Does anyone know the answer?

I chose (E) as my answer because "Selfish individualism" which was suggested as a menace to the integrity of society is not necessarily equivalent to the concept of selfishness, a fundamental motivator of human actions throughout the history (at least in this passage). There is a missing link which remains unexplained to bridge the gap between these two. I thought it was a snake-oil seller tactic switching terms in the vicinity with no proper justification. (A) is improper as there would have been no reason to defy the relevance of that argument in this passage iff he/she had offered us a coherent concept of excessive self-interest. Instead of reducing one of the social ills that epitomized the decade to "Selfish individualism", the author could have said "selfishness". Then, the whole passage can adhere to one particular theme with congruity. (B) is not germane to the argument because no numeric data is demanded whose absence can dismantle the validity of the argument entirely. It could undermine or weaken its cogency at best. (C) is the opposite of the argument. The writer perceives it as a chronic condition ailing our humanity from Day one. (D) is a nut job since we do not need to look into the case of other species to beef up the case against our unconditional/uncalculating benevolence. If humans are born to be driven by their own lust and lucre as part of basic instincts, then any author should channel all of one's efforts to cull out instances related to that hypothesis. The rest would be a dog-and-pony show. Thus, I opted for (E) as my final answer choice. According to the first half of the passage, the innate desire of humans to reveal their true blood even at the cost of damaging others was a culprit putting our society's harmony in jeopardy in the 1980s. Then, the second half of it has a different selling pitch: selfishness in the human history. This ever-lasting character lets him/her question the nature of good will by mankind in general. What I failed to see was the connection between them. What do you think about this? Do you mind sharing the rationale behind ur decision?
During the problem set, this game really stumped me, because it doesn't use any typical gameboard setup and I had a really hard time finding an effective way to successfully visualize and toggle all the variables. JY's explanation (https://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-31-section-1-game-4/) had an okay game setup, but I still didn't like how it didn't represent the 2 vs 3-day possibilities or the distribution of the tasks over the days.
While I did only mediocre during my timed take of this game, during blind review I went back to the beginning and brainstormed ways to set up the board to fully and effectively represent all the variables, and I came up with this: (not sure the imgur embed is working so pls copy and paste this link into your browser) www.imgur.com/a/DKBdjxB https://imgur.com/a/DKBdjxB
This setup accounts for all possible gameboards (since the boards are determined by the Day and Task divisions) and there are only 5 (I realized the 5th possibility after I made the imgur link and cant be bothered to do it again, but it's a Day 1: FWT, Day 2: S, Day 3: P gameboard). I wrote the possible Crew Members next to each task in subscript, and kept rule 3b (Max 1 task/CM/Day) HEAVILY in mind. With this visualization of the game, the questions don't take much time at all!
For Q'S 19 and 21, I went down my second column and eliminated any answers that didn't have either I or K, then elim any without L or O, then any without L or G, etc. Made these Q's way faster than when I did the set timed, and with this info setup these questions took only 20-30 seconds each.
For the other 3 questions, you have to kind of blunt force them, but because you have all possible game boards you can kind of blunt force them in your head if you choose. This is where you want to keep rule 3b heavily in your mind, but be aware it can get jumbled in your head bc you're trying to track so many things.
Just wanted to share my game board set up because it made this game a thousand times easier, and I hope other people can benefit from this.
Sorry, we are in the progress of fixing the order right now!
Hello...I am wanting to start PTs and am nearing the end of the LG curriculum. Toward the end, I am struggling with the games. I have made a pile of the games I am really lost on. Before I start PTs, should I BRUTE FORCE understanding on all of the games in my pile? Or start PTs and brute force one game a day while PTing? I haven't taken a diagnostic and have been studying since March/April. #help
Hiiii!
I am located in Orange, CA and am looking for a study/accountability partner! Let me know if you are interested.
Hi! I’m having a bit of trouble approaching my method of review w this section of the LSAT. I’ve been going through the curriculum and doing all the practice sets each section provides. I cant help but think that the best way to approach testing myself it to do drills repeatedly with with specific question types but I remember the advice they gave us saying that we should not exhaust all our study resources too quickly AND to not do one question type over and over again… does anyone have any advice on how to approach improving each question type?
I’m trying to figure out how to move forward with my LSAT studying and thought I’d ask you guys.
My practice LSAT scores are in the mid-150s. That’s good enough to get in to my schools of choice, but I’d like to get a 160 for better scholarship opportunities. I’m taking the September LSAT, so I’m running out of time. I have purchased the 7Sage course and am going through their study schedule example. Should I focus more on practice tests and blind reviewing them or on the curriculum? Or curriculum with a mix of practice tests? Is a 160 even doable at this point?
