I would love the ability to change what is automatically generated in practice blocks. I like the general guidelines and structure it creates but I'd like the ability to move stuff around and be able to "complete" a practice block and have it shown as complete for a week without necessarily doing a PT every single week like it has been suggesting for me. I'm also trying to focus more on RC, so I'd like to be able to add more practices into my RC days and have it show up in my X min left section for the tracker.

How to bridge the gap from your PTs and BRs

I've been taking some Practice tests for a while, but when I do them, my LSAT scores are pretty low, around 150. However, my Blind Review scores has been improving up to 160-164 consistently. I can't seem to bridge the gap, and want to know how anyone else fixed that problem? When I do BR's I usually choose my second choice, which is always right, instead of taking more time to actually read the question I just click that one and move on, so I'm not sure if timing is the problem? I would also like to see how to choose my second choice on the real test first. If anyone has any tips, please let me know.

I have a recent 178 LSAT, and an expiring 336 GRE score from a Master’s program I need to send in the next couple days before it’s gone forever. I know the LSAT carries more weight since it’s what affects rankings, but is it worth submitting the GRE since it’s also above the median for my schools?

I guess the question comes down to whether schools will see the GRE as adding another dimension where I demonstrate my strength, or does it dilute my LSAT which is at a higher percentile band? Does anyone have any insight?

using analytics?

how do y'all use your analytics? I feel like there's so much data there that I'm not taking advantage of.

does the study plan basically do that for you? or should I be building in extra drills to specifically target my weaknesses?

are there any hidden details that you've found helpful?

should I be worried that my drilling accuracy hasn't budged (even though my pt scores have been going up)? or does that just mean the ~algorithm~ is assigning me harder drills?

grateful for any wisdom you guys share!

Hey there! I’m looking for a virtual study partner or small group. I’m currently scoring in the high 160s to low 170s, with LR being much stronger than RC, and I’m planning to take the exam in January and hope to get a 175+. I’d love to team up with someone at a similar level or aiming for it who’s looking for a study partner to bounce ideas off of and stay accountable with. I work full time on PT, so maybe someone who can meet in the evenings would be helpful but not required whatsoever.

We can bring each other questions or sections that gave us trouble, share them, and talk through our reasoning together. We can text to stay in touch and hop on Zoom occasionally to review tougher sections. My hope is that explaining concepts will help solidify them, and having someone to talk through tricky questions like I would a tutor would be a great resource.

If you’re interested, feel free to message me here! And if possible, please share a linkedin or some other proof so I can confirm you’re a real person :)

Thanks everyone and good luck!!!

Hello fellow prospective attorneys. This is my first post. I am confused about which months next year it would be the most ideal to sit for the LSAT in order to gain admission in Spring 2027. I thought of doing April and June - I started studying in September.

Thanks.

Possible retake?

This may just be my nerves and lack of confidence talking. I took the LSAT this morning and am unsure how I did. My last few PTs have ranged from 154-159 with my highest BR in low 160s. My goal was a 160, but I’ll be content and decline a retake if I score at least a 158. Should I continue studying before knowing my score or pick up again once I get the score on the 26th? The next test dates are for January I think. Any opinions/advice appreciated.

Edit: Is January LSAT too late for applications? Would that just delay me until next cycle?

I would like to request that the "Ask a Tutor" option have the answer from the tutor living within that question. I know that they email us their response, but my inbox is easily flooded, and it would be easier to reference the answer and look at the question when it's saved within that exact question. The feature could be similar to how the "notes" option shows us any notes we add for a question.

Please consider adding this; it would be very helpful!

🧐 Curious

Breakthrough

Just curious.

For anyone who has made it from the mid-150s to the 160s, what was the turning point?

Whether it was a specific LSAT strategy or something outside the test (like your daily routine), I’d love to hear what your turning point was.

#help - The website lags whilst taking timed sections. I was trying to pause the timer, the button didn't work. I tried to move to the next question, the page froze there. This has happened a few times, so I wanted to bring it to the admin's attention.

Grateful for your help!

Hi! I think it would be cool if the study plan was more modifiable while I was going. For example, if I wanted to PT on a day instead of doing the exercises that it has planned for me, I could more easily edit it to fit with what I'm doing. I really enjoy having the study plan, but I don't like that if I miss a day or if I am doing something other than the exact tasks it gives me then I'm suddenly behind on the plan and have to catch up.

