Hi all,

Thank you again to 7Sage for helping me with my LSAT and achieving my goal in the mid-150s (up from low 130s). I've been in the working world for almost 12 years, and taking the LSAT and scoring in that range was a big achievement for me.

Its been a tough year with acceptance as i'm sure alot of you can attest to. I was waitlisted at my dream school, waiting to hear back from a target, and received a conditional scholarship from a safety school (almost a FULL scholarship provided I maintain a GPA of 3.0/4. Does anyone have any experience with conditional scholarships like this one? I'm ready to accept and i'm just afraid that I won't be able to maintain that - especially if the curve at this particular school is pretty low. My undergraduate GPA - if that is any indication - was close to a 4.0 at a Top 20 school.

That being said, i'm a bit bummed with acceptance this year and wondering if I should even drop my idea of returning to law school. I don't have time to retake the LSAT and am just in awe at how competitive 2021 was for acceptance. Anyone have a similar situation? I think the most important thing is that we have to remind ourselves to be proud of even the thought of returning to school and our drive taking the LSATs in the first place.

Thanks for your help!

Hello! I have been accepted to a Law School with a lot of scholarship money. However, I'm worried that after I send my "final transcript"this Spring Semester, they will alter or even end up not offering scholarship money anymore. Does this happen often or even at all? Do Law School's report students GPA and LSAT with the score they applied as or the LAST CUMULATIVE GPA including your second semester senior grades? If Law School's report with the GPA you applied with, wouldn't my lower GPA not be of an issue to them? I applied as a 3.75 GPA which was in their 75% percentile. With my Spring Semester Grades, I'll drop down to a 3.6~. However, the 3.6 is still higher compared to their median GPA.

Please make it so when I click the eye to remove what I picked as my answer, that I can get another option to not see what the correct answer is/wrong answer was and the percentages of what people picked. I like to go over past exams with a tutor and since I have already answered them. 7Sage PTs already show what is correct, so it is hard to make new assumptions or explain why I think it is wrong or right when the answer is staring right at me, so my mind already goes to what is correct. I know that LSAT Demon offers this option and offers the option to turn off the highlights you have made with a button after the exam is done as well. If you actually end up doing this, thank you!!

In need of a moderately priced RC tutor. LSAT has ran me flatout broke so I can't afford any high-priced tutor. I was really improving and then when I went back to CC, my average dropped significantly after. I can't tell if it's old passages or something else.

Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone has run into this issue. I've naturally been doing well with LR and RC. The 7sage courses helped me get to about an average of -1 on each of those sections. The problem is that I can't seem to get to a consistent -1 to -3 on LGs. Its especially frustrating given how everyone always talks about how it is the easiest section to learn.

I have used the foolproof method fairly extensively. Having done and redone every logic game from Tests 1 - 78. I can redo the sections and get -1/-0 when I do. I also made a tracker of harder and hardest games from Tests 1-78 and did and redid these until I could do them quicker than the recommended time. I've also redone the LG syllabus and whizzed through all the sections.

The problem is... I still am struggling to rap my head around new harder/hardest questions that pop on tests I haven't seen before, especially if its a miscellaneous game. Sometimes its due to panic but other times I am just genuinely stumped. This seems to happen on every new PT I take.

I am averaging low 170s with about -4 or -5 (sometimes worse) in the logic games. I recognize that I am fortunate o have a high base-line score but I have poured in 200+ hours into logic games and it remains my biggest obstacle to being a consistent mid 170 scorer.

Anyone have any advice or deal with the same issue? I've always been awful at puzzles!

Hi!

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to take the June LSAT since there's no experimental, or suck it up and take the Aug or Oct tests when I will be more prepared and ready.

I initially intended to take the Aug LSAT and had structured my course study to do so, but with the announcement of the experimental returning after June, I want to be most efficient in my testing and will grind especially hard if and only if it's worth it to not take the experimental.

Thoughts from people who have taken the experimental and the og test? Preference to one or the other? Reasons?

