😊 Happy

Portland, OR Study Group

In person would be awesome, but I'm also down to virtual study with anyone who can accommodate Pacific time. I've broken into the 170s and want to stay there and push myself higher before Aug/Sept. Let's study!

@Kevin_Lin seeing the correct process in action could help it become more mechanical for us. See question type X, read stimulus, recognise the pattern, predict, answer.

If plant A was more productive than Plant B BEFORE the study, then any increase could be attributed to that rather than the independent variable. the stimulus doesn't establish a baseline and that is a MAJOR weakness this answer shores up. but also I see why this doesn't HAVE to help, just becuase they were productive before doesn't mean they will continue to be, but this question stinks.

I linked C to: the frequency of positively associated words doesn't indicate mood bc maybe people are lying on social, so they overlook that another method of communication's word frequency might give a more accurate account. Is a problem with this AC that it requires a second assumption? Maybe I was too tied to my prephrase of 'they overlook that social media isn't representative of moods'

10/10 recommend Stevan as a tutor. I have a much better understanding of what the test wants of me now and how to approach the questions. A strong prephrase can take you far!

I don't like it - It can make me not want to blind review, or second guess myself/lead me right to the answer right before I blind review so I'm not learning as much from my mistakes. If I get it wrong and I was torn between two, it's hard to pretend or to forget the other choice before BR which leads me to less learning. The gains come from the figuring out, and this seems like a shortcut. Perhaps it's because I'm so early in my journey that I'm less concerned about accuracy and more about learning from mistakes. I might like this feature more later on when I'm more skilled and focused on drilling.

I would suggest being able to toggle this on and off on the drilling page, and saving right/wrong for after BR.
