it must be true that A is supporting cooper! But the conclusion is FALSE. does it mean they ONLY want more business? what if there's other reasons.

Since mass can be determined by the brightness, if the brightness is lower than previously thought, shouldn't it be that the mass is also higher than previously thought? If the brightness was thought to be 40% and mass 50 but brightness is actually 20, wouldn't the mass also be less than 50, hence lower than previously thought?

I'm not sure I understand this question - what does 60 times less light mean? Is that supposed to be an absolute number? It seems pretty relative to me.

Do you guys type the stimulus and AC or is there a way we can copy the words and save some time? The screenshot is not quite convenient for me because I'm not using an iPad. Thanks!>

I am just wondering where the spell check function is on the lsat writing interface? Also, I am wondering you copy and paste? I just wrote it and neither worked for me, although they work via my keyboard and automatically during the practice test.

One of the main things that pushed me to law and wanting to become a lawyer was seeing one of my close family members grapple with addiction and how it affected me and my family. Is this an appropriate topic to write about for my personal statement or should I try to do something else?

I have asked a former professor for a letter of recommendation and he accepted to write it. I want to send him a package including all the relevant materials for the application. I do not have my personal statement yet, but I thought of writing a reflection notes on what I learned from his class, and how that is going to help me in law school. I couldn't find more information on this, but is this a good idea? Will the notes help the professor in any way while writing the LOR?

Hello, I took the August 2022 LSAT and the LG section had me very confused. I had never seen anything like it and when kept looking around at my practice tests for something similar, I was still unable to find something like the one I had on the test day. Would you be able to provide any assistance in pointing me in the correct direction, I do not want to make the same mistake on my next test.

I have an extension on my browser called DarkReader which basically turns every white color to black to minimize eye strain. It basically acts as a universal "dark mode". Would the proctors allow me to use this?

HI ya'll I was wondering if anyone is from the LA area or from the SFV area and is interested in organizing an in person study group. I noticed there are alot of people forming groups and I would be interested in studying with other individuals. I plan to take the LSAT in the Summer! Will doing all the problem sets mess up my ability to take the practice LSATs? If anyone here did all the problem sets and then encountered the same questions in the LSAT, please let me know if it messed with your ability to accurately take the practice LSATs.

Hi guys I have been doing WAJ for the past couple of weeks. The way I did it was firstly copy&paste screenshot into my ipad notebook and then write explanations on it. Then I switched to make a drill of every question I missed or had doubt with and download that as a pdf. to write notes on. While I found this process to be smooth, I would rarely go back to these individual pdfs because the amount is getting big.

I wonder if I could somehow find a way to incorporate these notes into one document? I am thinking about perhaps doing an excel, but because I would like the stimulus included, I don't wanna do any extra, unnecessary work by somehow copy&pasting or screenshooting into excel; I already don't have enough time to actually practice because I have been spending so much time on BRing and reviewing wrong questions.

When answering the prompt, should you introduce the topic as though you are speaking to someone who doesn't know anything about the topic or as a response to a question? In other words, should you introduce the options at the beginning of the essay or just start with the answer?

Hello everyone. I have some questions regarding when and how to explain a GPA below a school’s median.

Essentially, I was majoring in Biology during my freshman year of college which was something kinda pushed onto me by my parents and not something I wanted to pursue. In addition to this, I moved houses during my very first semester of college and COVID hit during the middle of my second semester. After performing poorly these first 2 semester in college I decided to switch majors to Psychology and went on to earn an A in every single class I took from there until I graduated. Unfortunately, the failing grades I earned those semesters are counted by the LSAC’s cumulative GPA despite me graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.98 GPA. This brings my LSAC GPA to a 3.45. I know, yikes.

Is this something worth writing an addendum for? How will law school view me switching majors and my drastic change in grades?

In another discussion post about this question (the only other post about this question), one of the responses stated:

the crux of the argument lies in the second part of the second sentence where the author makes an explicit attempt at underlining the underlying logic: "but the absence of sightings cannot prove that it does not (exist)".

In lawgic that's: if there's absence, then we cannot prove non-existence.

Absence --> /prove

In order to weaken the argument, we need to find something that's loosely along the lines of: if there's absence, then that might actually mean non-existence.

(E) encapsulates this best.

But his underlying logic doesn't really make sense to me. If Absence of sightings -> cannot prove yeti does not exist, then the contrapositive is: prove yeti does not exist -> some sightings. The contrapositive doesn't make intuitive sense. If we prove that the yeti does not exist, then there must be some sightings of the yeti? That sounds like the complete opposite of what is necessary to prove something does not exist.

How does answer choice E weaken the argument? Is focusing on the underlying logic in the final sentence the best way to approach this question?

No specifics about the test, just a general question regarding experimental sections. Are experimental sections used multiple times in different years? For example, if a section was included in an administration last year or 2 years ago etc., would its inclusion in a current administration mean it was experimental previously but is now the graded section OR would it be experimental again?

Has anyone ever gotten an exception to the three test per year rule and took it a fourth time?

Can we take a preptest again if we've already done so, and if so, how do we do that? Also, can we do the preptest untimed? I understand we do that during the blind review, but can we chose to change the time