Any bits of wisdom or advice is much appreciated!
are 5 scratch papers enough if we get 2 LG sections? I am afraid I won't have enough space. Any idea?
Hi,
I just took my LSAT writing and kinda bombed. I was feeling awful going into it but decided to do it anyway. I've always been an okay writer and I wasn't too stressed about it. However, I noticed after submitting it that I had failed to delete my brief description of the decision to be made and the criteria -- they were just sitting above the rest of the essay with a line in between -- and I made a couple of noticeable typos.
Is there anyway to redo it without redoing the entire test? Or to cancel only the writing section?
If it's at all relevant, I started a new medication today (my first dose was about 4 hours before the test) and I think it's definitely possible that it's what was making me feel wonky. I feel a little pathetic using that as an excuse but I honestly believe that it may be relevant, I don't know.
Hi, Everyone! I'm looking for a group of 5-6 people to study with me for the October LSAT (in Miami). Could be mornings or evenings - preferably if you've already taken the LSAT or are scoring 160+. My goal is 167+. Thanks :)
I've gotten good at getting -0 or -1 in LG unless I run into one of the really old misc games. Does anyone think it is worth my time to review them? Every time I go to watch an explanation video, J.Y. says something along the lines of "I don't think you'll see this on a modern LSAT," which is really discouraging me from putting in more work to get them down. Thoughts? Is anyone else running into this issue?
Hello.....I've noticed that sometimes questions can purposefully be time sinkers. Does anyone have any tips on how to identify time sinkers that we should skip and come back to? Thank you #help
Has anyone had experience with requesting a quiet space for the test? Do they just reimburse for a hotel or do they have us go to a specific testing centre?
If you go to "LSAT questions" then "Drills", there are two labels under the logic game category called "grouping with sequencing" and "sequencing with grouping". Is there a difference between them?

Hi everyone,
I am going back to school next week. I will also be working full time job so it is going to be nearly impossible for me to study for the LSAT for the next 3 months.
I have been using 7sage since May and have noticed a lot of improvement. I am currently on track to finish the entire LR section of the core curriculum before I go back.
I plan on taking the LSAT next summer (August/September) and apply to law school in 2024. What can I do to not lose everything I have worked so hard for from now until winter break when I can begin to study again?
Need some help staying on top of my studies
Hey guys! Im taking the LSAT in october 2022. Im aiming to study intensively and creating this study group to keep eachother accountable. Interested parties please let me know I will send a discord link !
Hello,
My name is Ken Kim. We are a group of Koreans and Korean-Americans planning to take the LSAT either this October or in a couple of years. We have members scoring from 160-175 either on the official test or practice tests. Some of us are committed full-time to the test while some of us are working at a company, law firm, etc. We meet on the following dates at the Gangnam station Exit 9 Wing Study Cafe.
8:00 pm-11:00 pm, Wednesday
2:00 pm-5:00 pm, Sunday
We usually meet and do questions from LR and RC. We match our answers and discuss why each one of us have chosen an answer we chose. The fee for joining the study is free other than paying for the studying cafe fee which is 1,900 KRW per person for each hour (5,700 KRW total).
If you are interested, please send me a message to my inbox. I will direct you further. Thanks!
There are various lists/rating for individual games, but not section as a whole for LG.
Does 7sage (or any other place) has a list of difficult sections for each of RC, LR, LG?
Just did PT-88 and ran out of time in middle of Game-3.
G2 and G3 felt much much harder than any other test I've taken, and this after doing not so easy G1 that took ~11 mins.
I went -1/24 today morning on another PT-39 LG, so not sure if PT-88 is an outlier or not.
Is PT-88-LG a known extremely-hard section? How did those who usually are -0 in LG did on this PT?
Hi! I'm taking my first LSAT in September and therefore also spending these last weeks gearing up for it. If you're also taking the September LSAT and need someone to keep you on track, reply below. I want to make a small accountability group that can keep each other motivated daily and meets up once or twice a week.
Hello 7Sage community,
I'm in the process of gearing up for Oct. LSAT and I wanted to bring to your attention June '22 LSAT LG specifically.
I'll get straight to the point: Did anyone find the LG section unusually hard?
I mean I went through the games in pt.1-92 three times before taking the test but I still answered barely 5 questions in total probably. There could be many reasons why I did so poorly on the section but one thing for sure that I felt while attempting the games was that on 3/4 games, I didn't know how to set up the game- They seemed
nothing like the ones I had tried except for the circular game which I ran out of time on.
If anyone did well on June LG can you share your tips?
It'll be much appreciated! Please help 🙏
While doing problem sets for MSS questions, I pinned questions that I struggled with. But I can't figure out where I can access all of the questions that I pinned. How can I access this?
