After taking a few days off and getting some much needed encouragement by lurking through the 7sage forums, I got back at it and not only did I get back to where I was, I actually surpassed my previous high score (+3) and met my goal score when I took PT72 today.
Y'all have helped me tremendously, so I just wanted to send some encouragement to anyone who may need it. Keep goin!
@ what PT is the TV game?
Hey @
Just pick one and keep the other indicator as a negation.
For example, Jared cannot go to the park unless Kate goes.
Using group 3 or 4, you will get /K-->/J or the logically equivalent contrapositive J-->K
I tried the watch from 35minutes.com. Took two weeks to get to me. After it finally did, it broke the second day I was using it (during a PT, of course)
For this problem, I nailed it down to B and the correct answer D. However, I chose answer B because I thought that D almost proved the point of B as the conclusion. In a sense, because we know that Pluto is not the sole cause of the irregularity, then we know that it is even more irregular than scientists previously anticipated. Thoughts?
This reminded me of a great quote in favor of doing 5 section PTs in preparation for the real day.
"Make training a priority because under pressure you don't rise to the occasion, you sink to the level of your training"
This has really made me think about getting one. Unfortunately, they are not cheap. I understand it is an investment, but I do not need expensive Ivy-League grads editing my PS and Resume. I am looking at top schools in my region, and I just don't know that would be necessary. Does anyone have a good review of a (decently) affordable consultant?
I just recently went through this section. The first day, I was doing some of the problems and it just wasn't clicking. I got almost every problem I tried wrong so I stopped about halfway through the sample problems on 7sage. I took about a week off, worked on other aspects, and came back to NA today. After reviewing how to approach these questions, I answered almost all of the remaining questions I had correctly
@ I agree. But the app says have you ever been charged/warned/sanctioned for any academic or misconduct. I forgot about it
I need to submit to an explanation I got for a minor warning about guests when my buddy visited me freshman year of college AND I'd like to add an LSAT addendum I recently wrote (16 point difference). What do you guys think? It is considered bad form to submit an addendum after you have completed and sent in your application about 2 weeks earlier? This would be for just one application I sent in earlier than the rest...
Can anyone experienced with Character & Fitness essays take a quick look over mine to see if I should add/revise anything? It's only two short paragraphs. PM me please
Just one from Arizona Summit :'}
@ for the candidates they want
and that will boost their statistics haha
For those that took this test, are there any games that you can think of that mirror the inferences on this game that we could use for practice?
Does anyone have a LOCI that they've used and wouldn't mind PMing me to see as a sample? I am currently in the process of constructing one for a school I am still waiting to hear from...any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
You've never heard of the Sultan of Swat? The Titan of Terror? The Colossus of Clout? The King of Crash?
It's a book written by Mike Kim. You can purchase it off Amazon for about $40. Many people on here highly recommend it due to its clear, concise portrayal of its concepts. It's a pretty easy read and it has problem sets.
Most notably, it's known for its great explanation on Flaws. It really helped me to see how subjective question types have a flaw in the argument that needs to be assessed. In addition, the RC portion is phenomenal for its discussion on seeing the big picture of each passage and not getting sucked into details, as many do.
In my opinion, for only about $40, you're doing yourself a disservice by not getting your hands on it.
@ that sounds about good. Under most of the LG explanation videos here on 7sage there is a target time. Otherwise, JY often mentions it in the beginning of the videos or in the comments below it. Keep aiming below those target times and you will be set...and don't forget to take full LG sections all together instead of simply doing individual games
If anyone taking the October test is looking to sell their 180 watch pm me please!
I am in for each workshop. Thank you all you guys are awesome
@ download the 7Sage app and use the proctor tool. You can adjust settings for background noise and distractions
