Hello everyone, I am looking for 1/2 people to form a study group; the idea is we keep each other accountable in our studying leading up to test day. Some things we can do: set a number of (X) sections we have to complete by the end of every week, do some blind review together, discuss difficult questions, share tips etc. Shoot me a private message.

Hi everyone! I’m looking to start a study group that will meet at least once a week for 2 hours where we go over questions/share information/hold each other accountable. I want this to be an interactive community where we can support and learn from each other. Would anyone be interested in joining?

Hey guys, I started my LSAT journey about a month ago with 138 diagnostic and now hitting somewhere between 148 and 150. I understand that it's progress, however, at times I seem discouraged by my score still. I'm only through about 25% of the material, mostly on logic games, and I only started LR last week. Would you recommend that I go through the lessons first then take practice tests, or should I continue doing both. Also, any tips on how to work on focusing during taking the questions, my mind seems to get bugged down with so much details that feel crippling at times. TIA and good luck with your LSAT journey!

Are you a 7Sage user looking for people to study with? Wish there was an easy way to get paired up?

You're in luck! Join us for our next "Study Group Breakout" on Wednesday, August 31st from 9:00-10:30pm ET.

Here's how it works:

  • Register for the Breakout no later than Tuesday, August 30th.
  • Take PT47 Section 1 (based on 7Sage's numbering - should be an LR section) and blind review it, but DON'T look at the answers (I suggest you take it as a "Drill" rather than as a PrepTest)!
  • Log in to the Breakout Session at the appointed time. We will automatically place you in a group of 3-5 students with similar scores so you can review the section together.
  • At the end of the session, you can exchange emails and keep meeting if you enjoyed the group.
  • Hope to see you there! Register for the event using this link:

Hi all, I have a study group and looking to add a few more active people into it. We usually have section BR's on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Please only reply if you're on MST/PST so that the scheduling works with everyone. Just send a private message to me and I can add you to the group. Thanks!

Hello, I am looking for a study group who is planning on taking the November and or January LSAT for Fall 2023. I have been studying for almost a month (would have been more but its on and off). I am currently living in Spokane Washington :)

    Hi,

I have decided to push back my test date and give myself more time to study. I saw that someone else had a great success with using the “teaching” method to get better in different sections. I thought maybe we can recreate this and try to improve. I am very good with LG with consistently averaging -0 incorrect on it but struggling with LR section. I thought we could use the teaching method to help each other improve.

What I was hoping was to have a day or two each week were we switch off being the “teacher” and try to teach each other a section of the LSAT. This would force you and I to be on the spot and convince each other on the correct answer for each question. I really think this would help each other to force us to think through the questions and hone in on our fundamental.

I am not sure if I explained this well but if you’re still here and interested, lmk and I’ll set up a group me or WhatsApp group chat to facilitate our study.

Hey y'all! I took the LSAT in June 2022 and planning to retake in October and I'm looking for a study group that also plans to take the exam in October. My time zone is in EST, but of course willing to meet at times that accommodates everyone and work asynchronously too!

I'm looking to study together live on Zoom daily and take a practice exam weekly (subject to change). If anyone is interested, PM me or comment below and I can add you to the Slack channel!

Hi everyone! A week ago I posted about starting a 2023 Study Group that was really focused on consistency in practice, weekly virtual meetings, peer-to-peer teaching, and a strong LSAT studying community. I got lots of positive feedback and finally created a group through LSAT Science, which you can request to join here : https://www.lsatscience.com/groups (the 2023 173+ LSAT Study Group).

There is a lot of scientific evidence showing that teaching someone else a subject helps you to understand that topic better and preform at a higher rate academically. I'm hoping that this group can function in such a way - where we help others in subjects we're stronger at related to the LSAT, and receive advice/feedback in subjects we're weaker with.

I want nothing more than for this group to be inclusive and to hold each other accountable in our work. That being said, I'm asking that only driven and serious test takers request to join this group, as I've been a member of groups before where collaborative work/feedback and really any peer interaction was absent. If this sounds like you, and you'd love to actively engage and participate in a study group, please feel free to join! All are welcome.

I'm looking to form a small discussion group to compare notes on strategies and procedures.

This is not a study group for going over BRs, reviewing fundamental skills, or keeping each other accountable. All those resources are widely available, rather I'd like to discuss the small marginal improvements in efficiency which will give us the edge needed to consistently break 170.

We'll do weekly discussions over Discord.

    (Day and time TBD)

    Please comment if you are:

  • Interested in discussing novel approaches
  • Average ~165 or higher on your PTs
  • Looking to break into the 99th percentile
  • Are studying for the Aug, Sept, Oct exam
  • 11

    Hey guys!

I would like to gather 4-5 people who will be responsible to join for regular zoom study sessions.

I am currently scoring mid-160, and is aiming for 175+ for the upcoming Oct exam. (Never set your goals too low haha)

Anyway, I am thinking about holding 3 meetings per week (Any three days during the week, but staring at 10 am ET). I am expecting about 1hr30ms-2hrs per study session. I am currently in South Korea, so people in similar time zones would be preferred (10am ET equals 11pm KST)

So please comment or message me if you are available during that time.

    Thanks :>

Hi all! Wondering if anyone is interested in a Saturday study group 9 or 10am CT (depending on interest). Instead of wanting to reach a certain score, we'll be focusing on our worst section specific questions. :) Comment if interested!

Edit: Zoom links to both classes on 7/23 are below in chat.

Thread is closed. Group has been selected.

    Hi,

I am looking for a study buddy who is aiming for a 170+. My first prep score is 168. I would like to meet over Zoom once a week, on weekends, to "discuss" difficult problems. The true aim for this study would be not going over all of the PT Qs in a swift, but really ponder the difficult/hard questions, and discuss about them in depth. I truly believe that it is not about the quantity but the quality of the reviews on the questions - "in depth analysis" on 2~3 questions per session would be way better than merely "going over" 20 questions.

Anyone who agrees on my approach, please feel free to reach out to me, and we will discuss the details! Thanks!

I’m looking for a study buddy to hold each other accountable! I’m planning to study 30+ hours a week mainly evenings (7-10ish) for Sundays to Wednesdays and all day Thursdays to Saturdays. My first diagnostic was a 161 and aiming for a 172-175 eventually.

Im looking for someone who can just work in silent with over discord calls, but also maybe chat and be friendly with when we want to take a break. (The presence helps a lot).

Add me on discord if interested! xtt#8183

Hi all! I'm just now beginning my LSAT prep and hoping to take it sometime in the Spring next year. I wanted to make a study group that meets WEEKLY (Please don't join this group if you aren't willing to seriously meet!) to keep each other on track, ask questions, etc. I would love for this group to be encouraging and consistent as we approach the LSAT!
