B tricked me with grammer, there was a must which indicated necessary.
at 9:06 I think the narrator meant to say, it cant be an assumption. They instead said "it can't be a conclusion"
yes, I totally agree. The explanation brought about more confusion, than clarity.
I totally answered it like it was a strengthen question, and got the answer totally wrong!
Thats exactly what I am trying to figure out.
I did not answer the question stem, pretty much guessed the rignt answer. The first sentence in the stimulus, read like the company has no qualified candidates for the new position.
I found a great explanation on YouTube from Kevin Lin.
E seemed like a more concise principle for the stimulus. ie. The hospitals purpose was to serve the public, the staffs purpose was to gain some sort of selfish purpose and both needs were being met.
omg same! I thought I was the only one, sometimes I stop listening and come straigh to comments after I get a question right.
me tooooo!!!! omg
Same! literally crying, just felt like it was not clicking. Was on the verge of not even completing this set because I felt defeated. Gave it my best shot, and turned out I got all right, except the easy one lol
I need help! the stimulus was a difficult read for me eventhough its short.
Love the motivational pieces, I just wonder why no one shares the original score?
yes, I believe he tends to get carried away and it doesnt help me much, just confuses me more. But I think its the narrator's way of trying to show us how we should be thinking. Its just not helpful sometimes, especially when the examples and thoughts are all over the place.
Thank you, so much clearer and got straight to the point. I was so confused by the explanation in the video.
yes, I am trying to figure out if my thought process and reasoning was correct?
No, I do not have a study group yet. Yes I am interested in starting one. Please email me at Sheniquereid1@gmail.com
for #4, Indicator (No) group 4 negate and make necessary I chose to negate Invited (/Invited). because I felt it worked better with the rules given . and RSVP had not infront so technically it was already negated.
So I got:
/RSVP---------> /Invited
/RSVP(r)
_
/Invited
The indicator list is just a guide, they are not all inclusive, we may need to see if the indicator present in the clause is similar in meaning, to the words in our list. Group 4 has no, none, not both, cannot, (Never), kind of fits right in.
which would ultimately make the contrapositive make more sense.
wm------->oms
/oms------->/wm (If they did not survive, they were not eventually written down)
question #3 has "only" which falls into group two. so shouldn't it be
wm-------> oms?
This was my answer for Q2: (otherwise)- refers to the phrase (In rejecting the plan proposed by parliament to reform the electoral process, the president clearly acted in the best interests of the nation.). Meaning the people who does not agree that the president acted in the best decision should pay more attention, because the president made his actions known to the public.
I do not understand how the answer provided gives clarity to the meaning of the sentence. It just doesn't make any sense to me that "acted" is referring to the same thing as "this decision".
("acted" and "this decision" refer to "In rejecting the plan proposed by parliament to reform the electoral process"
"otherwise" refers to "not-the president clearly acted in the best interests of the nation")
On test day I would suggest writing it in your head, taking actual time to write it on paper may take up 30 seconds you dont have.
