While it can feel like these skills in this earlier part of studying feel tangential to the LSAT, I'm grateful for re-learning these at a post-graduate level. These will help with the LSAT, of course, but they'll also help day to day in some part
NUTS only 4/5. I thought Q4 was a trick question without referentials. Overthought again.
@KyleWelch Wholeheartedly agree. However its important to keep positivity in mind. Skill builders are there to provide you with a solid foundation before you apply yourself. You and I are only going to learn these skills by drilling again and again in order to adequately develop the 'mental muscles'
@GDatria715 I thought it was the same at first (You're not alone) the wording is changed slightly. Easy to miss, no shame upon ye
Ah nuts, only 4/5 this time. I assumed that the conclusion of Q5 was the short snipet about nutritionists seeing a surge in obesity rates with the support coming from the fast food boom, decreased activity, and dietary habits. I am a bit of an over-thinker so this one's definitely on me, bros
Q1 almost made me think it wasn't an argument. Its almost not phrased as one, but digging into it and rereading it twice I saw what it was arguing and how. Rereading takes time, but a lot of the time it is invaluable in catching these kind of details
5/5 again, thank goodness. I kept double checking Q2, but I was right that it doesn't have an argument. I was thinking that the conclusion was the tidbit about the whole 'conclusion that red pandas separated blah blah blah' but it just sortof flows like an excerpt from an article not arguing anything.
Good lord I'm surprised I keep getting 5/5s. My brain was kinda fried when I did Q2 and I had to re-read it like 6 times even after taking a short breather. Any folks have tips on how to eliminate brain fog/regain focus to get back to studying?
