Whenever I try to add live classes to my calendar on the new 7sage it redirects me to a download file for apple calendar. I am unfortunately not an apple user and have to use the classic 7sage to then add the classes to my calendar. Is there a method I'm missing or can we have this added?

Hello,

What is the best philosophy on optional addendum to give context to test scores? I sat the LSAT 4 times (over the course of about 7 months) and obtained the following scores (in order): 168, 169, 168, 169. This was frustrating for me because my practice scores were consistently in the 170s. Is it worth a sentence or two to explain why I sat the LSAT so many times (because my practice tests suggested I could do better?)

I am looking for an accountability or study partner or group in our area. I plan to take the test in April or June 2026. I am hoping to meet a couple of times a week and have a group chat to have check-ins and keep each other accountable.

🙃 Confused

CAS and LSAT scores

I am looking to begin the application process, but I am waiting on my LSAT score from October to come back. I currently have an LSAT score from August. If I pay for a CAS report, will it automatically use my August score because I have not received this new score? If so, will it update automatically with my October score if it is better?

Also, do I need to submit letters of recommendations before I order CAS? I feel like I am missing information about the "right order" for all of this.

Hi all! I'm based out of Toronto, Canada and looking for a buddy (or a few!) who'd be willing to meet up every week for an in person study session. Maybe some virtual sessions as well outside of that. I'm planning to take the LSAT in the new year but haven't yet set a date. It'll be a parallel work ongoing study group.

If you're interested, please reach out! :)

SA Questions

Hello all. Just finishing the SA question module in the Core Curriculum, and it's kicking my butt. I'm wondering if it's best to basically start it again from the beginning and really try to grok it, or push on and come back later in the hopes that it will make more sense.

Or maybe it's like any new & intense thing: you start out blazing but at some point you hit your first plateau, and you either have to take a break and come back fresh, or just grind through it. Thoughts?

Which answer, if true, most strongly supports the weary student's concerns? :)

LSAT

Hello! I would like to know, for those who have already taken the LSAT and are taking it again, is 7sage is an accurate depiction of what the test is going to be like on test day. I have been vacillating between LawHub and 7sage. I have noticed that LawHub is slightly differently from 7sage although I have ran across a question or two on 7sage from LawHub. Also there are no comparative passages on the LawHub preptests. I just want to avoid the shock.

LSAT online test

Hey everyone,

I’m taking the LSAT in November, and I heard that during the online test it’s required to keep your hands visible in the camera frame at all times.

The issue is, I’m using a MacBook, and it’s basically impossible to do that comfortably. To make my hands visible, I’d have to tilt the screen so far down that I can barely see the screen to read the questions.

Has anyone else faced this problem? Any practical setup suggestions or ways to position the laptop or camera so it meets LSAC’s rules without making it impossible to take the test?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Study group

Hey guys, I plan on taking the test this January ( hopefully.) I'm looking to form a study group where we can share ideas and motivate one another. Hopefully, we can get this test out of the way already lol.

So I am new to the entire LSAT/LSAC/Law School endeavor. I am a first generation btw & have been pining about law school for a while (among other things like a job).

I notice that there is a mixer in NYC (where I am located by God's grace) after the LSAC forum. Now I am thinking is the LSAC forum like a significant thing? should I be attending?

What is the deal with these forums? they look rather cursory, perhaps?

I am so lost & focusing on the LSAT but anxious about missed opportunities and really unhappy that I cannot even seemingly get an offer as a volunteer at a legal firm or legal aide or ACLU or some other firm (I have degrees from Harvard & Columbia University & I am a US citizen). They don't want my help with volunteering but whenever I need legal help I can not find a lawyer or even a volunteer to help with legal issues. What is up with that?

Any help would be appreciated, any pointers or referrals. I mean people from Ind_ia (from the South!) with no-name school Bachelors are working as paralegals for Jewish law firms in NYC. I should have some chance here, right?

My first test date is in November, and I will likely take the January 2026 test as well.

So, if anyone is interested, I will be available to study together in person/online at least 3 times a week.

I hope we can share our experience and make this journey more enjoyable than study alone:))!!

https://7sage.com/lessons/logical-reasoning/necessary-assumption-questions/na-lesson-1-pt64-s3-q12

Would someone correct my conditional logic steps that may lead to the condition that forms the answer:

Premise 1: "some gardening books published by Garden Path recommend tilling the soil and adding compost before starting a new garden on a site"

(domain) gardening books:

published by GPP <-s-> tilling AND compost (1)

Premise 2: "they (those same books) do not explain the difference between hot and cold composting."

published by GPP <-s-> / diff H&C composting (2)

Premise 3: "any gardening book that recommends adding compost is flawed if it does not explain at least the basics of composting"

(domain) gardening books :

/ basics composting -> flawed (3)

Conclusion: "some books published by Garden Path are flawed."

published by GPP <-s-> flawed (4)

(4) is the same as :

flawed <-s-> published by GPP (5)

combining (5) and (2)

flawed <-s-> published by GPP <-s-> / diff H&C composting (6)

based off of (6)

flawed <-s-> / diff H&C composting (7)

Combine (7) and (3)

/ basics composting ->/ diff H&C composting

contrapositive:

diff H&C composting -> basics composting

Based on the above D should be the answer perhaps?

Though certainly there is a flaw in there somewhere particularly with the <s> relationships inference etc.

Imsg GroupChat

Ok I am looking to make an iMessage group chat where we post questions and help each other explain throughout the day. Lmk.

Often when I make practice drills I find that if I pick questions automatically, it seems like there is a tendency puts the most difficult 5 star questions first, and the easier 3 stars and 2 stars later. Maybe that's just me, but at the very least you can say there's no observable pattern as to how questions are ordered based on difficulty. This is really disorienting, as this is the opposite of what you're going to encounter on the tests, and generally it's just easier for me to work into the difficulty.

I'd like to propose that the automatic question generator can sort questions starting from easiest to hardest. The ordering doesn't have to be super precise, but I feel like this feature would both enable better performance and better simulate test conditions
