I just took my October Flex today. I asked my proctor specifically before the test begin if he would pause my test should I lose internet connection, and he said yes. The first section was LG, and I was about to go into the last game (with six questions total) with about 6 minutes remaining, when my wifi cut out. I took about 20 minutes to reset the router, and when I finally reconnected, this time with another proctor, I was allowed to resume my test.

However, when the proctor "resumed" my session, I immediately got kicked into my next Section. As time was already running in the 2nd section, I had to decide either to continue with the test and bring up the issue with the first section at the end of the exam, or just call it off right there and then and sort it out with LSAC. I decided to go with the former, still thinking that the first proctor saved my progress (since he promised...).

The RC and LR sections felt like a blur. I tried my best to concentrate, but I was still worried that they didn't save my progress. And of course, exactly that happened. After completing my final section, I was transported to the LawHub Completion page. I asked my proctor to allow me to resume my first section. They made me wait for almost an hour, only to be told to contact LSAC myself. So I did. I called LSAC, and I was told that "an email" would be sent to me, listing my options. However, I was told these options won't include allowing me to complete my first Section or letting me take a brand new LG section to supplement Section 1.

Now I'm just sitting, still in shock, trying to keep myself together, and waiting for an email that probably wouldn't help me.

I just tested my system on ProctorU and it said upload speed could not be found. Then it says * Why would some system information not be found?

Firefox does not allow access to CPU and RAM information. To check for these metrics, test your equipment again using Chrome Browser.

When gathering your system's information, the ProctorU Browser Extension is used to retrieve some metrics. If the ProctorU Browser Extension is not currently installed, then these metrics will not be found. I was just taking my test. Was doing so good on logic games had so much time left for the last game, and my computer died. It was at 100 when I started. I don’t know why I didn’t bring a charger. Now I can’t reconnect on a different computer. I want to cry

Hi all!

I'd been thinking about this for some time and I couldn't come up with a satisfactory answer myself so I decided to write here.

After graduating from college I interned at a government contracting firm for 6 months.

First 3 months was with Financial Management,

Second 3 months was with Leadership and Organizational Development.

Both supervisors from both departments liked me. I believe I was going to be offered an extension for another 3 months at the end, however,

I was basically transferred over to L&OD from FM because nobody could train me and they wanted someone who could do finance and accounting who didn't need training (my background is not in this area). They thought they could train me to do the job at the time of hiring.

I think my supervisor from FM (the first internship) would write me a better LOR because that was before Covid and he's recognized my work ethics and attitude but I'm concerned about the fact that I was transferred because I couldn't perform the tasks for the job.

The supervisor from the second 3-months also liked me but I don't think he will have much to write about in the letter because we all worked from home and he barely saw me during the last 3 months.

I quit after 6 months due to possible exposure to Covid and also to start studying full time for LSAT.

My first question is should I even ask for an LOR from such short internships?

If yes, which supervisor do you think I should ask for the LOR??

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated and good luck for those of you are writing NOV LSAT!

Just took this one and it absolutely annihilated me. 8 point drop from my previous PT.

Would like to hear anyone else's experience with this one.

Hi everyone,

As we recently announced, we've created lessons to explain law courses you’ll take in your 1L year. As part of that effort, we also want to teach you how to write a law school exam.

Law school exams truly are unlike any exams you’ve written in undergrad. That in and of itself is daunting enough. They also happen to account for the entirety of your 1L grades.

Therefore, if your 1L grades are important to you, it’s important that you become acquainted with how to write good exams.

So, we’re giving every student enrolled in an LSAT or Admissions course the opportunity to take part in a mock Crim Law exam. We don’t want your very first experience with writing an exam to be one with so much riding on it. Rather, do a trial run with us and we’ll hold your hand. We’ve temporarily opened up some lessons normally available only to students enrolled in our Law School Explained courses.

If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, first listen to or watch some lectures (appx 2.5 hours), then read one case (appx 45 mins), and finally write an exam (2 hours).

From the exams that we collect, we will select three, anonymize them, and offer detailed feedback.

The lessons, the exam, and the feedback will all be provided by Prof. Daniel Epps of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

If your essay is selected for review, you’ll be receiving personalized feedback on how to improve your writing. The catch is that the feedback will become part of the course to benefit other students as well.

If you submit an essay and we do not select it for review, you’ll still gain free access to the critiques of the three essays that we do select. This will enable you to compare your own exams to see where you can do better. Normally, those lessons would be only available to students enrolled in our Law School Explained courses.

If you’re concerned about the odds of your essay being selected, I’d direct your attention to the quote above. Because we’ve setup the process to be time consuming and demanding, I don’t expect that we’ll get too many responses. This mimics what you’ll quickly come to expect as normal once you’re in law school. It also has the additional effect of filtering for only the original gunners.

I took the October-Flex and am slightly worried I did the same or worse than the previous time I took it. I am trying to decide if I should cancel my score or just wait an see what happens. Specifically, I am curious how bad it looks to admissions to have potentially done worse the second time. I am taking it again in November.

Anyone have thoughts/advice on this?

