I find that I can overwhelm myself, when there is no reason to be overwhelmed, for questions dealing with a lot of different variables. They typically manifest in: studies consisting of numbers/percentages, rising/lowering of levels (usually these appear physiologically), etc.

For instance, I took PT 89 and completely overwhelmed myself on 89.S4.Q23 (strengthening question about turmeric). In BR I was kicking myself because, had I stayed calm, organized and kept track of all the variables...I could have gotten it right!

Do you have a different method of approach for stimuli where you feel there's 'a lot' going on?

Hey everyone, I am new to 7sage and I am just wondering if the problem sets in the core curriculum should be done all at once. I have been trying to find out if I should save them or knock them all off at once. I am only two weeks into my study but I am getting a little bored with the problem sets. I think it is because I did study for a few months a few years ago so I think maybe I know the fundamentals and should keep the problem sets for when I am confused. Or if I find out I have a problem with a question type later on. I was hoping someone could tell me what they do.

The last couple sentences of the passage say that there are a couple constraints to the method, but then the MP question says nothing about the constraints only about how the method is good? Im confused.

I used Loophole + my own method to make the LR formulaic as much as i could atleast. This method will help with NA, weakness, and strengthening questions for most part. other questions are i think much easier

P1: Infection with vaccine is coincidence

Conclusion: Vaccine is not of any concern

Loophole "what if" method apply leading to negated conclusion to show it can be of concern

"What if" x can be of a concern

What if infection with vaccine has worse outcome then it is of concern.

NA would be: infection with vaccine is same outcome/severity

Weakness: Worse severity

Strengthening: same or lesser severity

I sent all my applications in December, and I've received 2 WL so far (albeit they were reach schools). The other 10 target schools are pending a decision, and I wondered if it's too late to send additional material like a diversity statement to help with my application? I just thought of an excellent topic for my diversity statement and am unsure if sending it will be beneficial for my application. (I also feel very sure that this statement is much stronger than my personal statement, I just regret not thinking about this topic back then).

If it's not ideal for sending a diversity statement now, should I wait until I get WL to send the diversity statement along with a LOCI? Or am I just too late?

I was wondering if anyone had ideas about things to do in your free time or like on the bus. Does sudoku really help? I play a lot of chess and thought that would maybe help. Aside from that probably getting exercise would help keep your mind sharp.

Omg guys I am freaking tf out. I was in the middle of taking my exam and during the intermission I grabbed my phone to put it in the other room and when the proctor had me rescan the room she cancelled the exam because I touched my phone. What are the chances of the LSAC letting me retake my LSAT for January?? Looks like Columbia only considers score from LSAT taken after Jun-2017 as valid for this cycle.

This is a big difference than ALL T14 schools and LSAC itself that considers any score from June-2016 or after as "valid" for current cycle. (The rule is score has to be within 5 years prior to current cycle so that makes anything after June-2016 as valid).

I'm at the margin with a lsat score from Fall-2016 and was planning to apply.

Hi. I’m looking for a study group to join the for Feb 2022 test. I’m in CST. I can usually meet anytime between 1pm to 7pm CST.

The title says it all but I'd really like to know what exactly do you do when you get questions incorrect for RC, especially confidence errors? I have questions where I literally cite the lines I get my answers from and it still turns out to be...incorrect. My first instinct is to look at the answer key after BR and the 7sage video but I'd like to get any tips on how to improve my protocol because the routine I've been doing isn't getting me beyond the mid-160's.

And as always, if anyone reading this post is exceptional with RC, I am also open to any one-on-one tutoring you could provide. If that is the case, I would like to see your score first and have a trial lesson before I fully commit. I want someone who could teach me some overarching concepts about RC because I've been mainly focused on trying to understand the content of the passages alone and it isn't working. I categorized this post as RC but honestly, it can extend to LR as well. And I will pay you by hour after the session is over before we log off zoom.

A professor kindly submitted a LOR for me through LSAC on 12/16. The status changed from requested to received. I've checked in around 1/4 and the status had once again changed from received to requested. I've talked with LSAC and they are just asking that I request for the Professor to submit the LOR again. Has this happen to anyone else? LSAC has not been of much help in this process at all.

I am not really certain how legal education works, but I know bars are state specific. If one goes out of state school, nearby, would we then have harder time preparing for bar. Again, I am not sure how legal education goes but assuming schools of specific state would give preference to teaching laws of that state to prepare students for that state bar. Any inputs would be much appreciated. Thank you!

How does the process of registering for the test date work? Once I register and pay do I have the option to withdraw or cancel it?

Do the spots fill up quick or would it be okay to wait later? Do we pick our time to write the test the same time we register or do actual test times come out later?

Hey y'all! I am 3 weeks into my LSAT study prep and I'm wondering whether the study schedule or syllabus option is best. I have just been going though the syllabus every day and while its working, I don't know if I should be focusing more on how the study schedule sets up the material. Is it fine to just go through the syllabus or should I abide by the study schedule they generate? I am planning to take the test in 3-6 months.

Can I cancel my mark after the scores are released?

Intuitively I chose E, but then crossed it out because the passage did not specifically state what is "good journalistic practice".

Chose B but then understood why it was wrong- I made an assumption about "interesting".