I just scored 172 on PT69. Yay! It's my first time to break into the 170s! But....I spent 12.5 minutes on 7 questions that I got wrong. (5 of them were RC) How do you spot questions worth skipping? If I could have spent 10 extra minutes on just two of those questions, I might have been able to get them.

Thanks!

Hello all! I’m struggling with choosing between two amazing law schools (that I’ve somehow been admitted into for this Fall) and would really appreciate any perspectives/advice you have on the situation.

I’ve been accepted into UVA Law at sticker price (I tried to ask for more scholarship money once already without success), and WashULaw with a substantial scholarship. I’d be paying for my whole education through loans so the scholarship at WashU is very attractive and overall it would be about $100,000 less to go to WashU than UVA. However, I’m interested in criminal law and national security law and UVA has the programs, faculty and courses that I’m interested in the most.

I’ve thought about ways to mitigate the huge debt I would have at UVA such as getting into BigLaw for a while after graduating or the fact that UVA has the Virginia Loan Forgiveness Program which would help with my loan repayments if I’m in public service. But I’m not sure about staking my $250,000 worth of debt repayment on getting into BigLaw (even though UVA is really good in the BigLaw job market). I’m also worried about the ability to stay in the top percentile of the class at a T14 law school which would affect my ability to get a BigLaw position.

I’m just wondering what others think of the choice and if it is reasonable to choose UVA Law over WashU despite the difference in debt. Thank you in advance!

Is anyone else studying while working full-time? I've been studying and working full-time for the last year and it's been really tough. I work a really stressful job (social work) so motivating myself to study after work has been very difficult for me. For those who work full-time, what are your study schedules? And how do you motivate yourself to stay on schedule? Any and all advice is appreciated!

I got this Necessary Assumption question right, and while it wasn't completely a shot in the dark, I'm struggling to articulate what the argument is saying, and why C is the correct answer. So here I will try to type it out. Any feedback is appreciated.

Argument: The banks should not bear the cost of the insurance. It should be the depositors aka the people who benefit from the insurance.

The necessary assumption: Banks aren't already doing something that offsets the insurance costs they're responsible for

Hello everyone. My original plan for the summer was to study throughout the summer and take the LSAT in August. I have not really been studying, so I would not be ready for the June exam. I just got offered an internship in DC that is from mid-June through early August. It is a great opportunity, but I am worried I could not efficiently study for the LSAT while I am there. I am not aiming to score super high, but I am concerned that I have not really been studying at all. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Y'all !

So as you can see I have a pretty big gap between my raw scores (Pt 40 - 147) and (Pt 41 - 150) and my latest BR score of 171. What are some helpful tips to close this Gap? My biggest problem is of course timing, whenever I am timed the anxiety and nervousness kicks in and comprehension drops. The LSAT is not friendly to those who have been slow readers their whole life. If you're on my boat, I know you feel my pain.

Thanks 7Sage!

I'm planning on taking the August 2021 Lsat and I'm trying to practice taking prep tests with the new format. It will be 4 section with 1 unscored. On 7 sage theres only the Flex LSAT (3 sections) or regular (4 sections all scored), does anyone have any tips on how I should practice.

I am struggling with logical reasoning, specifically with weaken/strengthen questions. From someone who consistently does well in LR do you have any study tips?

I can talk to anyone, so I might as well post it here. I have been stuck at 157 for the last four PTs that I've taken, and I do not know what to do. I want a minimum of 160 as my score to get into my dream school (Loyola in New Orleans). If you have any tips on how to improve RC, PLEASE SHARE THEM WITH ME. My RC is between -11 to -14, and I can't improve it; my LC is -4 to -6 and LG -4 to -7.

Hi folks. The LSAC emails say results will be issued on the 29th. Does anyone know if they stick to those dates or they tend to be flexible with when they get released?

Hello,

I'm looking for someone to study with. I scored 174 on the February test, and am prepping to crack 175. I'd like to work with someone who is at an earlier stage of prep, and wants to do sessions where they come to me with questions. I'm down to work with anybody though. Shoot me a message if you're interested.