Hey all. I took the August LSAT and got a 149, much lower than my practice written tests. It was a complete shit show on exam day (I won't get into all of the details). I have about 5 weeks to get as much out of this course as possible. With my 4.0 GPA, a 149 gets me into law school, but I want to raise it to over 160 which gets me into most law schools. With working 2 law enforcement jobs and 15 semester hours, my time is finite. Should I practice test every other day? At least I know what to expect for the Flex this time, I was taken aback by never taking an LSAT like that, even in practice. And I swear that LSAT-Flex was made by Satan himself. The RC was beyond absurd. And all 4 LG's were level 5's. It ate my soul, and I am still trying to get it back. Any advice on the best way to use 7Sage in the best way possible in 5 weeks would be great!

Anyone wants to do a zoom session where we discuss a reading comp. section? 80+ reading comp answer wordings are something else. We'll decide what test to take, we don't score or BR yet, get on zoom, compare answers and discuss our understanding of each passage and how we arrived at our respective answers.

I keep seeing people referring to the Oct. 8th administration date in a way suggesting that it's only for international students. I'm in the United States and signed up for the Thursday date without any issue. However, now I'm getting paranoid that I'm not going to be able to take the test tomorrow or something! Any other Americans taking the test tomorrow (Oct. 8th)?

Hey 7SAGERS! So, i'm registered for the November LSat and am around 4-5 points below my target score. Do you think this is possible by test date? I'm thinking of taking three practice tests per week as timing seems to be my greatest enemy (missing questions at the end because time is running out). Thanks for the advice and good luck to all!

So I started my test, was having tons on problems got tossed around to different proctors/technicians. Eventually was able to start the test, got through the first section and then the connection went out with 2 minutes left. At that point the proctor/technicians told me to just reschedule. When I called LSAC they told me I had to take it this Friday even though there were empty slots to reschedule this week. Just wondering if anyone else had similar experience/was told to retake on Friday.

Hi everyone, I am taking the LSAT for the first time in November. Previously I was PT-ing averaging at low 170s, but then I suddenly dipped and my scores started averaging around 167-168. Thus, I decided to take a 5 days break, thinking that it would help. But since coming back from the break I have done way worse.

While previously I was averaging -0 to -2 for LG, now I am averaging -4. Further dips are seen on my LR and my RC. What should I do then? Should I just continue to take it slow? I am about 30 days away and I am somewhat flustered and desperate. Thank you so much!

Does anyone know if law schools can see which others schools you have applied to through LSAC? I know sometimes they ask about this in interviews, but I was wondering if they could find this out without asking and just by looking at the LSAC website.

Hi there,

My name is Rob. I graduated in April and have a 3.92 GPA. I am PTing 150-160 with BR at 170+. I will be studying and prepping until my score is consistently over 170. I don't care about what cycle that puts me in.

I am looking for someone who REALLY wants to succeed at the LSAT and wants to help me succeed. I only want to work with ONE person. Any more than that and I do not feel it will be productive for me. If you're not up for that, please don't waste your time reaching out.

If you are interested in a rigorous and concentrated approach with no B.S. allowed, I would love to chat and see if our approaches to the exam are compatible. To do so, we can jump on the phone and talk or zoom to get more into details. Please consider this non-committal conversation a way for us to see how we might work together.

The study schedule that I can reasonably accommodate right now (through May 2021) is as follows:

Monday: Full Exam/Blind Review (3-5 hrs)

Tuesday: Single Section (30-45 min)

Wednesday: Single Section (30-45 min)

Thursday: Single Section (30-45 min)

Friday: Deep Review/Analysis (3-5 hours)

Saturday: Full Exam/Review (3-5 hrs)

Sunday: Review/Off (0-2 hrs)

I can foresee a "study buddy" relationship being as follows:

  • A regular phone call/zoom meeting to talk about questions/problems with LSAT

  • Regular accountability check-ins to push each other

    Hi everyone,

    I am looking for one study buddy who is still working through the core curriculum and aims to take the exam either Feb 2021 or April 2021 and preferably someone shooting for mid-upper 160s. I work a 40-hour/week corporate job so I need to be extremely regimental in my studying and would love to have someone to discuss and review, as well as keeping each other on track.

    Reasonably my study schedule is as follows:

    Monday-Friday: start studying between 6-8PM Central Time (Based in Austin, TX)

    Saturday, Sunday: during the day

    I think this would be more useful when we get to the PT part of the course (my goal is November) but I really want to work with someone from the start.

    Hi, I completed my LSAT writing a couple of days ago and while I was trying to take a pic of my ID I was talking to my mom to press the capture button so I could stabilize it since it was coming out blurry (but this was before I started the test). And I also forgot to show under my desk. Does anyone think this is grounds for disqualifying my submission/flagging it? I’m kinda worried and don’t know what if I should call LSAC or not.

    Do LSAT writers not realize that there are non native speakers taking the test as well? I was on track for a 170+ for November until I started PT80+. I'm all over the place. Half the time I don't even know what the questions are saying.

    Are the wordings on PT80+ more difficult to digest or I'm just tired?
