@JohnThorn I think starting off its better for us to focus on understanding the concepts and being accurate and then later down the road focus on timing
I get confused by this because I thought a rule of thumb is to never make assumptions on the LSAT
some arguments are stronger than other because the premises are stronger which lead to a valid conclusion. Also, if your premise are strong which lead to a valid conclusion that is good support for your argument.
@Aaron Kamau Jr i think once you are done with the learning plan.
does this get more intuitive with more practice, because right now I cant grasp it
How is the second idea in number 3 already negative?
@Kihla333 what did you do
omg 5/5 I can't believe it.
4/5, 5 kind of tripped me up
yeah im cooked for sure
so its still a good rule of thumb to not use your outside knowledge on the test?
when you put it like this, it makes more sense.
so would an example be Birmingham (subset) and Alabama (superset). Birmingham is sufficient for living in Alabama, but not necessary. Living in Alabama is necessary to live in Birmingham.
@MelanieGonzalez probably online, because I live in Alabama
I can't believe I actually got this right.
@SusanLeifker my brain still can't comprehend it.
@MateoAgudelo yeah I broke it down as some cultivars of corns vs most other cultivars of corn. And the comparison would be which are more closely related morphologically to sorghum.
will this become intuitive, because how will I have enough time on the test to do this?
@GabGauthier yes it matter. on the right side of the arrow will be the sufficient condition and the left side of the arrow is the necessary condition.
