Does anybody care to give me insight into a real-time strategy for handling Q15 fast during a real test when time counts?

I understand that skipping it could save time because typing the words into control F is wasting time, and the line numbers aren't listed on the passages on this site. I'm curious how to attack this in a better way if I choose to do so.

I find that my eyes will read the words, especially with passages like this (boring) but my brain doesn't. the problem is certainly exacerbated by it being my first passage of the day but would still exist.

any tips?

I am finding that i understand these intuitively in most cases and that when i try to go really deep i end up losing the plot. It is kind of counterintuitive but they way it seems is that i can subliminally understand the relationships and then find the matching answer without fully mapping it in my head.

I don't know if that makes sense to anyone but me, but I'm curious if anyone else is having a similar experience.

I really thought that the word "Solely" in answer A made it wrong. OOOOOOOOF

It's a challenge for me to know when to pick answers that address the premises directly and when to pick the ones that are less related but still make sense as answers when under a time crunch.

is there any general rule to use to eliminate related/unrelated answer choices? the words "If true" in the questions make this difficult to determine.

It was between A and C for me and I chose C because of the wording "It is" compared to "most" used in answer A. From my perspective, both were equally good and I don't understand how to work out that A is better when it's so close.

considering it says "If true" B is still a good answer. assuming it is true it provides a reason for the recommendation. D could be incrementally better or worse, either could be argued. nonsense like this is why the lsat should just be removed, there's gotta be a better way to admit people.

I don't understand why "a politician can neither be reelected nor avoid censure if that politician is known to be involved in any serious scandal." isn't applied as two parts of a conditional statement. if a politician is not involved in a scandal they could avoid censure based on my interpretation because it depends on the IF of a scandal. if the necessary condition of a scandal doesn't occur then they wouldn't be subject to the subsequent scrutiny.

the word "If" implies that it is a possibility but not a certainty, meaning that the scandal can be known but does not have to be by the colleagues.

if the scandal is known, they are subject to censure and whatnot, but the statement does include the possibility of involvement in a scandal without detection; therefore, answer E isn't incorrect.

answer A shouldn't be true because it assumes a certain condition without it being stated.

I feel like this is one of the ones where the correct answer is the least bad, but not an actual good answer. It's consistent but that is about it.
