Note:

  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able on your own; then join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it.” KEEP THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOURSELF. Win the argument with your reasoning.
  • These groups work best when folks from ALL stages of prep and with all different goals join in! Not just for "super-preppers" and definitely not just for the casual LSATer (does such a person exist?).
  • The only expectation anyone has for these calls is for you to have fun and ask questions as you desire. We are just a bunch of LSAT lovers who gather via GoToMeeting and intellectually slaughter each test.
  • Hello everyone, I wanted to see if there was anyone studying for the LSAT in Vancouver, BC that was interested in meeting up sometime. I know there was a meet up recently; unfortunately I had plans that evening and was not able to attend. I think it would be nice to meet some Vancouverite 7Sagers. I don't know anyone studying for the LSAT in my area, and I think having a support group would be a great idea!

I may or may not have staged a coup to take over the reins of the BR Groups from dear @DumbHollywoodActor . May or may not have.

    RISE to the occasion.

    How much prep?

So I scored a 151 on the Feb LSAT; I did about 11 weeks of self prep with moderate effort. I admit, the LSAT was tougher than I expected, and that's why I'm here. I know that many people prep for the LSAT for months, and sometimes years. This is just not realistic for me. I'm curious, in this community's opinion, what amount of time do I need to dedicate to raising my score into the mid to high 150s? Really aiming for a 157. I know LSAC says their data indicate that most 2nd timers improve 2.8 points, and 3rd timers 2.2, on average. I'm looking to realize those improvements on my second run. Thanks for your input.

    June BR Group Schedule: http://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/6171/june-test-takers-group-br-schedule-updated

NOTE: I front-loaded the PT 70 - 75 because I believe that people need to get eyes on 70s sooner rather than later. We’ll still have PT 76 and 77 available to PT in May. Trust me when I say it is worth it to do these tests twice. And if you don’t feel comfortable hitting the 70s yet, don’t worry. We’re going to repeat this cycle of PT 70-75 at the end of February just in case.

    BR GROUP NOTES:

  • If you want to attend these sessions, you MUST click that link.
  • Here’s an FAQ on GoToMeeting.com: http://www.gotomeeting.com/meeting/online-meeting-support
  • Then, download the application (for your computer or mobile device).
  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able; join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it.” Use your reasoning.

  • Feb peeps! Please take a look at this tentative schedule below and comment your thoughts/revisions. You should also add me on Skype. My username is dmlevine76 . Please include in your friend request message that you want to get into the February Group .

NOTE: I front-loaded the PT 70s for Fridays because I believe that people need to get eyes on 70s sooner rather than later. We’ll still have PT 76 and PT 77 available to PT in February. After we’ve finished the 70s, we could do the lower 40s on Fridays. Trust me when I say it is worth it to do these tests twice.

    Note:

  • For the newbies and regulars: Add me on Skype, using handle dmlevine76.
  • Note:PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR FRIEND REQUEST

MESSAGE THAT YOU WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE

    FEBRUARY TEST GROUP.

We’ll now have two sets of Skype chats going on

(quite literally at the same time), and the potential

for miscommunication is pretty high. Thanks for your help.

  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able; join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.

We’re going to repeat this cycle of PT 70-75 at the end of February just in case.