6

So, I just took a paper exam, and I don't know my score nor which questions I missed. I want to plug my answers into 7sage using the manual import, but before I did that, I just wanted to know if it was possible to blind review a prep test when I've manually inputted my answers. I've only ever imported from LawHub before, and I didn't try to BR those tests (or even look into whether or not I could), since I already knew what I had missed.

We're hiring a designer!

Hey 7Sagers, we're looking for a new designer who understands the LSAT—maybe you! Full post below. Put questions in the comments. Thanks!

Location: fully remote

Hours: 20–30 hours per week with potential for full-time

Compensation: $50 to $150 per hour, based on experience

About the Role

We’re seeking a UI and UX designer to help us develop new features and flows for our LSAT Prep platform.  The work may involve iterating on current designs, taking a wireframe to high fidelity, or starting with a problem statement and delivering a complete solution.

You’ll be expected to

  • Learn about the LSAT study process so you have sufficient context

  • Explore the website so that you can plug your designs into the rest of the app’s functionality

  • Distill complicated problems into simple abstractions

  • Think on the level of both the big-picture UX and the nitty-gritty details of the UI

  • Communicate clearly and concisely

  • Deliver developer-friendly, well-documented Figma files that utilize auto-layouts and reusable components where appropriate.

About our workflow

You’ll do most of your work independently with regular consultations from the heads of product and design along with feedback from other stakeholders. We group our projects into epics, but we don’t do scrums or formal sprints. Much of our communication happens via screencast videos and chat, but you must be available for occasional remote meetings.

We are allergic to slides or anything that feels too ceremonious.

We value clarity, usability, and simplicity above pure aesthetics, and when given the choice, we’ll always pick a solution that gets us 80% of what we want at 20% of the effort.

About the process

Apply using this form.

Begin your cover with the phrase "Why I'm a good fit—".

If we’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule a screening interview and then ask you to do a paid trial project.

I've put putting in the work for about two months and seen great improvement. My initial diagnostic score was a 145 and I was able to increase that to a 154 on the October LSAT. My logical reasoning sections tend to be very hit or miss. Example: I just took a full LSAT today and on the first section I made it through all but one problem and scored 20/25. On the second LR section I made it through the same number of problems and got a 13/27 which is much lower than my normal. I usally score about 17/18 correct every section.

I am wondering if anyone has any advice for narrowing the gap between my good sections and my really bad ones. I've reviewed and cannot determine why I did so well on one and not the other. I'm taking the LSAT again tomorrow and hoping to get a few points higher than I did in October. Any last minute tips would be appreciated!

Hello! I just started the 7Sage course last week and was looking for people in Metro Vancouver to form a study group. I would be happy to meet in person or do an online group where we can talk about specific questions or sections that we need to work on. I find that teaching and learning from others is a great way to digest the insane amount of information we need to learn for the LSAT.

If anybody is interested, please let me know!

Tutoring - 178 Scorer ($50/hour)

Edit: I'm not currently taking on any more students. I will make an updated post when I have additional availability.

Hi everyone,

I'm offering affordable LSAT tutoring at $50/hour. I scored a 178 on the LSAT and have been working with a few students in all different score ranges. The LSAT is a test that largely depends on identifying patterns of reasoning and learning formal logic skills. I think this test is super learnable, but it takes a lot of focus to be able to identify the gaps in your reasoning that might be preventing you from improving your score. Through tutoring sessions, I would be happy to work with you to identify these reasoning gaps and help you reach your goal score.

I'm currently looking to take on 3 or 4 more students, so let me know if you're interested. I also offer discounted rates for students who might be interested in scheduling several hours of tutoring at a time.

International Undergrad Gpa

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding GPA. Unfortunately, my GPA is quite low. My LSAT practice scores are really good; however, because of my low GPA, I’ve started to feel nervous.

LSAC completed the evaluation, and it came out as “average.” This evaluation also included my GPA. I’m not sure whether law schools will look at my original GPA or the overall LSAC evaluation average.

I read on some blogs that for international students, admissions staff often consider the LSAC evaluation average rather than the raw GPA. Is that true?
