I keep missing the difficult and very difficult questions on Logical Reasoning. Do you have any tips to help me improve on those?
Hi, I am taking the November LSAT and am PTing around the 150's right now. I want to get to the 160's before November and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get there. Thank you in advance!
Hello, I have taken the LSAT twice already and I cannot pass the 140s. I am trying to reach 155 before applying to law school. Right now i'm going through the foundations and have a study plan. Should I take a practice test at the end of my study plan in December before I start phase 2 or should I just take one now?
The Reccomended for BR feature has me feeling conflicted as someone who just switched from classic to new. The fact that it picks out questions you're incorrect on makes me wonder if its impeding my own ability to see what questions I'm likely to be wrong at. It also flags questions for BR that aren't incorrect, but makes me psychologically think they are, so I end up changing them.
What's your experience been? Have you found it helpful in understanding what you're wrong at, focusing your attention on weak areas, and being more confident? Or the opposite, is it stopping you from learning?
Hi all,
I just recently received my CAS GPA and to say the least, it is MUCH worse than I expected,
I am currently at a University but I got my AA at a community college. My current GPA at my University is 3.83- and I am taking high level courses- I am graduating in December (I am still taking classes).
But due to an oversight on my end I did not realized they took your grades from your AA and all the Institutions you have attended- not that I did bad, but my GPA was about a 3.1.
My CAS GPA is a 3.17.
I was completely distraught when I found this out. I have made the calculations and when I finish my classes in December with an A. Then my new CAS GPA will be a 3.30. (I am certain I will get all A's on my classes this semester)
To be honest, there isn't anything I can do other than Ace my classes this semester, but with that my GPA will still be low.
I took my LSAT in August and I scored a 151, NGL there was a lot that happened that day- I am surprised I even scored in the 150s given the series of events, But I also took the September LSAT last week and that one felt amazing, and I am also going to be taking October, my goal is to get a 160.
I want to go to FIU Law- that is my dream law school - my current undergrad-
Do I even stand a chance with that GPA???
I also wanted to apply in October- but will they even look at my application with my current GPA? I want to get in on early applications, I would resubmit my transcripts once I get them and have a new GPA (probably around January)- and I am planning on writing a short addendum on that.
Does it even matter that my current classes are much harder and I am getting all As on them- as opposed to my undergrad with basic classes (when I was a teenager and obviously didn't care/know the repercussions to my actions).
I have also worked at a prestigious Law Firm for 2 years as a Legal Assistant,
LMK if my efforts are even worth it.
TLDR; 151 LSAT 3.17 GPA- HOPEFULLY stats are 160 LSAT and 3.30 GPA- at the end of the process- do I stand a chance getting into FIU Law?
Thanks!
I was listening to an older 7sage LSAT podcast from before this new website was launched and they were talking about changing the settings on the analytics page to show more updated stats from the last 3 PTs taken. Is there a way to do this on the new website? I'm not sure if I'm missing it, but it would be super helpful to track recent progress. Thanks!
Is anyone still waiting to hear about accommodations for the November LSAT? It's been 2 weeks and LSAC just told me it'll probably be another 3 weeks before I have an answer

Is anyone else having this same problem? Every time i try to use the "show question" feature to view a question and try it myself before a lesson or refer to it when im doing review, it will either not show up entirely and glitch my screen, or pop up with half of the question?? Im sure its just a bug but hopefully they can fix it soon because its making my review way more inconvenient lol
Would anyone be interested in a book club type group where we go over the loophole and the lsat trainer books together?
Moralist: Closing this factory would destroy 500 jobs and devastate families. We therefore should keep the factory open.
Environmentalist: Ridiculous. Merely pointing out negative consequences of the proposed factory shutdown does not prove we must keep the factory open. You’re overlooking potential benefits! This shows we should proceed with the factory shutdown.
Moralist: Pure nonsense. Obviously I know that I should have considered potential benefits and established why the costs of the factory shutdown would outweigh those benefits. But the fact that my argument was inadequate to prove my conclusion does not show that my conclusion was wrong! So your own response is flawed when you conclude that we should close the factory. Given your fallacious response, it’s clear that we should keep the factory open.
Environmentalist: Foolish hogwash. You’re the one committing the “fallacy fallacy”! Even if my own response was flawed, that doesn’t prove that we should keep the factory open. You can’t just reject my conclusion because my argument for closing the factory was a weak and unpersuasive criticism of your own argument for keeping it open. This is why the right course of action is to shut down the factory.
Moralist: Utter codswallop. Yes, perhaps I committed the “fallacy fallacy,” but the conclusion of my fallacious argument could still be true! What reason have you given for proceeding with the shutdown? None. All you’ve done is criticized my own argument against the shutdown. Hence, we should keep the factory open.
Concerned citizen: Please, just stop! Don’t you hear yourselves? You’re both committing the same fallacy over and over. Moralist, if you want to argue in favor of keeping the factory open based on the costs of a shutdown, you should show that you’ve considered potential benefits and that they either don’t exist or are outweighed by the costs. And Environmentalist, if you want to argue that we should proceed with the shutdown, you should tell us about the benefits of the shutdown and why they outweigh the costs. Tearing down each other’s arguments doesn’t build up your own. That’s why you’re both wrong. We should neither close nor keep the factory open.
Moralist and Environmentalist: Absurd drivel. Pointing out that our arguments were flawed doesn’t prove that our conclusions were false. That’s why, contrary to your absolute bilge-water conclusion, we should both close the factory and keep it open.
Hi guys i am taking the LSAT in October but i want to move it to November. If this happens will that still be enough time to apply and get admitted in the FALL 2026 cycle?
Hi all! This is my first time posting on here and I hope I explain my predicament clear enough. Right now I am working on logic reasoning and my accuracy is at about a 95% with level 1 questions. The second I move into level 2, 3, &4 I start to plummet, which I expected. I know it takes practice which is what I'm doing. Where my issue comes in is, when I do those higher difficulty practice questions ill be honest I get less than 50% right on the first try but the second I move into blind review, I suddenly see that I picked the wrong answer and I do end up picking the correct answer. I am wondering if anyone has some tips that they think might help?
My diagnostic was a 142 and I have yet to take another test because I really just wanted to build the knowledge of the questions first and work on it a little bit, But my accuracy is going up, just not on the first try :(
Is anyone else having trouble with the analytics and tags not working. I'm trying to drill specifics but it is not working very well.
Hi everyone!! This is my first time posting on discussion. I have a September test date and I'm not doing so well. My PT scores have been consistently decrease for the past three weeks while my BR score has been increasing. I know this is common so I know this is a timing issue. I was wondering what are the best timing drills/ strategies/ practice I can use to help. For reference, my most recent PT (149) I got a 155 and a 168 on BR. My cold diagnostic was a 150. My highest PT (140) I got a 163 with a 169 on BR. I would like to get into the 170 region but at this rate, I'm not sure if it's possible. I know that this means I know the content and need help with timing. Would love to hear some opinions!
Thanks!
Hi everyone, hope your studying is going well!
I just finished the Foundations section and the Main Conclusion section of 7sage. Is this a good time to start taking practice tests? Should I wait until I get further into the LR study section before beginning to take practice tests?
Would love to hear what you all think and what has worked for you!
Hi everyone! Is there any way to change the preferences of the blind review? I would prefer, at this point in my studying, if, after a section, blind review didn't highlight questions I got right but spent too much time on.
Hi, I took a preptest and was prompted to do the blind review right after. I clicked in order to take a brief break before doing the blind review, however now when I click on the "review" button there is no longer a blind review option available? Is this normal? How can I still do a blind review?
Hi everyone,
I’m an international student with an LLB (equivalent to a JD) from another jurisdiction, and I also hold an LL.M. from a U.S. university. Despite that background, I’ve decided to pursue a JD, and I’m currently preparing for the LSAT with the goal of applying to T14 schools.
Although I studied law in English and use it fluently in both academic and professional settings (I’ve worked at U.S. law firms and I’m currently interning at an appellate court), I find the Reading Comprehension section to be the most difficult. The challenge is not understanding the text—I can follow the passages—but rather the time pressure, which is already extremely limited on the LSAT and feels even tighter for me.
My question is: How do admissions officers typically view LSAT scores from applicants whose first language is not English? Do they take this context into account, or are scores evaluated in the same way as those of native speakers?
Also, if anyone knows of statistics regarding international applicants and LSAT performance, or has other beneficial information for candidates in a similar position, I’d be very grateful if you could share.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Everyone! I am located in Saint Petersburg, FL which is in Pinellas County and would love to meet up and create a study group. I have a car as well so I can travel if you're not in my immediate area. I plan on possibly doing the November LSAT for the first time. I just started studying so I will likely be up for studying after that as well. Please let me know! Comment or send me a chat!
Comment if you want me to make an LSAT prep groupme!
Hi all! for those who have crammed like me and decided very recently to pursue law school, I would love to create a study group for us. Anybody in the OC community please comment and I will put something together. My test is in november!
